Chapter 5

Liam is now in the army's restaurant with Ms Bae. He knew that this woman Infront of him won't focus and talk about business. She wants something else from him. 

He could tell by how she looks at him, she was looking at him with pure lust and seductive eyes. Sometimes she would caressing his hands and bit her bottom lip seductively and wink at him. 

From time to time, he could feel under the table that her legs are teasing him by moving her one leg up and down on his legs and thigh.

He sigh. This woman. They are all the same. 

Such a slut. 

" So how old are you, Mr Owen? I heard you just broke up with your girlfriend. "

Ms Bae said with a seductive smile. His hand clenched, he hates that thought about his ex-f*cking-girlfriend. 

" Can we not talk about my personal life? We are here for business, Ms Bae."

He said calmly yet in a cold tone, but deep inside him. He wanted to choke this woman for reminding him about his ex.

" Oh, sorry Mr Owen. "

" Let's just finish this meeting so I can leave. "

He said coldly, and she nodded. Then they started their conversation about their business. 

They were discussing their company's investment, advertising, and all. He was severe all the time while talking to Ms Bae even though she keeps on seducing him, but it doesn't affect him. 

He wasn't turned on. 

" Elara what are you doing there? Focus, and do your work! "

He stilled when he heard a very familiar name. He will never forget that name. He is so sure that it's her.

Elara. 

He ignores the woman talking to him and look around; looking for one particular person. 

And there she is. 

He saw her serving some customers. That's when he realized that she is an employee in this restaurant. 

He couldn't take his eyes off her. 

He secretly smirks while checking her out. He keeps on staring at her the whole time ignoring Ms Bae who's still talking to him. 

He admires her beauty. She is such a beautiful woman, and she is so sexy wearing that uniform. 

She is so hot as f*ck. 

He stares at her body, and then he slowly looks down then he stops at her ass. 

That is a damn good ass. 

He smirks silently when he felt the beast in between his thigh started to awake. And it wants her. 

Only she can make his friend down there aroused and hard. No other women ever succeeded in making his d*ck hard. No matter how much they seduce him, but he felt no aroused and lust. 

But this woman can make him hard effortless. Just one glance at this woman and he is ready to f*ck her.

His eyes darken, and his blood boils when he saw the guy staring at Elara with lust. He was checking her out. 

He wanted to kill this guy for looking at her that way. No other men can look at her like that—only him. 

Wait. Why the hell am I feeling this way? Snap out of it Liam, you shouldn't feel this way to that girl.

He snapped out of his thought when he heard her irritating voice. 

" Are you free tonight? I can cook you dinner if you want. I'll do anything for you, Liam. "

He sighs and tries to calm himself when he felt his friend down there still hard. He then glances at the woman who was smiling at him. 

" I can't. I'm having dinner with my parents," he said coldly and the woman pout. 

" Oh, okay. If you want I can cook you some other ti- "

" No, I am busy. And I don't have time to entertain people. "

He rudely cut her off. Then his face turns serious. 

" Look, Ms Bae, I'll go straight to the point. I don't like you, I have no interest in you. You are just wasting your time, so I suggest you to stop trying because it will never work. "

He said coldly while she obviously got shocked by his words, and it is evident that she was offended and hurt. 

It took him by surprise when she suddenly got up and slap him hard, causing him to catch people's attention inside the restaurant. 

" How dare you! You are such an asshole and a jerk! I hate you, Owen Liam! The proposal is off! "

She shouted in anger then she grabs her purse and left. 

Liam sigh and ignore every people that looking at him.

Liam walk outside the restaurant with his heavy steps.

He went to his car when he felt a soft and small hand grab his left hand. 

He turns around, and it's her. It's Elara. 

" A-are you okay? "

She said in her soft-angelic voice that he wanted to hear every day. 

He didn't respond to her and just stare at her for a minute before the reality hit him. 

This woman is poor, and now she is here in front of him, acting like she cares for him when the truth is. She needs something from him. 

Wealth. 

Snap out of it Liam. She is just pretending, just like everyone woman does. 

He sighs and looks at her coldly.

" I'm fine. Do I know you? "

He said coldly, and he saw that she was caught off guard by his words. He saw the pain in her eyes, and he doesn't know why he is affected.

" Y-you don't remember me? "

She said in a hurtful voice. He shook his head. He's lying obviously. She looked embarrassed, hurt and disappointed. 

