"Nothing!" Ah Xin wanted to escape.

However, Yang Yi was in front of her, and he completely cut off her escape route. She tried to push her way through him several times but to no avail. She was no match for Yang Yi.

Finally, Gu Anran's patience wore out. She simply said, "You can go, but tonight, your boyfriend will learn about what had happened when you were 17 years old."

"When you and Gu Weizi lied to the old madam, why didn't you think that you were mean too?"

Gu Anran might seem like she was heartless at times, but she could not believe how cold she could be.

"Go on and keep your secrets. I have many ways to make sure that you'll live miserably for the rest of your life."

"Who is the vicious woman? I think you have the answer to that!"

Ah Xin was in despair; she felt like a deflated balloon. Even though she did not want to admit it, she knew that Gu Anran would have hunted her if she had not done all those things. She was no match for them, not Gu Anran, not Gu Weizi, or any other names that she did not know.

"I can't tell you." She looked at Gu Anran, and suddenly, she dropped to her knees.

Ah Xin took a breath and started to sob. "If I tell you, they would never let my daughter go. My daughter would be in danger."
