Chapter 28

Haggai's p.o.v

You can't go around dressed like that!! It's not respectful for a Luna!!! " i yelled out angrily. 

Yes i knew i wasn't yet forgiven and there was no longer that bond between us, but i still wanted to be with her be it as human or not, i knew i had no right to yell at her but i couldn't help the jealousy i felt, not only was she checking out Ryan every guy was half aroused with her!! How do i know? I also don't know but i felt it!!!!! 

"I am not your Luna!! You are not my mate!!" She yelled as she stood up. 

I slowly calmed down, my leg was hurting and the yelling was giving me a headache. 

"You know what? Just put on something decent" i said seriously. 

"You don't get to order me! I am now the acting alpha you are just beneath me, a lowly human!!" She yelled as her eyes glowed light green. 

I screamed out in pain when my wrist hurt, the pain generating to the whole of my body like knife's stubbing me all over, i fell down breathing in pants. 

"You easily forget who you are Haggai, allow me to remind you, you are the man i hate and despise with every living cell in my body, i want you to suffer before i kill you" she said as she sat on the bed and watched me as i screamed in pain. 

My vision was becoming blurry, i heard the door open then footsteps. 

"Stop it, you are killing him!! Don't you want him alive?" Ryan screamed out loudly. 

I felt the pain lessen then shortly my vision recovered, Ryan knelt next to me sadly. 

"Can you stand?" He asked lowly as i nodded. 

"And were do you think you are taking him?" Bella asked lowly. 

We turned and faced her, her eyes were still light green. 

"You put him on cooking duty remember? Its nearly lunch hour the warriors in training will soon want to eat something, let him cook something for them" Ryan said. 

"Alright, i will come along and watch him cook when his done with cooking he wont eat, he will clean all the rooms in this pack house, toilets, and plates even if it takes the whole night, if you fail to do that, what awaits you Haggai will be sever than what you had experienced" she said. 

Ryan helped me up and slowly went out with me. 

"You shouldn't have yelled at her, you rejected her remember? She's no longer your mate but alpha" Ryan whispered as we slowly went downstairs. 

"I know i wasn't suppose to act this way, its just that i felt jalouse, i lost it when the men looked at her with lust" i answered. 

"You are lucky you know how to cook but will you manage with your injured leg to do as she said?" He Asked as i sighed deeply. 

"I will accept any punishment and order that she gives me,i just hope she will one day forgive me" i answered honestly.

Haggai's p.o.v

The past two weeks things were looking much better for me, my leg was partially healed, i avoided Bella as much as i could, every time she met me she would either order me to starve and sleep outside or clean the whole pack house at night. 

I did all she asked without arguing, my pack members were quite but still had respect for me, they never spoke informally with me, every time Bella wasn't around they greeted me with a bow as they did those old days, Ryan was busy handling the company and pack on my behalf, we decided to stop with the illegal night work and focus on building a strong respectable company. 

Most times i saw Bella from afar, each time she looked paler than before and the rings under her eyes were getting worse, she even lost some weight, something was really wrong with her. 

I went to the training ground after making sure Bella was getting ready to sleep, i made it my daily routine every night she ordered me to sleep outside, instead of lazing around i went to train secretly. 

I walked to the training ground and found Brit waiting for someone, i moved closer, when she saw me she quickly ran in my arms happily. 

"I'm so happy you are finally here, i was usually watching you from afar" she said as i pulled back. 

"What do you want Brit? You can't be here at this hour its getting late" i said as she laughed. 

"Relax, i got you, i know you have been pent down for weeks, well I'm here to satisfy your urges and desire" she answered. 

"You can stop this now, I'm no longer alpha" i said seriously. 

"I know, and i still love you" she answered while curving her arms around my shoulders. 

Its true i was keeping it in and i needed to take it out, but i couldn't betray Bella again. 

"I'm sorry i can't, i have a mate" i said as i pushed her slightly away and went in the pack house, i found mother yelling at Bella. 

"It's been weeks, his been starving and sleeping outside! I can't let this go on you evil witch, i will be taking food to him and you will only stop me over my dead body" mother yelled loudly attracting the attention of many pack member's, Bella stood looking at her quietly, i moved closer and stood next to them. 

Bella turned to walk away when i watched her fall, before she could hit the ground i quickly caught her and lifted her in bridal style. 

"Bella" i called in fear. 

She looked at me with forming tears, i looked at mother angrily. 

"Mother you didn't have to yell at her that much! Can't you see she's not well!!?" I yelled. 

"You can't be serious son, she's the bad one here, why are you yelling at me?" She asked loudly. 

"Bella is not evil or bad, i made her into this, Bella is a sweet cheerful kind soul, i ruined her, even if she breaks me, she will always be my mate, and i think I'm in love with her" i said honestly as everyone gasped. 

I went upstairs ignoring the gasps and whispers.
