As they head to the airport, Cass forgets to do something important.

"I need to talk to my lawyer. I'm going to sell our unit and car here." She announces. "We can't just leave things here just like that, people will get suspicious."

"Make him come to Korea talk over those things, milady." Sebastian answers. "Perhaps we can even let him join the gang."

"No need. I'll call him later."

Clyde keeps on staring at Cass like she might disappear if he blinks just once.

"I won't disperse in wind, dad. I'm here." Cass mutters.

"..."

The silence continued until the group reach the airport. Truth to be told, the silence was an awkward thing for Daniel and Charles. Cass wasn't the usual silent type; she can be a normal person sometimes, if it's needed. But her silence is different from this one.

It's like they are anticipating on something that they don't know.

And to figure out what it is, they should look at Clyde to know what would it be.

Sebastian was about to talk his way inside the airport when Charles talked. It gave him a silent sigh of relief, since he will manage to talk, even it's for a bit.

"Just wait here, sir Sebastian. The plane is on the way as we speak." Charles steers everyone to another direction instead of doing the protocols inside the airport.

As what Charles said, the plane came. And it stops in the middle of the way instead of standing beside the building.

The plane is made for both speed and comfortability; a business plane. Good for people who want things done immediately for the whole day for business matters.

"Here's the plane. Just tell Charles where we will land." Cass tells Sebastian, his mouth open like a door. Still in disbelief that Cass affords to buy an aeroplane.

A steward guides everyone inside the plane. Sebastian, still under the impression of the vehicle, can't believe he's seeing it with his own eyes. It's like he had won a treasure that will be committed to his memory as long as he's breathing.

"Stop gawking and get a seat, Sebastian." Cass is getting annoyed at the expression that Sebastian makes. If he had made a school, getting a plane should be not a big deal to him, but with his expression, it looks like he wasn't spending much to buy the things he might need it in case.

"So, where are we staying, milady?" Charles asks her.

"In ******, Korea." Sebastian answers in her stead.

Charles nods in recognition and went to the cockpit.

In just two hours, they're already in Korea. And it's spring that time. So it's about cold climate.

Sebastian and Clyde already left the plane when Cass reminded Charles about the plane.

"Charles, tell our branch company that we'll be here in decades, so the plane will stay here. I'm going to buy you a house near. Got that?"

He salutes then winks. "Yes, milady!"

They travelled on foot. Which is the simplest term, using the rooftops of tall buildings to reach the neighbourhood of Sebastian. And it's darn far from the airport.

They all stopped in a modern architecture house. Sebastian stops and turns towards them and bows. "Welcome to my humble abode, young lady."

Clyde holds the knob. But he didn't turn it.

"How many aristocrats are residing with you?" Cass asks. She senses faint presences of aristocrats within the perimeters of the house.

"There's a three clan leader and the grandson of Galinde," Frankenstein answers with honesty. "And three enhanced humans."

"Where are they?"

"All here." A lively voice answered from the balcony. The guy has a red streak in his bangs, covering his eyes. Beside him, there's two male.

Obviously, they're the enhanced humans that Sebastian mentioned.

"There's no class during weekends. That's obvious for high school." Still cheery, he answers.

Cass ignores him and glances towards Sebastian.

"I want a personal house here. I don't want to overcrowd your place."

"No." Sebastian and Clyde both reject the idea.

For the record, they both speak at the same time. The first time in her memory.

"Master needs you. We three knows about that, right?" Sebastian said. "Besides, there's plenty of rooms here. I can accommodate up to thirty persons."

She glanced at her dog, being carried by Daniel. He doesn't seem to care, being used to living in different places every ten years.

Clyde opens the door and gestures at them to go inside.

The place was spacious compared to the exterior of the house.

He then grabs Cass' shoulders and steered her towards the sitting room where there's a girl and three boys sitting and not talking.

They're about to stand up and greet when they saw Cass and Clyde standing behind her.

