Chapter 20 Not Schemeful Enough

"You're such a shameless woman," Xu Qing said angrily.

"Oh? You're so funny, Miss Xu. President Ou and I are a legally married couple. Don't tell me that what we do in bed is somehow illegal?"

Upon hearing her this, Xu Qing's face went red. However, the redness was not because she was shy, but because she was angry.

Shaking her head, Yao Yiyi said to herself, 'Is this all she got? If this is all she managed to plot, I wonder how she got into a relationship with Ou Qingheng.' From her understanding of Ou Qingheng, a woman like her would not last long. Yao Yiyi wondered whether Ou Qingheng had simply gotten tired of seductive women and therefore decided to have a taste of innocence for once.

Having said that, apart from Yang Kexin, no other woman would able to stay by his side for long.

Yao Yiyi was suddenly curious about what type of woman Yang Kexin was. She wondered about how exactly she managed to change a cold and heartless man like Ou Qingheng into a loyal person.

"You're really shameless, Yao Yiyi," Xu Qing said angrily.

"Oh why, thank you. That is without a doubt the best compliment a woman can give to another," Yao Yiyi said.

She then continued casually, "If I'm not more shameful than you, how could I have become Mrs. Ou? Did you think about that?"

"Stop acting as if you've won. Qingheng told me that he'll divorce you sooner or later." Xu Qing looked at her and said with a hint of pride.

Yao Yiyi was caught off guard. From what she understood, Ou Qingheng was not the type of person who would tell others about this matter. Or was he?

"Even if he's going to divorce me, I think the compensation fees that I will receive will still be significantly more than yours, don't you think? Don't be jealous, Miss Xu. If you are somehow capable of seducing Ou Qingheng into marrying you, then I'm sure you'll get the same amount as I do when he divorces you later on," Yao Yiyi said with a smile.

"You!"

"Don't be angry. President Ou doesn't like women who get angry easily. He said that those types of women look like big ugly sharks."

Xu Qing's face twisted in anger as she stammered, "You... This is absurd." With that, she took her bag and left furiously.

Leaning back casually into the chair, Yao Yiyi said with a smile, "You're already pissed off after only a few sentences? You're truly too young."

After finishing her coffee, she called for the waiter and paid for the two cups of coffee. Looking at the undrunk coffee on the other side of the table, Yao Yiyi shook her head and said in a disappointed tone, "It's a pity that youngsters nowadays don't know how to save. It's hard to earn money, you know?"

She received a call from Ou Qingheng as she left the cafe. When she picked up the call, Ou Qingheng's voice rang out from the other side of the phone, "Come to the company."

After saying this, he immediately hung up the call.

Looking at the phone, a bitter smile spread across Yao Yiyi's face. In the past, Ou Qingheng might have meant to ask her out for a meal, but now, she was sure that he had called her to talk about their divorce.

Although Yao Yiyi was very reluctant to go, she still ended up going.

When she reached Ou Enterprises, all the employees greeted her politely as 'Madam Ou'. Although her marriage with Ou Qingheng was just a deal, their wedding, which was held four years ago, was still quite an occasion. Ou Qingheng had decided to spare her the embarrassment and told everybody that she was his wife.

Flashing them a smile, Yao Yiyi walked into Ou Qingheng's personal elevator in her high heels.

When she got out of the elevator, Secretary Li greeted her with a smile. "Madam, President Ou is in the middle of a meeting. He asked you to wait for a while in his office."

Yao Yiyi nodded and said with a smile, "Thank you."

As she entered his office, Yao Yiyi tossed her bag onto the sofa, sat down, and kicked off her high heels to air her feet.

Soon after, there were three knocks on the door. Putting her high heels back on, Yao Yiyi said, "Come in."

The door opened and Secretary Li walked in. Secretary Li was Ou Qingheng's other secretary, who was very adept at her job. She was also not the type to gossip or spread rumors. She was known as a strong woman who had worked with high efficiency.

Holding a cup of coffee in her hands, Secretary Li said to Yao Yiyi, "Madam, I made you a cup of coffee."

Yao Yiyi replied with a wide smile, "Thank you!"

Dressed professionally, Secretary Li then politely said to her, "Madam, if you're feeling bored, I'll go and get you some magazines to read."

"It's okay, you can continue with your work. I'll turn on the computer and surf the internet if I'm feeling bored."

"Okay. I'll continue with my work then." Secretary Li said before walking out in her high heels.

Taking a sip of the coffee, Yao Yiyi praised the woman quietly, "This coffee is superb. It seems that Ou Qingheng is indeed lucky when it comes to love to have such a beautiful secretary by his side."
