All Chapters of DIRTY FANGS: Chapter 1 - Chapter 10

    "Mofe!!!!"I jolted awake, my head was spinning and sweat was pouring down my body, sweat was literally pouring but I paid no mind to it when I should have, Mistake number 1.             "Eww.." I was disgusted by the sight of myself and the odor of my sweat. As I put my legs on the floor and stood up, I felt a sharp pain go through my forehead then all of  a sudden it stops and I should have suspected there was something wrong but I didn't and that was mistake number 2.  I walked to the bathroom and as I got close to the mirror ,I suddenly felt 'needy' which had never happened before and I was in the university, I turned to look at myself in the mirror and what I saw was absolutely absurd , I saw two purple and glowing dots on each side of my neck, I gasped in shock, then I blinked and it was just gone , the needy feeling and the purple dots, they were just gone and although I knew that it wasn't norm

       Consumed by nothingness , that's how I felt but I wasn't scared, I welcomed it, the darkness, it was peaceful, I wanted to believe I was in heaven but I knew better than that, my eyes felt closed and yet they felt open , my lips couldn't move and yet it felt like I could speak a thousand words, my hands were dancing in the darkness, feeling the nothingness and for what felt like forever, I was just floating , not moving,not speaking, what's worse is, I was alone , completely and utterly alone, then I could hear the gentle whoosh of the wind, I could lulling me deeper into the nothingness and perhaps 'forgetfulness' ,like a sirens song, I gave in to its magnetic pull and like the siren itself, all it seeks is to devour, I suddenly felt vine like hands wrap around my ankles and wrists , threatening to tear me limb from limb,and as if that wasn't enough, I could suddenly hear voices , so many voices at the same time, crying out for help from their torment.

         I ran through the compound as fast as my legs would carry me and I stopped abruptly when I got to the front door, everything felt wrong, i don't know how to describe it but it just felt absolutely wrong and there was only one way to find out why but I was terrified of what I'd find behind that door.           'Come on Mofe, you're bigger than this.' I mustered up courage and opened the door and what I found was................... I fell to the ground on my knees, as I stared at their bodies, my parents, my siblings, all dead, their bodies battered and bloody and I couldn't help but feel like it was my fault, after all ,I wasn't at home when it happened, maybe, I was supposed to die so that they wouldn't but because I didn't ,they did instead, whatever

        I walked downstairs slowly as though I was wearing heels and didn't want to trip as I went through how I could possibly track down who killed my family in my head, I thought about my friend Rachel, I'd have to leave her behind, I don't want anything to have to her too, I thought about school, about leaving, about my life, I'd leave my whole life, everything would end, no more parties, no fun and games, I had to be clear and level headed for this , but I couldn't leave my family here, if the police found them, they'd start an investigation and that'd chase the killer further away, I don't want to alert them about anything, I want to find the killer myself and when I do, I'm going to end whoever it was that did all this. I walked to the kitchen,opened the second to the last cabinet amongst the five cabinets lined up on the wall , and took out my dad's favorite bottle of wine 'château margaux' , I popped it open and toasted to no one in particular.

             "I'm thirsty"       "You're a ghost, can it." We'd been walking on the road aimlessly for three hours and miss ghost refused to say a word except 'i'm thirsty' , seriously?       "I'm not a ghost"       "Well,will you tell me what you are?"       "Not yet"       "So when do you plan on telling me?"       "When the time is right"       "And when is the time going to be right?" 

                    ~unknown POV~~     My screams bounced off the walls as i destroyed everything in my path, everything i touched. I had failed, i had been waiting almost all my life for the perfect mission, then i was given the most important mission of all time and I failed woefully , how was i supposed to face the chief, i thought for sure that I was going to die, I had been trained to be the perfect killing machine but today i would be one to be killed and with that realization ,I calmed down.                          ~unknown POV~~ His broad grin was starting to piss me off.                     'what could he possibly be thinking of now?'          "General, please, walk with me." He turned and as he walked ,the twins doors gave way for him, I quickly followed behind him, the corridor ahead of us was dark but as we walked, the lights came on were we stepped ,as though our footsteps were the light in the darkness but as we passed a certain place ,the light would go off again, leaving only the place our feet touched at the singular moment to shine, this arrangement made it difficult to see the entirety of the corridor, so you couldn't ga

                  As soon as we got into the car, my smile dropped as a memory rushed into my head.       'I was chasing my Dad with the widest grin on my face, we were headed for the car, we were going to Shoprite and I couldn't wait until I'd be able to stuff my face with chocolate, my dad had promised me that if I could catch him, I'd drive and I knew that there was no way he'd let me drive but chasing him was fun, so I did it anyways.     He got to the car first ,open the driver's door ,got in and locked the other doors, I knew that because as soon as I got to the car, I tried opening the door to the passenger seat at the back but it wouldn't budge , thankfully the car windows were open.       "Hey ,Daddy!!!!                After our visit to Rosa, we walked around aimlessly for a few hours just going over our thoughts, Shadow said it was a good exercise for getting our thoughts together because apparently losing control of your thoughts and emotions in the supernatural realm was signing yourself a death warrant, with the way she explained it to me , what I picked up on was that it was kinda like walking into a Mafia house and telling them all that you're weak and scared which obviously would lead to your untimely death.       But no matter how much I walked around, I couldn't get my thoughts together, it was basically the only thing I had and I didn't want to get it together because my emotions were somehow rudely ripped from me, so no need for me to deal with that but my thoughts, that was the only place that I could try to think about how my emotions would have been in disarray, after all I was never one to deal with

             As I drove not a word was spoken by Shadow nor i, we had passed so many places, at this point I didn't even know where we were because I had never travelled this far before ,on my own at least ,so then I didn't care to know where I was and Shadow was not helping me out , she had no input at all, so I supposed I just needed to stick to this singular route, forward.      As I drove ,all the things I had learnt so far came into my mind. Vampires and witches exist, witches were created by a supreme mother apparently, vampires were created by 'well I hadn't figured that part out yet', there are six vampire kingdoms under a vampire nation and the Briareos kingdom apparently bred special vampires, something I am still yet to understand and lastly, I am not a human. The last one was the hardest to deal with, all my life I lived as a human, only to find out I'm a vessel that stores great power.
