Chapter 6: Leo

"Leo! Leo! Leo! Leo!"

"Leo! Leo! Leo! Leo!"

In the middle of the night, more and more people keep coming which means there is no escape for our poor injured Mike.

The people who are watching mostly consist of thugs and a few people who happen to just pass by.

Surely some people would report this to the police but the police would be too late if they want to save Mike.

In front of Mike was the one who punched him.

There are only two of them in the middle of the cheering crowds the other four just back down and to let the two fight each other.

They were standing in the middle of the pole's light as it was like a tournament.

With walls of people surrounding them to prevent one to flee.

(Damn it. If they want to beat me up then why would they bother to make this one vs one instead of all of them vs me!? I mean I am grateful, but does this mean they have expectations on this guy to defeat me?)

The guy who is in front of Mike was ready to attack as it ready his stance.

A masculine body that can be seen through his shirt, and a large build body as if Mike is an 8-year-old kid in comparison. This was indeed a problem for him.

Not only that, but his stance was also somewhat familiar to Mike.

His hands above his forehead and both of his forearms are pointing towards his enemy, Mike.

One foot forward and both knees were slightly bent.

(Mua Thai, huh?)

"Heh. Why would a young martial artist like you get involved in this ruckus? Does it come with money? fame? or maybe girls?" Asked Mike in curiosity.

"Well you see, joining a gang is a good opportunity to use what I learned from my training," Leo answering Mike's question in such a cool manner.

"So you are just a spoiled brat who just wanted to fight those people who are weaker than you."

"I don't want to hear it from you who did [that] kind of stunt."

"You even know [that]. Am I really that famous?... Oh yeah, by the way, based on your appearance and your story, you are the weakest among your fellow young martial artist, right?"

"!?..." Leo takes a surprise face as he didn't expect Mike to say that.

"Huh, did I hit a mark? Hahahaha as expected! Oh yeah... Maybe you got kicked out of your dojo or something because you didn't practice much and just join a gang to get drunk in the pleasure of beating those weaker than you? Did you really learn martial arts? Do you even know the name of the martial arts you are using? Hahaha! Oh god, I can't stop laughing from this!"

"Kuh... Laugh all you want! You can't even put a fight with those injuries!"

(Good. He fell to my provocation.)

Leo was annoyed and mocked Mike that he can't fight anymore.

True. With that kind of wounds on his body, he doesn't have a chance to win.

"You cannot be sure if I don't try, right?"

However, Mike is still standing up and wiggling his hands up and down forming a weird gesture like earlier.

Leo is surprised and somehow amazed at the same time.

Mike smiled sneeringly to Leo who was still in disbelief.

"Looks like I just need to beat out of your virgin face to escape from this shit."

He is mocking Leo showing he can win this fight.

Of course, Leo didn't let Mike insult him any further as he started to kick Mike.

Mike takes a step back dodging his kick to his face.

"Face again!?"

Leo didn't just stop just from one kick, he thrust his hand forming a fist targeting Mike's shoulder.

"Gah!"

Mike didn't have much mobility when it comes to fighting close combat as he feels pain from his left shoulder.

But when Leo just hit Mike a clean counter went straight to Leo's stomach.

"!?"

Leo was thrown down to the ground holding his stomach as he is groaning in pain.

"""WOAH!!!""" sounds of crowds cheering in excitement.

"Just which side are you on?!" voiced in a complaint by Mike.

However, just when he was about to gather his breath Leo quickly stands up at the ground and started a barrage of kicks to Mike.

Mike tried to block his multiple kicks but because of his swollen left wrist, he barely blocks half of them.

Without much space to run around in a circle, Mike got no choice to face Leo head-on.

*pant pant*

"What's wrong? Already tired? We are only getting started!" said Leo in a mocking tone.

Another barrage of kicks and also punches go straight to Mike.

Block, block, block, and deflect.

Mike can barely keep up from his speed, not only it's fast but the barrages of attacks did not show any sign of stopping nor slowing.

(His moves are indeed for beginners but what with those power, and speed he has!? Not to mention his stamina!)

He got no time to shout in a complaint as he was about to run about of breath.

One after another block, and deflect the only thing he can do.

Block, block, deflect, and deflect.

Leo who is still keeping his barrages of attacks was surprised by the endurance Mike had shown.

(Then how about this?!)

He stops his attacks and raised his foot straight up high forming an ax kick down to Mike.

Mike takes a slide to the side dodging the incoming attack cleanly as he was expecting him to do it.

(He could even do that!?)

Just when Leo showed his ax kick he continued another left and right barrages of attacks to Mike.

(Fuck!)

Both did not have time to talk to each other like you can see in animes as they focus all of their energy in attacking and blocking each other's actions.

Suddenly, a sudden elbow blow thrust into the right chest of Mike.

Luckily, he managed to block half of the impact by alternating its direction with his palm but instead it went into his left chest.

(Gargh!!)

Leo is surprised by his sudden deflection.

Mike takes Leo's surprise to his advantage by kicking him away from him.

*BAM*

(!?)

He was thrown away making their distance to each other grew a little longer.

But Leo did not show any sign of damage nor pain from Mike's kick and quickly kick the ground to shorten his distance to Mike in an instant.

Mike managed to get a little breather from kicking Leo but gets interrupted in a flash.

(Again!?)

A low kick hits his right leg making Mike lost his balance and fell to the ground.

Not only that. To make sure he will not stand up for a while he kicks Mike's head to make him stay down unconscious.

The only one who was standing is Leo showing he won the fight.

A loud cry of cheering from the crowd that mostly consist of thugs but somehow even those random watchers also cheered in excitement.

"I don't why those kids are fighting but this is the best thing I witness in my life!

"Right!? Even he is our enemy yet I cheered on him! As expected from the shitty brat!"

"I'm glad I take this overtime!"

"Hoy! Did anyone managed to record the whole fight?!"

"*cries* We finally managed to beat out of him! *cries*"

"We can't call it 'we beat him' because Leo is the only one doing all the work!"

"Are we just gonna ignore Daniel who also gives him a hard time?"

"Who's that?"

"He is the one who is shooting Mike earlier as he almost beats him."

"Ohh! That rude one! He fucking deserved it! How dare he make fun of the great me!?"

"Hahaha!"

The crowds did not show any signs of stopping.

Thugs even those adults on a job are happily talking to each other even they don't know one another. 

Leo thought it was cool that everyone was talking about him and raised his right fist forming a victory pose.

The crowd understood his pose and shouted more loudly saying the victor's name.

""LEO! LEO! LEO! LEO! LEO! LEO! LEO!""

Let me tell you again it's almost the middle of the night at 11:00 PM (23:00) yet in a certain street, a large crowd was cheering loudly that was formed out of nowhere just because of the two kids fighting.
