Chapter 20

Bella's p.o.v

I was so stupid, i lost the only person who truly loved me, there was nothing left for me, i stood up weakly and walked back home feeling sad, lonely, hurt and confused, i walked in my house ignoring mother and father who stood near the stairs with a smile waiting for me.

I went to my room and lay down on my bed, i really hated how i felt, i hated the past memories i had of Michael and me, all i could see in Andy was the past him no matter how hard i tried, and seeing how he rejected me hurt, i was hurting badly, i sobbed on my bed silently.

The door opened, mom and dad walked in then sat on each side of my bed, dad slowly pat my back gently.

"Honey if you want to talk about anything, we are here to always listen, you are not alone, i know you had a bad encounter with the thugs" mother whispered.

I slowly sat upright and hugged her with tears, father quickly hugged the both of us too.

"I was so scared and then i lost consciousness, if only i had listened to Andy's warning, mother it is all my fault, i took the route that led to all my sorrows, i choose the wrong road" i cried.

"It's not your fault" she whispered.

I pulled back and looked at her then father.

She was right, it really wasn't my fault, it was the fucking alpha's fault, if i hadn't met him that day, i couldn't have taken that road like a fool, he was the one who ordered my death and Andy's death, it was all his doing, i wanted him to feel ten times the pain i had experienced.

'I will make sure he forever regret ever meeting me in this life' i told myself silently.

"Mother, father, can you please let me rest, i have decided to take a trip tomorrow to clear my mind" i said softly.

"Honey, you can come stay with us for a while" father said.

I looked at him then smiled, he really was worried.

"Father thank you but i can't, i need to be strong and face this world alone, i will take a trip, it might take a week perhaps a month but i really want to, please " i whispered.

Mother kissed my forehead then stood up.

"Just be safe, if you want to come back you know your home is with us and you are forever welcome" she said.

Dad stood up with a smile.

"Should we sell this house as usual" he asked.

"Yes father, this time also sell my cafe" i answered.

"But honey isn't that place half Andy's, Isn't he your partner?" Dad asked in concern.

"He was, until he decided to live his life without a cafe to pull him down" i answered with a deep sigh.

"We do understand dear, get some rest, tomorrow i and your mother will start with the paper work" he said.

I lay down and watched them walk out of my room, there was no more going back, just going forward.
