I could care less if he had stolen every material possession from me and my parents, but why had he taken their lives? I should not have loved him!

Marcus Mo raised his head and gave me a light glance.

\"Finally, you showed up.”

His eyes were full of fatigue. He used to always pay attention to how he looked, but now he had a stubble and his hair seemed greasy.

Oh, definitely. He\'s been busy killing my parents.

\"What were you going to do if I didn\'t show up? Do you want to kill the rest of my relatives? Are you going to kill every last one of my cousins?”

I looked scarlet, shaking with anger.

“Marcus Mo, you know I loved you so much. Why are you so cruel to me? Why did you kill my parents? Why? Aren’t you afraid to go to hell after you die? You’ve done so many bad things, that’s surely where you’re headed after I kill you!\"

The only man I ever loved, has now killed my parents, what a ridiculous and terrible nightmare. Maybe I should have died in the car accident, at least I wouldn’t have to face this painful fact.

His eyes fell on the knife in my hand, and he laughed. My heart beat wildly as he walked towards me.

\"You think I did it? Since you hate me so much, then use that knife and stab me.\" The man pointed to his heart.

Though I had come here to kill him, I was suddenly scared and trembled as I held the knife. I couldn\'t do it.

Maybe that\'s why he is so arrogant! This man knows how much I care about him! He loves it so much when he hurts me!

I slowly dropped my hand which held the knife , but suddenly he stepped forward and took my wrist. He put the knife on his heart.

\"What? You can\'t even take revenge on me for killing your parents? Sarah, you’re such a weakling.\"

His words set off something in me.

I stabbed him straight in the middle of his chest. Blood squirted out of the wound and made his shirt red.

Marcus Mo staggered backwards, clenching his lips. There was a pained expression on his face. The knife fell from my hand to the ground.

Have I really murdered Marcus Mo?

I used to love the man so much that I’d rather die than give him up, and now I’ve stabbed him through the heart. Now he has killed my parents for Maureen\'s sake. He had disregarded my child\'s life. He deserves it!

I ran straight out, I didn’t dare to look back.

As soon as the door was closed, I heard him falling to the ground. I walked as fast as I could towards the elevator.

When the elevator door opened, I immediately pressed the first floor button.

When I got off, I saw a familiar figure appear from around the corner. It was Maureen.

I was pretty sure that she was up to no good.

\"I warn you, never let Marcus know about what I did to Down. If you do I’ll make sure you go down with me.

Down?

I wanted to hear what she was saying. From the way she has behaved the whole time we were together, I was absolutely sure she was up to no good.

My heart thumped. My intuition told me that what Maureen would say next must be very important. I took out my cell phone and quickly pressed the record button.

Not far away, Maureen continued to call.

\"Now everyone thinks that Marcus Mo did the acquisition of the Tang family. Sarah will hate Marcus for it. They will never be able to get back together. A blood feud between husband and wife, isn’t that so dramatic?” Maureen laughed.

”Hey,” she added “Do me a favor. When I went to the Tangs\' house, I lost an earring under the bed. You must get it back for me immediately. If the police find out, they might suspect me.\"

And I just stabbed Marcus Mo. But why didn\'t he tell me he’s innocent?

Will he die from losing so much blood? I couldn’t breathe, thinking I had murdered him.

I quickly turned and ran back to the elevator, but I accidentally stepped on a metal part of the floor.

\"What the fuck?\"

Maureen turned and saw me.

In a panic, I ran back into the elevator.

\"Sarah!\"

Maureen ran after me, with a murderous look in her eyes. I pressed the elevator button desperately, and saw Maureen getting closer and closer to me.

Finally, when she was just two meters away from me, the elevator door closed.

The elevator slowly went up , It was always like this, ut for me now it was excruciatingly slow. Anxiously, I paced around.

\"Marcus Mo, I\'m sorry, I didn’t--I mean I did--mean to kill you but I regret it so bad,” I said, as the indicator told me I was halfway there.
