How the hell did that happen, Elara? "

Mia asked, totally confused and shocked by what she had heard.

Elara was sitting at the edge of her bed while hugging her knees as she sobs quietly. When they got home, Elara went inside her room and locked herself. But Jack was worried about her, so she called her friend.

As soon as Mia heard the news from Jack, she immediately went to Elara even though she was so shocked and confused at the same time. 

Because Elara never bought a guy to her apartment nor she never saw her with a guy before. She never had a boyfriend. So it was unexpected and shocking news to her.

So how come she gets pregnant? 

"Elara-ah, stop crying and tell me how did it happen? How did you get pregnant? As far as I know, I never saw you with a guy, and for God sake Elara! You never had a boyfriend, so how come this thing happened?! "

She said with a louder voice this time. Elara wiped her tears before facing her friend; still hugging her knees.

"This is all your fault. "

She said in a low voice, but Mia heard it. Her words make her frown.

"What? How come this is my fault? Oh come on girl, I don't have sperm, so it's impo-"

"That's not what I'm talking about! "

She suddenly shouts at her friend, making Mia shock. 

"Okay, okay... No need to shout. Geez... You are pregnant. "

She shook her head and sigh. Elara just glares at her friend.

"So tell me how come this is my fault? And tell me how did you get pregnant and who's the father. "

Elara took a deep breath before she started to explain it to her friend. She explains everything about what happened to the club except how they made the baby.

Also about what happened to her last week after she talked to Liam outside the restaurant. After she explained everything to her friend, Mia was left shocked. With her wide eyes and her jaw drops in shock.

Elara wiped her tears and pout cutely to her friend, who is still shocked.

"Now you know, this is all your fault. If only you didn't drag me at that club and made me drunk, this wouldn't happen to me. If only you were there with me the whole time and if only you didn't leave me that night with a guy. This wouldn't happen to me! "

She raised her voice and burst into tears. Mia blinks a few times to process everything in her mind. She sighed and went closer to Elara, who was crying. She sits next to her and caressing her back.

"Hey... I'm so sorry, Elara-ah. If only I knew everything would end up like this, then I shouldn't have forced you to come with me. "

She said as she felt guilty. 

"You're right; this is all my fault. "

She said in a low voice.

She knew how much Elara worked hard just to earn money to support her family but because of what she did. This thing happened to her friend. 

Elara was cautious not to make a mistake; that's why she never had a boyfriend because she knew it would only be caused a problem. So she focuses on her priorities to her family. 

But nowhere she is crying because of a mistake she did.

She wiped her tears and looked at her friend with her swollen red eyes. She shook her head and gave her a small smile.

"No.. it's not all your fault. I made a mistake too. I was the one who was willing to give it to him. and now..." 

She choked on her tears as she bites her bottom lip to not to cry again.

"Look at me. I am hopeless now, Mia. Now I have a reason to stop working because I'm pregnant. But I can't because they need my support. You know that, right? "

Mia nodded and hugged her tight, making her burst into tears again.

"Shhh.. it will be alright. I am here, Elara-ah. I will help you get through this; at least this is all I can do to help you. And I'll make sure you won't face this problem alone. "

Mia's statement made her confused, and she stops crying and look at her friend.

"What do you mean? "

She asked, confused but Mia just smiled at her and caressing her hair.

In Owen" s Mansion

The four Owen family were having dinner that night. They were silent the whole time eating their dinner.

Mr Owen, the father; first break the silence by clearing his throat to get their attention.

"Anyway Liam, how's everything doing in our company. I am waiting for good news, son. "

Liam drank his water before answering his father.

"The company is doing well, dad. I fired hundreds of employees this month, including the head of Finance. "

The father nodded. 

"I heard. So what's your plan next month? I listened to our opponent are planning to invest in our company. So what's your decision to that Liam? "

"I am not goanna accept their proposal, dad. You know how many traitors they are. "

"I agree, but I heard they would invest billions in our company. "

"I don't care how much money they can invest. I still won't accept them. "

The mother scolds her daughter, who just nodded and pout.

She said with her puppy eyes and pout cutely to Liam.

Liam sigh in defeat and ruffled his sister's hair. He can't stay mad at his sister forever.

"Aish --. Stop it you're ruining my hair! "

She said in an irritating voice.

"Next time just close your mouth, okay? Or else I won't ever give you your monthly allowances. "

He threatened, making her eyes widen and look at their mother and father for help.

"Mom, Dad.. help me. "

She said cutely, but their parents just chuckled in return. Then she turns her gaze to her brother. 

"You're not going to do it, right --? "

Liam raised his eyebrow. 

