Chapter 9: Running Away

*pant pant*

"RUN!"

*vroom vroom*

"ARGHH!!"

It was technically chaos right now like everything was run by some large burning pin roll to the whole street making them run for their lives.

They did not predict this would happen nor everyone would have thought about it.

Not only Leo and Daniel got dragged by some kind of a mysterious van even the thugs that are running away are not safe from them.

The kidnapping was quite common in the Philippines that the country was given a title [kidnapping capital of the world] but kidnapping on a large scale has never happened in the Philippines nor the whole world... I mean who in the world would do this kind of thing? I may be asking this in question even tho it's happening right now as it's still a mystery why did they do this kind of thing.

Carlo who is running along with his members got caught up by a white van in front of them as it was waiting for them.

"Shit!" Cursed by Carlo who is entrapped by their enemy.

"Boss what to do!?" One of his members asks a question nervously.

There were fourteen of them and most of them are tired from the fight earlier as they are about to collapse from exhaustion.

Carlo may be ruthless about those who he considered as an enemy but he thinks his members as important as himself to take their safety first. This was his experience as a thug to never let him abandoned his group as he will be named a tyrant king for that.

He is still thinking of a way to escape as he never gives up even in this kind of situation.

(Now I'm thinking like that kid!) He blurted out as he was disgust at himself.

Four adult men in a black suit came out from the van and ran towards them.

It would be inevitable to run away from them because this was not the only van that is roaming around here and if they run back they will get cornered.

"Tch!" As Carlo got no choice he orders his thugs with a regret tone in his voice as he was no choice nor they had a choice.

"Rin..." said Carlo in a low tone.

"Yes!?" the man called Rin responded to his call.

"..." Carlo looks at him with pitiful eyes hesitatingly if he would continue to talk or not.

"Rin... I want you to buy cigarettes for me for later."

"Excuse me what?" Rin showed a confused expression.

Rin didn't get what Carlo meant so he changes what he had said to him.

"I want you to distract those bastards to let us make way through the van."

Like he got a choice for this. This may be the best choice in this kind of situation.

He did not stop there and continued his explanation to Rin who is still confused.

"Gather five people and distract them while our group escape."

Rin somehow gets him but if they did that then...

"We may not get out of this..." Rin finally understood his boss as to why he was in a low tone.

Those adults that are running straight to them are getting near and no one from Carlo's group is averting their eyes from them.

Rin looks at his boss- Carlo and speaks to him.

"Alright," said Rin with a full smile on his face.

As he said it Rin already picks his five people to distract those four adults like they are prepared to lose their lives in the battle.

Normally people will not follow this kind of order but because they are in deep bound to each other not like of those regular thugs you can see but like one of those so-called family.

The other five that Rin picks also understood what is their role as they ready their stances to attack their enemy in the way. Rin also readies his stance.

But just when they are about to launch an all-out attack Carlo halted Rin by tapping his shoulder and speak to him with a humble tone.

"I want cigarettes... Buy me later after this." Carlo showed a smile to Rin and Rin also smiles back.

"Of course I will..." said Rin as he shows his fist in front of Carlo.

Carlo understands him as he also showed his fist tapping it to Rin's fist forming a fist bump to each other.

They may be young yet they showed a deep bound if they continued their life without getting involved in thugs they maybe have a stable life by now.

They all ran with all of their might as the five went to the five adults.

Those adults understand what are they doing and proceed to quickly dispose of Rin and his group.

(Cheeky Brats!) grin by one of the adults.

But as they think they can capture these five easily but they surely underestimated them.

Unlike Leo and his group who work flawlessly, Rin's group has some mistakes from here to there but they make it up in trusting each other by baiting one another of their enemy like they always did in the past. 

One of Rin's group ran straight to two of the adults leading him to get captured while the other four make this their advantage as those two adults lost focus to them.

They hit the two adults with all of their might in any places of their body like head or torso yet as expected from adults they rock hard as they standing without showing any tint of budging from the hits.

(!?) Even it was expected they still can't believe it and because of that one of their strategy failed as one of their group got captured.

They realized that they only focusing those two adults as the remaining three are disappeared from their sight.

(Where are they!?)

Rin look left and right looking for them yet there is no sign of them.

Time is running out and his group is getting crushed one after another.

"Gargh!" Another one of his group got pinned down by one of the adults making them only three left.

(Shit!) They tried to rescue the one got pinned but they were blocked by one of the adults.

Thugs are surely good at running away and have more experience in fighting than any other yet they got pinned down by only two adults in front of them not only that, the other three adults are missing as they didn't know where they are.

"Rin looks like we are about to get our organs were about to get sold hahaha." one the remaining three told a joke to them. (Dark humor.)

"Hehehe Your jokes are weird as always," Rin replies by praising his joke... his last joke.

Joke or not that might happen to them if they got kidnap as that was the reason why children getting kidnap for selling their organs.

As they stop laughing they look at the two adults who carrying each one of their members at their shoulders.

"They got the disadvantage of having to fight us in one hand can we do it?"

"Not sure if we don't try!"

"Go!"

The three launch again an all-out attack.

Unlike earlier where they use the method of baiting, they use another strat of theirs.

A disgusting strat.

The good thing about their enemies is that like gorillas they are a big target.

(I don't want to be captured yet! I have to buy a bunch of cigarettes to Boss!)

Run straight. Attack straight. Runaway. Attack Straight.

Hit and run strat use by the generals in the past histories.

To make sure their attack gets more effective they must hit one of their weak points.

(Your body may be bigger but you are not agile as Leo or Mike!)

They hit their weak points where even the adults didn't expect them to attack that place.

The groin.

Three of them attack the two simultaneously at their balls.

I, who is even a girl knows that this is painful as fuck.

Those two adults groan in pain as they covered their balls with their one hand.

The three thugs didn't let them take rest or even breathe as they continued to attack.

"Wahahaha! How about that!?" One of Rin's group who makes the joke earlier is now laughing sadistically. A-as expected from the thugs... they sure they don't forget those who hurt them as they pay back ten times worse.

They continued to attack and attack at their groin even it was covered with their hand.

Even Rin who is now sneering at them. (In your fucking face! hahaha)

They focus on covering their balls and carrying each one of the thugs on their shoulders they got no protection all over their bodies.

Just as they are getting beaten by these thugs the remaining three adults finally appeared.

Their smiles from Rin's group went into despair as they realized why they are missing just now.

(They are not hiding to attack us but to do that!?)

The three adults are dragging seven people like a corpse.

Those seven people are Carlo and his group who are about to run away but got halted by these three adults.

Rin's group purpose to distract the enemy was in now in vain... no, it was already in vain when they lost sight of their enemies in the first place. With the five adults had gathered it will impossible to run away from them nor fight them.

Rin's remaining group of five has lost their will as they are fallen into their knees.

He can't believe it nor his group believes in this scenario either.

(This was just a dream right?)

Slowly and steady the five adults are walking slowly to them.

(We lose, huh...)

Rin looks at the sky didn't even mind those adults who are approaching him as he gives up.

The only thing that he was thankful is that he was about to die along with his friends.

It might be disgusting to think of that but if you are a thug living out of the disappointment of their parents and don't have a certain knowledge of anything besides stealing and fighting, dying with his friends is better to him- to all of them than dying alone.

Rin, Carlo, and his twelve members got captured by one of those mysterious vans.
