Chapter 36

Bella's p.o.v

I faced Haggai with tears then bowed lowly. 

"I'm sorry, I'm still in love with Michael, i really wanted to give us a chance, i really do like you Haggai but I'm just not in love with you, my heart had always belonged to Michael" i said lowly as i stood upright. 

He moved closer and touched my cheek gently. 

"I clearly had a chance with you then but i had to much pride, i was so blinded by power that i hurt you and messed up big time, i really love you Bella with all my heart, i want to keep you with me and kill the vampire, but as much as i would love to do that, i want you to be happy and your happiness lies with him not me" he said as he kissed my forehead then stepped backwards. 

"Go before i change my mind" he said. 

"Haggai" i called lowly when my hands was pulled by Michael. 

We ran quickly in the Forrest as i breathed heavily, i heard a loud sad howl that made my heart ache, Haggai was no longer the jerk i met at first, he was a good man, if only there was another me in this time. 

We crossed the werewolf territory as we reached the tar, Michael walked to a car and opened the door. 

"Jump in" he said as i quickly entered the passengers seat and locked the door Michael got in the divers seat and quickly started the car and took off. 

I looked at the tree's and sky as i sniffed trying to keep the tears that were threatening to fall, Michael held my hand with his free one while he drove. 

"How about we go to your parent house huh?" He asked softly. 

I looked at him then smiled. 

"No, i want us to go far away were i could clear off my mind" i answered as i looked at his still bleeding shoulder. 

"Michael why are you still bleeding, you should have healed by now" i said with worry. 

"Well werewolf bites are more dangerous to us than most things, i will heal when i feed" he answered simply. 

"Pack the car" i said seriously. 

"What?" He asked. 

"Park the car now" i said as he pulled off on the side way. 

"Feed" i said while he looked at my hand then face. 

"I will be fine Bella" he answered. 

"If you won't, i will cut my wrist myself" i said seriously. 

"Okay fine" he whispered. 

He moved my hand to his lips, i felt his fangs graze my wrist. 

"I know it will be painful so don't bother about warning me" i said as chuckled lowly. 

He carefully sunk his fangs in my wrist, i quickly closed my eyes feeling a sharp pain coming from there. 

"I'm okay" i whispered as he began to suck. 

I yawned lowly while i rested my head on the chair. 

"I'm beginning to feel sleepy" i whispered as i closed my eyes slowly.

I woke up and blinked a couple of times to clear my blur vision, i slowly sat upright and looked at the familiar room i was in, this was the same room i used to sleep in with Karelia's mother in the past, although it looked a bit different i was so sure it was the one, i quickly stood up and went downstairs. 

"Michael!" I called as i walked in the living room, i looked at the note which was on the table, I got it and read. 

Bella

You will find me at the stream

Michael. 

I threw the paper and went outside, i walked on the path that led to the stream in surprise. 

How on earth was everything still the same? I asked myself silently while i pushed through the branches. 

I froze when i saw the exact stream i used to go to in the past, Michael who was standing at the side turned and looked at me with a smile. 

"Well it took you long enough to wake up, you were so exhausted i guess" he said. 

"How on earth is this place still the same, are we in the past?" I asked confused as Michael laughed. 

"Come here" he said. 

I moved closer and stood in front of him, he held my waist and pulled me closer closing the space between us. 

"I don't want to brag but, the truth is I'm very rich, in all my years i had worked for many companies, i managed to raise a lot of money, so i did everything in my power to keep this place as it was, it took a lot of money to maintain this place and it was worth it, this place will be our own paradise from now on" he whispered as i felt my heart fluter. 

This place really meant a lot to me too. 

"So why did you partner up with me when you were so rich?" I asked out of curiosity. 

He touched my cheek and gently kissed my forehead. 

"Of course i did that so i could always be close to you" he answered. 

I smiled shyly, this was really my dream come true. 

"Bella do you remember when i asked aunty to allow me to court you and she agreed?" He asked. 

"Yes, i do" i answered. 

"I really meant what i said and i know i have to ask for your other parent's blessing, but first before that, i have to hear your answer" he said as he pulled back and went on his knee. 

I gasped when he pulled out a blue box and opened it, i looked at the beautiful silver ring which had a black stone on the middle. 

"This ring and stone was melted and made from my own blood and a witch's spell, if i tell you i cant live without you, you will take it as a joke that's why i told a witch to put a spell on this stone, Bella the day you will die is the day i too will die, this stone will bind us together forever, i will love and cherish you till death do us apart, so Bella will you please marry me?" he asked as i laughed with tears from my eyes. 

"Yes, i will marry you Michael" i answered. 

He carefully put the ring on my finger and kissed my hand happily.
