Chapter 7: Unseen Threat

The crowd was cheering from here and there on Leo's victory like he won the tournament.

Those people living near the ruckus wanted to raise a complaint but they can't as they were overwhelmed from the loud cheering.

They got no choice but only to rely on the incoming polices that they called earlier.

"Okay! The fight has been finished everyone dispersed before the polices come!"

One from the crowds that look like the leader from earlier shouted to the exciting crowd. His voice is loud enough to be heard even they are still cheering in excitement. Everyone understood what he said and run away from here.

As expected from the thugs they are all experienced in running away as almost all of them are gone from sight.

The only one who doesn't leave was Leo, and his group consists of four members from earlier.

Leo sat beside unconscious Mike while breathing deeply as he was exhausted from the fight.

He stared at Mike and smiled. "I can't believe I'm almost get cornered by this guy. *pant* Talk about intense battle this is my first time I fight excitingly!"

He shouted in excitement as he stared at the sky thinking about something.

"Leo are you okay?" Someone from the four talks to Leo interrupting his thoughts.

Leo didn't mind it and replies to the voice. "Yeah, I'm okay. As you guess his weakness is fighting head-on. Even Daniel can't handle him."

"Hahaha. He was full of himself he deserved it." A certain guy interrupted their conversation like he wants to vent his anger to Daniel who disrespects him.

Leo gets annoyed a little from the guy for saying rude things to his friend. He let it aside for now as he was exhausted from the fight.

"Well... We did what you ask for, Carlo. The deal is a deal."  Even he is exhausted he did not forget the deal from the man- Carlo.

"I know, I know. With you beating this kid into pulp the rumors would spread pretty quickly and the title of you being the strongest here will be done in a flash. Leave it to me."

"Hehehe. I'm looking forward to it." Leo grins in excitement looking forward to the fame he will get in the future.

"Well then, don't mind me," said Carlo as he walks straight to Leo.

"???" Leo is confused about what he is doing but he was sure that his intentions are bad. 

He walked passed him and about to grab Mike who is unconscious.

But he's hand stopped by the great force that holding his wrist. Leo realized what Carlo wants as he refrains him from doing it.

"Oy... What are you doing?" Asked by Leo who is still confused but somehow annoyed at the same time to Carlo.

"I'm just gonna teach this kid a lesson for what he had done to us in the past. Making fun out of us and declaring he owns this place! Aw! What are you doing this is not what we agreed for!" His face was about to turn into a sadistic smile thinking what he will do to Mike but got interrupted by Leo by squeezing his hand giving Carlo's wrist in pain.

"I'm sorry but if you are gonna beat him any further from here, the deal will be cut off. It will be overkill if you try to beat him even he is unconscious," said Leo in an angry manner.

"Hey! What the hell!? Don't give me that crap!" Carlo raised his other hand forming a fist and about to punch Leo.

Leo anticipated the punch and twisted his hand to halt his punch.

"ARGH!!" Carlo was shouting in pain and the few thugs that are still here nearby heard the shout and went straight to the voice.

"Oy, boss!"

The thugs quickly knew the situation and attack Leo who is still sitting beside Mike.

Of course, Leo who knows martial arts showed a clean hit to all of them without them touching him or Mike.

He releases his grip from Carlo and throws him colliding into his members.

Carlo and the thugs stumbled to the ground as Leo launch an attack doing a knee kick to one of the thugs that about to attack him.

But when Leo is busy beating this one thug, another thug is about to hit him with a metal pipe. With Leo who can only focus at his front, his blind spot at the back will surely be lost him at any one vs many situations.

Just when the thug with a pipe was about to hit him...it was stopped by a great force hitting his jaw making him fall into the ground.

(Daniel!)

Leo knew who it was as he is friends with him for a long time and continued to fight one another.

Not only Leo, and Daniel are fighting the thugs the other two of his team are also fighting.

There only four members to begin. Carlo just joined them temporarily for the deal that they made last day.

With their flawless teamwork, the thugs didn't stand a chance at them.

Carlo who was stumbled got back up and saw the scene of his members getting beat up one after another.

He was speechless and amazed yet he wanted them to be beaten as he orders his members to attack once more.

"I can't believe we are fighting just because you wanted to protect that kid."

"Shut up! Like I have a cold heart to ignore their intentions to that kid!"

"You guys better focus on fighting than talking, you know!"

"That kid gave me a huge beating everywhere in my body yet here I am protecting that shitty brat!"

Beating thugs left, right, back and front like it was nothing as expected from Leo's group.

However, if the remaining thugs nearby are just keep coming it will be too many for four of them to hold it back.

And just when they are about to get cornered, two certain figures appeared from the dark running straight to Mike trying to ignore the four.

The four thought that they are thugs as they blocked their way between Mike and them.

Leo takes action first by speaking to them.

"If you want to beat this defenseless kid, you need to face my fist first." said in an intimidating manner.

One of those two figures who tried to run straight to Mike is Ray and he is panicking on what will he do in this situation.

(WAHWAHWAHWAHWAHWAH!?!?!?)

He even realizes just now that they are in the middle of a fight when they are running straight to Mike.

Ray looks at the girl who he runs along with him and wanting to ask for help from her.

But the girl is silent... ignoring the four and Ray and only staring at Mike.

White skin, not muscular nor skinny, pink lip, black eyes, and her dazzling black long hair.

Her height is the same as Leo who is in front of her.

She somehow looks familiar.

The girl did not show any sign of talking back as she forces her way to Mike.

The four tried to restrain the girl but they are already at the lying ground.

They are on the ground don't have any idea what just happened.

A single girl pinned them down like their vision to the world turns upside down.

Even Leo who knows about fighting didn't know what just happened.

"!?" Ray is surprised at her action and he was frozen from fear as he just watches the girl walk to Mike.

(I've seen this happened earlier from Mike but this was on another different level! It happened in a flashed in my both clear eyes!) He swallows his saliva as he was terrified of the spectacle that happened in front of him.

No matter how high power you are or fast you are... the scene that just happened cannot be explained with strength and speed alone.

Who is this girl?

Why this girl is trying to get near Mike?

Did Mike know this girl?

If it's true, then how did they know each other? How long?

Questions filled once again to Ray's head as it was about to burst in question marks.

The girl quietly sits next to Mike and patted his head.

"Geez... What a troublesome kid you are." The girl whispers gently as no one heard her.

Ray regained his thoughts as he also walks toward Mike and the girl. At least he knew that this girl is not as terrifying as he gently patted Mike's head.

"Wahh... He received too many wounds all over his body." Ray was stunned at Mike's injured body.

Like the last time, his injuries are also deep but Ray didn't know anything about that.

"Don't worry he will be fine. Please take care Mike for now." said the girl with a gentle voice releasing her hand off from Mike. She entrusted Mike to Ray as she stands up and looks at those thugs that just recovered from getting beaten and started sprinting towards them.

The four were just about to stand up as they just regain their thoughts. They knew that the girl is not an enemy when they witness her patting his head. They were relieved that she is from their side and not to the thugs.

"Please help me clean the trashes on the street who wanted to hurt Mike," The girl talks to Leo in a gentle yet intimidating manner.

They all felt scared in a moment when they heard her gentle voice but they accepted her request at the end. (Like they got no choice.)

This fight was nothing like earlier like a sportsmanship atmosphere instead it was just a brawl.

The night didn't just stop there even is Mike unconscious.
