Chapter 2 Back at President Ou’s Parents’ House

Yao Yiyi drove to Ou Qingheng's parents' house after sending him to work the next day. The housekeeper, Uncle Li, welcomed her with a smile and said, "You're finally back, Young Madam. Madam keeps talking about you these days."

Yao Yiyi got down from the car and smiled at him. "How is she? I miss Mom's cooking a lot as I've been abroad for a month. That's why I'm back so soon."

Returning her smile, Uncle Li said, "Madam is in the pink of health. She's just a bit bored, as both Master and Young Master are busy with work."

"Since I'm back, mom won't be bored anymore."

"Tingting, mind your manners! You should greet your sister-in-law when you see her." Madam Ou said with a frown.

Sneering coldly, Ou Tingting replied, "She's not my sister-in-law, she's just a woman Brother ‘bought’ back."

Madam Ou's expression darkened visibly. She then said, "Stop talking like that or I'll get angry."

Thus, Ou Tingting sat down and stopped talking.

Rather than get angry at her, Yao Yiyi spoke to her with a smile, "Tingting, I heard from Qingheng that you went for a trip to Paris. When did you come back?"

Not wanting to embarrass Madam Ou, Ou Tingting reluctantly replied, "The day before."

Suddenly, she piped up in a sadistic tone, as if she had thought of something pleasant, "Sister-in-law, do you know who I bumped into during my trip to Paris?"

Yao Yiyi's guard instantly went up. Ou Tingting was sure to harbor some ulterior motives when she addressed Yao Yiyi as 'sister-in-law'.

"Did you bump into your friend?" Yao Yiyi asked cautiously.

"I ran into Yang Kexin. Sister-in-law, you know who she is, right?" Ou Tingting continued to say in an excited tone, "Oh right, I don't think you know her. She's Brother's..."

Giving her a death stare, Madam Ou snapped, "Tingting, what on earth are you talking about?!"
