Chapter 10: Kidnap

*Ray POV*

"Mike, hang in there!" 

I ran fast as I can away from this place!

Come to think of it, why is he heavy?

I carried Mike on my back so I turn my head slightly to look at him.

Now that I take a look at him there is something attached to his back.

I don't have time to stop nor to guess but it's heavy for me to carry him so I quickly deal the thing on his back.

Huh?

It's a metal bat tied in his back.

What the heck?

After experiencing more weirdness I think this is nothing compared to anything that happened earlier.

Still why the heck this thing attached to him?

Did someone tie this to him?

I quickly remove the metal bat from his back and proceed to run away and now I feel slightly light.

Not sure if those vans are coming to us because their focus is on those thugs and Sena.

I hope Sena is okay after this, but after seeing her fight I'm sure she will be alright the only thing I should focus on for now is to run away far away from here.

Run. Run. Run.

I feel hot as my body getting warmer and warmer while I'm running on this cold night.

I don't know what time is it but if I could guess it would be 11:30 PM (23:30).

I spotted a way out by running to the left at the end of the street and we'll be free from here.

(Mike, it will be alright.)

However...

*vroom*

Dammit!

As I was about to reach the left exit there is a van already blocking the way.

Fuck! Fuck! Just a little more!

There are more of them I can't run away!

Just a single one of them can capture one of those people who easily beat the thugs earlier.

Especially the muscular man(Leo) that got caught by these guys, he was indeed strong yet he got beaten easily.

I don't know what happened after two of them got captured and to the other two people from his group.

Carefully dropping Mike at the side of the wall I glare to those adults who are in black suits.

I don't have kind of strength to overwhelm my enemy nor speed to defeat my enemy but I have a power of friendship!

Yes! Power of friendship!

I'm a running athlete not one of those fighting types but If I don't fight, my friend will be in danger and I don't want that to happen!

"Wahhhhh!!!!!" I shouted my spirit of passion to protect my friend who is in danger.

I feel the power is rising throughout my body.

Hahaha no matter how many are you! You can't defeat me!

I ready my stance as I prepare to attack those who want to hurt my friend!

They are sprinting towards me with those big muscular bodies and I sprinted towards them.

I raise my fist and search for my target.

First I will defeat this guy!

This is the power of friendship!

Urrrrrryyyyyyyaaaaaahhhhhh!!!!!!!!!

*THUD!*

It was a failure.

I was blown away by the impact of their fist that went straight to my stomach not even holding back when facing someone younger than them.

Speed, and power... they all had it. You can rarely see adults who knew martial arts or adults who would raise their fist to kids yet I met both of those types at the same time in the wrong time and place!

What a great day indeed.

Blood spurting out from my mouth as I wanted to puke.

It hurts. Its fucking hurt.

I guess the only thing I felt back when I thought power is rising throughout my body was just adrenaline rush.

Mike, I'm sorry I can't protect you.

My consciousness is about to disappear as the pain is going away getting replace by exhaustion to my body.

I'm getting sleepy.

I close my eyes as I'm about to go into the deep slumber.

(Someone is carrying me onto their shoulder as I knew who it was and gradually lose my conscious.)

The night passed by as the vans quickly leave after they have done their job.

Polices just arrive after the vans leave out of sight.

The only thing left at the small street is broken lights, tint of blood, and ripped clothes showing this was a messy scene.

Despite the polices who arrive late at the scene don't know what happened, they asked the neighbors for answers. 

Still, they don't get any clear answers from them as they are only hiding from their homes.

No one could tell them what happened as others run away or got kidnapped leaving without a single clue left behind for the polices to solve or even know the main problem.

From Mike and Leo's fight to the sudden appearance of the vans it all happened too quickly for the polices to arrive on time.

The polices were still investigating what happened as the vans who kidnapped Mike, Leo, Daniel, Carlo, and the others were about to go to another place away from here.

Thus the cold night passed by.