"And why would I? "

"Because I'm your only sister and your baby. "

She pouts cutely, and Liam chuckled and ruffled her hair. 

"Okay, I won't. Now stop doing that. You look uglier. "

She raised her voice, and Liam just laugh. While the parents just shook their head at their kids who are still acting like a baby.

Liam was sitting at his office room in their house while reading some reports when someone suddenly knocks on the door.

"Come in. "

He said without looking at the person who just walks inside. 

"Liam, can I have a serious talk to you now? "

He heard his mother's voice. He looked up and told his mother to sit down.

"What is it that you want to talk about mom? "

He said while his eyes are still glued at the report paper he's reading.

The mother sighed and stole the report paper that he's reading making him turn his gaze to his mother, who had a severe face.

"I said I want a serious talk. Now how can I talk to you if your eyes are focus on this paper? " 

She said in a severe tone, making Liam sigh and obey his mother. He knew how scary his mother is when she's mad.

"Okay, what is it, mom? "

The mother sigh before she started to talk to Liam, who is listening to her.

"Liam, when are you going to have your own family? "

Liam sigh and shook his head and smile bitterly. He knew that this is the reason why his mother wanted to talk to him.

He is already at the right age to start a family, but he still doesn't want to. Even though he had a relationship to Ave before, but he never thought of marrying her.

That's why his mother is always setting him up on a date.

"Mom.. we already talked about this. "

"I know.. But Liam. Your father and I are getting older. And I want to see you get married and have your own family before your father and I reached 60. "

She said while caressing her son's cheek while Liam just stares at her.

"You are already 30, Liam. And soon you will be 31. You are getting older, Liam. I want you to have a family before you reached 31. "

His mother shook her head and grab his hand and held it tightly.

"Liam .. having your own family is true happiness, son. You will know it once you will have your own family. It's is happiness when you see your child smiling, laughing together with your wife. You will understand what I say when you'll have your own family Liam. "

She smiles softly to her son before she stood up and kiss him on his forehead and left. 

Liam leans his back on his swivel chair and sigh. How can he have his own family when he is scared? When he has a hard time trusting women?

I'm sorry, ma. But that's not easy like you thought.

The next day, Liam was busy that day. He was reading some paper works, and he is typing some report that he had to finish before the month ends. 

He was so focused on his work when his secretary knock on his door and went inside his office with a few folders in his arms.

Liam sigh in exhausted as he stares at his secretary, walking closer to him.

"What is that? "

He said; pointing at the folders in his arms.

"This is from the vice president of production and administration, Mr Owen. His secretary said that they need your signature before they passed it to the Board of Directors. "

He said and put the folders on the desk. Liam read the reports before signing it. After signing it, he handed it to his secretary and leave.

But before his secretary left his office, he turned around and said.

"Mr Owen, someone wants to talk to you. She said it's urgent. "

Liam stops writing and looks at his secretary. 

"She? "

His secretary nodded. 

"Yes, Mr Owen. It's a she. "

"Tell her to f*ck off. "

He said coldly and turned his attention to his laptop. 

"Yes, Mr Owen. "

After a few minutes, his secretary came back again, making him frown. 

"She won't leave Mr Owen. She said it's crucial and she needs to talk to you personally. "

Liam rolled his eyes and nodded his head.

"Let her in. "

His secretary nodded. After a few seconds, his secretary came back with a gorgeous familiar woman.

His eyes widen when he saw it's her.

What the f*ck does she wants from me now?

"I will be outside Mr Owen, just call me if you need anything, sir. "

When the door closed, he looks at her with a severe face. He notices that she's a bit nervous. But he got to admit; she is beautiful and sexy. Indeed gorgeous. But it's not the right time to compliment this woman in front of him.

He knew she came here because she needs something from him. He cleared his throat before he starts the conversation. 

"You're the woman at the restaurant, right? "

She nodded innocently making him curse in his mind at how cute and innocent her gestures are, and it's testing him.

"What do you want? "

He said in a cold tone.

"I-I have an important m-matter to discuss w-with you. "

He raised his eyebrow, he knew it! She needs something else from him. And he never got the wrong idea. This woman is the same.

"And what is it? Come on, tell me, miss. I have essential things to do than to talk to you. "

He saw pain crossed her eyes, and it made him worried, and he immediately regretted what he said.

"Tell me what it is. "

She took a deep breath. 

"I-I'm... "

"You're what? "

She gulps hard.

"Come on say it! You're wasting my time! "

This time he raised his voice making her flinched. 

"I'm pregnant, and you're the father. "