" S-sorry... I-i thought you remember me. "

She mumbled, and of course, he heard her.

" I better get going. Sorry to disturb you. "

She bows at him and turn her back at him and started to walk away. Liam just watches her back.

He sigh. This is what he wants, he wants that girl to stay away from him. But why does he feel hurt when he said those words to her? Why is the affected when he saw those pain in her eyes?

No... stop worrying about that girl Liam. It's just a one night stand. She is just a random girl that I f*cked. 

Because of what he had experienced on his ex-girlfriend. He had a hard time trusting people. It was already marked on his head and heart that women are all the same, they need him because they need his wealth.

And this woman.. is no different.

It's been a week since the last time Elara saw Liam. It's also been a week that she had talked to him, and it's still lingering in her mind of what he had said to her. It's really is disappointing that the man who took her virginity had forgotten her.

It's really hurting her.

The next day, Elara was working this morning and serving some customer when she suddenly feels dizzy. She was about to fall when she felt a hand wrapped around her, protecting her.

" Elara-ah, are you okay? "

She heard Jack asked her. One of the employees of this restaurant.

" I'm okay... I just felt dizzy, that's all. "

" Are you sure? You've been feeling dizzy for 2 days now. I think you should go and look for a doctor to check up on you. "

Jack said in a worried voice, but Elara shook her head.

" No, I don't need a doctor. I'm fine, maybe I just feel dizzy because I am lack of sleep. I just need to rest, that's all. "

She said while her hand is on her heard. But Jack wasn't convinced, she carefully walks her towards their staff room and makes her sit on the chair. Elara was about to protest, but Jack glared at her.

" No, I am going to talk to our boss and asked for your leave. " She said in a severe tone, making her widen her eyes.

No, she can't take a leave, she needs money. 

" W-what? No? Jack, I told you I'm fine. " She insisted and got up, but Jack pulls her down.

" I said no. I am coming with you, and we are gonna see a doctor today. "

" But I have no mon- "

" It's okay, I will pay for it. Let's just make sure that you are fine. "

Jack really cares for her, so she can't say no to her since it's for her own good. She nodded her head.

" Good. Now, wait here, and I'll go talk to our boss. And don't you dare run away, Elara-ah. I'm warning you."

She said in a severe face making her chuckled at her cuteness then she nodded.

Elara was lying on the bed, waiting for the Doctor to arrive with her result. While Jack is sitting next to her bed.

She was waiting patiently while playing with her fingers and looking at the ceiling. She doesn't know why she is feeling nervous. 

What if I am sick? Who will take care of my family?

She hopes and prays to God that she is not sick or else no one will support her family.

But maybe I just need to rest, right? I mean I've been working all day and night just to earn money. But if it's just lack of sleep, why am I throwing up? 

She keeps on thinking of the possibilities of why she is feeling this kind of symptoms. 

I am sure this is not just about lack of sleep and rest. I've been vomiting, and I always have morning sickness. What's happening to me? 

Then the reality hit her. She stilled, and she felt her whole world stop. Slowly her eyes widen when she realizes something. 

C-could it be?? I-i'm pregnant-

" Good morning. I have the result of Ms. bae. "

She was snapped out of her thoughts when she heard the Doctor's cheerful voice. She turns her gaze, and she saw the Doctor have a happy smile on her face. 

Oh god...

" What's the result, Doctor? Is she sick? "

Jack asked. The Doctor shook her head and smile.

" No miss. In fact, you are very healthy. I see no harm and sick in your health. "

" Well then if she's not sick, then why does she always feel dizzy? "

Jack asked the doctor smile widen even more, making her heart pounding faster in nervous. Then she turns her gaze on her.

" Congratulations, Ms. bae, you are pregnant. "

She said with a smile while Jack stilled and widen her eyes in shock.

Elara stilled, and she felt her whole world stop. She prayed every night that this wouldn't happen but here it is. It was like the reality slap her, she is pregnant with Liam's child, the guy who doesn't even remember her.

She doesn't know what to do. What will happen to her now and to her baby? It's not like she doesn't want the baby, she just doesn't want her child to experience how cruel and hard to live a life like her.

She doesn't want her child to suffer like her.

She felt tears forming her eyes. She felt hopeless.

 "Aww... it's okay to cry Ms. bae. After all, It's just tears of joy. "
