Chapter 3: School Part 2

[Classroom Grade 10 Section 6]

Inside the classroom, there are already several students arrived early.

The classroom was already lively even they are only a few students.

Some of the girls are doing makeup to each other.

Some of the boys are having a conversation about the anime they watched last night.

Some of them only came here early just for copying their classmate's homework.

While others are alone and didn't bother to talk to anyone.

It was already 7:00 AM and the class is about to start in 30 minutes.

The average time for the students to come to the class was also the exact time when the class also about to start. It's not late, as long the students arrive before the teacher it will consider not late.

*??? POV*

It's seven in the morning and I already arrived at school this early.

Usually, I came here at the exact time when school about to starts but since I didn't do my homework might as well come this early to copy someone else's work.

"Hey! Can I copy your homework?"

"Sure just let me copy this guy's homework first."

"Okay."

As always, all of us here who came early are just copying each other's homework.

It was quite a normal thing to do here and the teacher didn't mind it as long we don't get caught red-handed.

After waiting for 6-7 minutes, it was now my turn to copy my classmate's homework.

As I was writing down the answers, a certain guy entered the room.

I stop what I was doing and look at him.

My best friend who was absent for a couple of days is back!

I quickly went towards him to greet him.

"Yo, Mike. Long-time no see. I thought you were dead, you know."

"Uhhhh. Well, I had a high fever so I can't go to school back then."

Somewhat Mike's face is red maybe because he still has a fever.

I am his best friend so it's not weird for me to be worried about him.

I put my palm hand onto his forehead and check if his fever is still there.

Hmmm... It's just a normal temperature, he is not sick anymore. *sigh* I'm glad as I sighed in relief.

But somehow I feel a chilling air piercing through my heart.

"Oy what are you doing?" A cold tone was heard throughout my ears.

The cold tone was coming from Mike, glaring me with murderous eyes.

"Sorry, Sorry."

I quickly apologize and let off my hand from his forehead.

Mike didn't bother to reply, he just walked passed me and went to his seat at the front.

I knew Mike always gets angry when someone touches him but to get pissed to this extent.

There is only one reason I could think of.

'Someone touches him.'

Who arseholes dares to touch him!?

I wanted to shout and ask who is that foolish existence!

"Oy, Ray. Are you gonna copy my homework or not? Everyone is waiting."

As I was about to explode my deep anger someone tapped my shoulder and said to me to finish copying his homework.

"Sorry, I'll do it now."

My best friend is important but my grades are also important. I'll think about it later.

*Ring Ring* The school bell rang throughout the school.

The class is about to start.

Most of the students of 10-6 are already here in the room.

They are all just waiting for their classroom adviser.

Mike who was at the front is talking to his seatmates.

Looks like they are enjoying their conversation on something.

Mike was pissed earlier but now he is showing a lively smile and laughing with everyone at the front seat.

It was a fun conversation until the classroom adviser arrived and they all went into silence.

The adviser is wearing his usual favorite lab coat.

He looks intimidating and somehow he also looks cool.

He looks at his students before greeting them.

"Good Morning students." He greeted them with a flat tone.

The students also greeted back and stand up from their sit.

"""Good morning Sir. Lucas!"""

"Okay, Take your seat."

They all seated down.

Lucas looks at them with a satisfied look before speaking a word.

"Ahem. Since we only finished Genetic Disease the next lesson will be about Genetic Manipulation or in another term Genetic Engineering. Please take out your assignment so we can check it."

(I bet all of them are just copied one to each other.)

Most of the students take action by bringing out their homework from their bags and others didn't show any move as they didn't do their homework on time. Mike is the latter one.

Lucas expected this so he didn't react to it.

"Okay let's begin our lesson," said Lucas with a flat tone.

Lucas started his lesson and most of his students started listening to him.

Nothing much had happened that can be bothered mentioning in school.

And without realizing the time, the school is finished in a flashed.

All the students from classroom 10-6 already left the classroom except Mike who is still gazing outside the windows.

He doesn't want to go home.

(There is no point for me to go home.)

As he is gazing outside the window someone entered the classroom.

"Mike! Are you still not going home? It's already dark you know." said with a cheerful tone.

Mike turn his gaze and look at the one who spoke to him.

"I'll be going home with you, Ray," said Mike as he carries his bags showing he was ready to go home.

They both go outside the school and walk their way towards their home.

It was already dark and it was chilling outside as they were trembling in coldness.

"*sneeze!* crap my snot went into my shoe. If only I know this will be chilling outside I would bring my jacket. *sneeze!*" complaint by Ray while he rubbing his both hands to each other to produce a little heat.

"If you say it is chilling then it will be chilling! Don't ever say something obvious," said Mike with a pissed manner.

"There you again! You always get angry this is why you always got into a fight with people."

"Well, you know me. I'm only doing this so no one takes advantage of me."

"That is true but if some like a thug showed up you better swallow your pride than getting a fight with them. They don't forget the people who take pissed on them until they beat him or her."

Ray didn't stop talking and still continued.

"Did you know the one delinquent called Demon? Most of the thugs in this place wanted to beat him into a pulp but even they are many they still had not managed to beat him. I heard from the rumors that he has the strength of a gorilla or he is fast as a cheetah. He has huge muscles covering his whole body and his size is beyond 200 centimeters. If you ever meet him run away with your life!" said Ray as he tried scaring Mike.

Mike already caught his attention to Ray as he thought it was an interesting story.

(Demon, huh...)

While they are talking as they are walking towards their home some strange groups blocked their way.

They all wear the same color shirt and has a handkerchief scarf covered on their head or in any places on their body.

They are all thugs.

Mike and Ray don't have a certain communication level to talk to them so they tried silently walk passed them thinking it might work.

But it was obviously a failure.

"Oy... you dare to ignore us?"

"Hiee!!!! We are sorry for whatever we had done!" Ray immediately bow his head to these thugs begging them to not harm them.

"Hey! Mike go lower your head!" He forces his friend to bow too as he was afraid for Mike to get pissed to these thugs and cause a huge problem for both of them.

He is worried about him since Mike was just recovered from his sickness(injuries).

Ray expects Mike to silently bows down since he knows that is the best choice for them.