Then Clyde pulls Cass towards the chair to sit as he sits at the middle. Shiro jumps to her lap to take a nap. Sebastian remains standing behind Clyde and Cass, then four aristocrats sitting opposite them. Charles and Daniel took an ottoman as their seats. The enhanced humans are also there, standing behind the youngsters.

And the million-dollar question came from the frail-looking brown-haired emo kid beside the silver-haired girl.

"Who are you?" The question isn't expressed as a question, but a snarl.

"Watch how you deliver words, young man," Cass snarls back. "If my father doesn't mind your attitude; I do."

The young man takes back. Not even the eldest aristocrat dared to scold him with his attitude.

The girl with silver hair takes a short look at her and thought deeply. "You look familiar. Have we met before?"

Cass smiles. "Perhaps being away for almost 800 years in the island has made you forgot me, my little moon?"

"Lady Elise? Is that really you?" The girl is surprised to see her warden who had taught her how to fight elegantly.

"Indeed, my little moon. You've grown into a fine young woman. I suppose this little guy beside you is your ward?" Cass looks at the guy with a styled black hair with white highlights at the side of his head, staring and criticizing her.

"Yes, Lady Elise. He's under my wing for now, until the Lord or his grandfather says the period is done."

"My, my," The cheery guy interrupted. "It's a reunion!"

He earned a glare for Cass' friends and a sigh from Sebastian. But Cass ignores him.

"From the Lord, huh. How's she, Diana?"

"Maintaining the peace of the island, Lady Elise, like what the previous lord had done."

"She should get a husband and kids now," Cass suggests. "Her role as your Lord is important: she also needs a successor for the role."

"Then, have you found your partner, Lady Elise?" Diana asks.

The question caused something that she almost regrets asking. Charles mood plummeted enough that at one small trigger will make him blow out.

"There, your answer." Cass gestures at Charles whose mood is at worst state. "That figure is irrelevant for me, as of now. I still have some matters to do, now that my dad had found me."

A small chuckle is heard from Sebastian's mouth. "Milady getting a partner? Are you getting soft now?"

"Well, compared to you, I at least experienced to have a lover, experiment maniac."

A cough from Charles made them look at him. His mood went bright at the remark. "Who would have thought that Cass would talk back like that?"

Sebastian, receiving the insult, smiles wryly. "Milady has been like that since I came to their household."

"It's more like, trespassed, Sebas," Cass corrects him. "We know that you barged to our house just to hide. Stop twisting things to your favour, old man."

"Are you talking to yourself, being old, milady?" Sebastian returns the insult.

"Huh, says the immortal human. Wise age for a human, you should be a bag of dust and bones, buried somewhere. But you are here. Compared to us, sorry if I might offend someone, we enter eternal sleep and pass our powers.

"But you guys die, the only thing you can leave is memories, perhaps the bones, if the process of ageing spared it," Cass explains.

"Technically speaking, we're not humans. But you," Cass points at him, then to the enhanced humans. "Were born as humans. Also, you did something to your body to achieve your freaky powers, that also made you an immortal today. So don't go snarky on me, you won't get away no matter how hard you try."

Sebastian's face twitch. He had almost forgotten how sharp her tongue is. As their separation happened a long time ago, he had a bliss of freedom from the brutality of Cass' words. "You refused that I should get another house near here. Deal with it."

Noiseless chuckles are circulating inside the sitting room. From Cass' company to the team of enhanced person. Their days can be more lively now. At the arrival of the daughter of the master of Sebastian.

The Duke's Daughter   CHAPTER TEN

"Hello, my dear."A deep voice sounded behind Cass, making her stop on what she's about to do. It was the voice of her beloved person once, but now it's full of evilness compared way back when she had met him."What are you doing here? I told you before that I will kill you if you show up your face." Cass says with a grave face."You're hurting my feelings, ma cherie. I told you that I will come back again, right?" Jason says cooly."No," Charlie's voice spoke behind Jason. "For a murderer, how dare you show your face to her? To us? Are you asking for death?"Jason smirked.
