            I woke up on the softest bed that I had ever slept on,my eyes opened to meet the sun rays washing over me from the windows on the two opposing sides of the wall, there wasn't much to the room, the walls were painted cream and the ceiling ,white. To the right, there were twin doors which I guessed led to the bathroom and around the corner ,close to the right side of the bed, sat a reading desk and chair, decorated with roses in a flower pot and to my left was a closed closet. The bed itself was queen sized and adorned with golden silk, the golden pillows as well were very soft.    I thought long and hard about the look of this room before I realized that this wasn't my room. I gasped.    'Where am I?' I remembered the party last night and a

           30 minutes after Mayowa left me to my thoughts, I heard a knock on the door.         'Are those the staffs?'          "Come in!" I shouted. The door opened and in walked two prim and proper ladies, they both wore white shirts ironed to perfection tucked into black fitted skirts that were below their knees but didn't quite cling to their body like a second skin and they both wore black flat shoes on their feet. Looking up, I saw their faces, their relaxed black hair packed up into a bun, they both had big brown eyes that were filled with life and excitement unlike Mayowas eyes, they both had straight noses ,chubby cheeks and downward brown lips,they were twins, that much was obvious but they looked so alike that I couldn't te

                  "One last question, did I have any wounds or burns on my body when he brought me here?" Silence, it seemed like the twins were reluctant to answer that particular question but I needed an answer, and I was going to pry it out from their mouths if I had to.         "I just want to know because I woke up this morning without any wounds on my body."         'That and I was told that I was rescued from a fire outbreak, there is no possible way that I was rescued from a fire outbreak and I didn't have wounds on my body, besides, I'm the one who started the fire and I was smart enough to leave before the fire grew, at least that's what I remember, unless they somehow tampered with those memories too.'

             Mayowa led the way out of the room with a stupid smug smile on his face that my hand was aching to slap off. The corridors were very dark , only the places were Mayowas footsteps touched would light up but not mine and I couldn't help but wonder the kind of magic it was and I was about to ask that very question when Mayowa spoke up.         "Humans were the first creations on Earth , they were created by God and there was a time when they were all good people but when malice , corruption ,evil began to creep into the hearts of mankind , something had to be done and then we....witches were created as a force to battle the evil, we were created by the supreme Mother or as you humans call her....                   "Three thousand years ago, there was a man,his name was Gbandebev, the most highly praised general in the entire witch community  and he lived here of course........one strange night, the air was thick with warnings of a coming evil, I had just had a meeting with a seer and Gbandebev about the precautions we were to take against what we did not even understand, we only knew that we had to heed to the warning. That night as everyone had gone to their rooms to sleep, I went round the coven and while I was making my way through the witches path, I saw a man trying to steal one of our relics, I rushed after him and caught him before he laid his hands on it and when I turned the thief around , I saw Gbandebev, I couldn't believe that he of all people would do such a thing but he did and I had to accept that, as his punishment ,he was banished from the coven and he was turned into a cursed creation, a vampire."

               I lifted myself from the ground with my arms and I got into a weird sitting  position against  a very tall and beautiful tree, like every thing else in the forest, flowers bloomed all around it,vines twirled around the tree, cocooning the tree in it's self claimed warmth ,my annoying white pants rolled all the way to my knees ,it was the dirtiest white pants I had ever laid eyes on right then, browns ,blacks, yellows, pinks and reds stained it and my legs were still enjoying their time awkwardly balanced on the gigantic log of wood that was the reason for my very literal downfall. I punched the ground in aggravation, I felt like I was a magnet of bad luck, the horrible things always happened to me,now I had no where to run, with how badly my leg was hurt ,I just knew that there was no point in running, I'd only fall and keep falling and that wouldn't get me anywhere except in excruciating pain, as reckless as I was, I

            I stood up from the bed and held on to the pillar that was immediately by the side of the end of the bed, I held on to it tightly as I stood up, trying to get my bearings so I don't put too much weight on my right leg, I had too hold it up and limp if I wanted to successfully get to bathroom and have a warm bath,again I was really thankful for the gymnastics classes that my mum took me for,they really come in handy.       I steadied myself on my left leg, I had one hand holding the pillar and my right hand out for balance, then I jumped, still balanced on my left leg, my left hand moved with the jump, it now rested on what from my angle would be the front of the pillar,then I removed my left hand from the pillar and steadied myself once more,I looked at the twin doors of the bathroom and calculated how many jumps it would take me to get to the bathroom. &n

         I pondered on what I had just seen, it was not a memory of mine,I knew that but at the same time, the whole scenerio just felt..... familiar. While I was pondering, I didn't notice the twins coming back into the room until they stopped right in front of me, Adebimpe holding a bowl of water, I guessed it was hot because of the steam I saw coming out of it and I hoped that they did not plan on pouring hot , steaming water on my naked body.              'But I thought she asked for warm water, were they deaf or something?' Adesola who was right behind her sister, held a folded towel in her hands, the doctor held up her hands and looked at them.        "Âhk tïo rœn dé, Âhk tïo rœn dé, Âhk tïo r&oelig

              As the twin doors flung wide open,the first thing I saw was Mayowas face and that alone removed all thoughts of how beautiful the green house was from my mind. The green house was arranged just like a wedding venue, there were five white chairs on every row both to my left and to my right,and the chairs were all filled up with people, I couldn't see anything but people for miles down my right and left side. From where I stood, there was a pathway for me to walk through leading all the way to a massive altar, the Chief stood in as the Reverend father and Mayowa stood proud, he was the unlucky groom after all. When I took one limp into the room, everyone turned took at me.        'Woah, you guys didn't turn when I flung the doors wide open but you're staring at me because I took a step in? As I said before, you all are crazy.'

           I screamed her name with my last strength and my ceasing breath.            "SHADOW!!!!" Then I slumped on the board, I had lost a lot of blood, I just knew it, I could feel my life slowly edging farther and farther away from me, with every lash that struck me,the pain in my shoulder worsened and worsened until I couldn't take it anymore, my whole body felt completely numb now, I couldn't feel the pain anymore. Another lash of the whip struck my back, and I rose my eyelids to look at the Chief and Mayowa, the Chiefs face was emotionless as before but Mayowas face was like looking at an open book, I could see so much pain written on his face as he stared at me.
