Three days later, Gu Anran was discharged from the hospital.

The doctor said that she must be well-rested during that period, so Jiang Nan allowed her to take a holiday. When it was time for her exams, then she would take them directly.

However, there was no special treatment—she would have to retake the exam if she were to fail them.

"Where's Zhanbei?" Gu Anran suddenly panicked when she did not see Mu Zhanbei.

"He had something to do, so he had to leave first. I'll take you home." Jiang Nan understood why she was so worried and smiled. "It's okay, you'll see him soon."

However, he remained by her side, like the warmest and gentlest suitor.

"Are you doing it on purpose?" Gu Anran narrowed her eyes at him when they got into the car.

"What do you mean?" Jiang Nan looked at her. Her eyes were always so gentle, no matter the time and place.

"You're purposely making it look like we're a couple in front of everyone else?"

"Can't help it. Your man has too many enemies." Jiang Nan smiled and let Wen Si drive.

The car drove out of the hospital, but instead of the Mu's mansion, it went to the dock.

"What's the meaning of this?" Gu Anran panicked, and she grabbed Jiang Nan's sleeve. "You want to send me away?"

NO! She must not leave! If she were gone, Mu Zhanbei would definitely head back to Aryastan without any hesitation! Since she was already pregnant, he should think of the child even if he did not care about her! He should not take any risks. He had to be responsible for his child!

Jiang Nan got out of the car, went around to her door, and then opened it for her. "Forget it, let's hurry. You'll keep worrying if you don't see him soon."

Gu Anran did not say anything else. She got out of the car and followed him to the cruise ship.

It was Jiang Nan's cruise ship, and it was under his name. It appeared as though Jiang Nan was traveling with his young girlfriend.

Mu Zhanbei was on the cruise ship, indeed. He did not come out to meet his woman. Instead, he waited for her in the cabin before he embraced her with a hug.

"You don't want people to know about my relationship with you, right?"

Gu Anran did not say anything else. Mu Zhanbei's words did sound somewhat reasonable. Even though she did not understand Paradise Island's boss, she knew that they were in it to make money. If they could avoid offending a character like Eldest Young Master Mu, they would certainly do their best to do that.

Wealth could only grow with harmony.

She was still in a daze, and her entire person felt like she was floating on a cloud. Gu Anran had slumbered deeply, and when she woke up, she found herself on a wide bed. However, there was no one in the room.

"Zhanbei!" She panicked and immediately sat up.

Her movement might have been too sudden as she felt dizzy, and she almost fell over. Her baby... Gu Anran instinctively covered her stomach with her hand, but fortunately, she did not feel any pain.

"Fengjin?" She froze, turned back, and met his cold eyes.

"Do you even know what he went through these past few days?" Mu Fengjin snorted coldly. He walked to her side and looked at the figure who stood proudly in the distance.

"Yes, I was the one who pretended to be Eldest Brother. I was the one who said those words to you. But have you ever thought about whether everything I said came from his heart as well?"

"Fengjin ..." Gu Anran froze, what did he mean by that?

Mu Fengjin's eyes were cold, and his voice was extremely icy!
