WE WERE DESTINED*completed*

A young lady run through the streets, her face and body were now full of her Sweat, but she doesn't mind.

She keeps on running through her destination.

She is so late!

Well, it wasn't really her fault that she forgot to set the alarm on exact 5 a.m because she was freaking exhausted last night due to her part-time job as a cleaning lady in a famous bar.

When she reached her destination, she was panting hard; catching her own breath.

Then after a few seconds, she straightens her back and checks herself on the camera of her phone.

She then walks towards the door and walks inside; she stilled when a very sharp-deadly glares look at her.

The woman in her late 40s glance at her wristwatch then at her making her gulp.

I'm dead!

She stood there in front of her boss, who was sitting in her chair while looking at her with death glares.

She couldn't look straight in her eyes. The woman sighs and leans her back on the chair. 

" Elara look at me. "

She said firmly making her do it quickly. 

" Y-yes? " she said stuttering. The woman sigh again. 

" You are my most trusted and responsible employee here in my business. "

Her voice was somehow calm, but it sounds dangerous. 

" But that doesn't mean that I won't fire you because of how much time you had waste this morning! Not just this day, but you were always late this past few months! You know what exactly time you start in your work, right?! But why can't you come on time! "

She flinched when the woman raises her voice. 

" I-i am very sorry ma'am. I w-won't d- " she tried explaining herself even though how much nervous she is at the time, but the woman cut her off. 

" No need. I am already used to your promises, Elara-ah. You asked for my second chance many times, and I always forgave you! But you still disappoint me. You made me realized that you don't deserve second chances. " 

The woman stood up from her chair and handed her a folder. She looks at her, confused. 

" M-ma'am? "

" That's your full payment for this month. Thank you for your services from my business and for being my trusted employee. And you can no longer be working in my industry. You're fired. "

She said in a cold tone and walked past her but before she reached the door Elara beg her. 

" P-please ma'am I need this job! Please... Just this one more chance, please ma'am. I need this job. I need money... Please. "

She begged with all her heart while her eyes are full of tears. 

The woman turns around to look at her with pity on her eyes. The woman stares at her for a seconds before she sighs deeply. 

" I'm so sorry, Elara-ah. You are a good employee, and I can see your determination and focus while working. But I can't tolerate your doing; business is business Elara-shi. And I won't let my business suffered just because my one employee is always late. "

She kneeled and begged her while tears are streaming down her eyes. 

"No. Please ma'am... I really really need this job. Please! "

" Elara doesn't kneel; I'm no saint. And no, my decision won't change. It will be better if you will get out of my office now and don't ever come back. "

She turned around and left her there hopeless. 

Why are you so stupid, Elara? How can you forget to set the alarm? Now you lost your job. You are hopeless.

" Hey, have you heard that Ms Neha and Mr Owens had already broken up? "

The woman whispers beside her, making the other three women gasp in shock. 

" Really? You're not joking. "

" Of course not, why would I be? "

"Mmh. I mean that's so impossible. "

" What do you mean? "

" I mean we all witnessed how much Mr Owen loves her, right? "

The other nodded in agreement. 

" Yeah, I agree. I can still remember the time when Mr Owen surprised her on her birthday. That was so romantic. "

The woman says while smiling widely. 

" Omo! Yes, I remember that one. That was so sweet of Mr Owen; I envy Ms Neha that time. She was so lucky to have Mr Owen. "

" Yes, I agree. But why did they broke up? They are the sweetest and perfect couple. "

" And you could see how much Mr Owen loves her. "

" I know, but why the heck did they broke up?! I wanna know the reason! " the woman shouted.

" I think she left Mr Owen because of his attitude. You know how evil Mr Owen is. And I guess she left him for good. "

" Well, good for her. I think she found out how evil her boyfriend is. Oops! My bad, I mean her ex-boyfriend. "

They all laugh and continue their topic without even realizing that the person they were talking about was already behind them the whole time. 

" Serves him right! That's his karma for making all of us suffered. He deserved it. "

They were laughing aloud while the man behind them listen to their whole conversation with no emotion on his face. 

Then one of them saw him. 

"Erhm. I think you should stop now. " the woman said nervously while glancing at him then back to the woman who was talking behind their boss's back. 

" No, I won't stop. I have more words to say about evil. " 

" Trust me, you should stop, or you'll regret it. "

" Why would I regret it? Duh! Even if he is here, I will still tell him how rude and evil he is! "

" I know! So just shut the f*ck up! "

" No you shut up I still want to talk shit about that coconut- "

"Who you calling coconut? "

The deep and firm voice of a man stops the woman's words making all of them stilled. 

" Come on. Continue your 'talkshit talk'. I want to hear more. "

The woman gulps hard as she started to Sweat. 

" Turn around. "

The woman slowly turns around then she was welcomed by her boss cold eyes. 

"Mr Owen? "

Liam a.k.a the owner of the Crownfield Company; put his hands inside his pocket with his still emotionless eyes. 

" Continue your conversation," he said coldly making a shiver run down their spine. 

They all look down; they couldn't stand his cold eyes. It was killing them. 

" I dare you three to talkshit more about me. I dare you. " He said firmly. 

" M-Mr. Owen, I. I apologize- "Mr Owen cut her. 

" Stop. I do not want to hear your apologies, Ms Bae. Please pack your things and get out of my building now. "

" S-sir I am sorry ple- "

" Get out of my sight before I lose my temper. " he then glances at the two women who are looking at him with fear in their eyes.

"And you two, get out of my building. You are all fired. "

He said in a cold tone then he leaves the three women dumfounded.
