A voice that had been etched deep to her soul. Her father's voice.

"...Long time no see."

Cass turned towards her father. Looking at her father, she noticed that compared to her father's previous complexion, it's pale in comparison. "What happened? You used your soul weapon again, didn't you?"

Her father just looks at her. Cass knows that her father won't say anything, after all she understand him more than anything. They are the same but different. She had changed her perspectives in life when she left her home

"Michael is dead," Cass' father, Clyde, said.

"He's with his daughter. And wife." She answers. When they both found out that year that Michael's daughter, Alaina, died from the war between two countries, a victim of the war.

"I killed him." Clyde confesses. "So that he won't hurt all humans that day; we fought jntile we are both exhausted and weak from wounds."

"He's on the verge of insanity and darkness. There's no cure on that. Only death can save him. Just like the others." Cass pulls the drawer's handle, takes a dangerous weapon inside it and tucks it inside her boots. "I've seen cases like that. I even tried to save them, but if their willpower is weak, it's futile. Uncle Michael gave up because he lost his daughter. He lost a cause to live and move forward. It's a lost cause, unless he find something to make him alive—a motivation."

Sebastian looks at her, surprised at her changes. The Cass he knew is not the Cass they are looking at right now. She's a woman who can handle her ground and explain what she wants to say.

"Just like Sebastian. He knows what I'm talking about. If your loved ones or someone who's close to you died without reason on other's hands, you'll lose your rationality. Am I right, Sebastian?"

Frankenstein scoffs, obviously that Cass hit a sore spot on him. A sore spot that will remain as memory for him, now that he had find a reason to not be eaten by insanity and the greed of his own powers.

"They become monsters, thirsty for revenge and death. Wishing that the lives they took will revive them. But it will not. It will only cause more trouble, create a bigger chaos and start something horrible that will cost thousands of lives."

Clyde continues on staring at her before Sebastian asks. "What about you?"

"Facts. I don't believe too much on the words of the witness. Especially if they're emotionally wrecked. They might not see it in full details and they might think someone died. And information gathering is an easy task.

"But in your case dad, you won't die not fighting back. Our responsibility is our reason to fight. That's why I'm pretending to be a human, to know why we must protect them. Amd I had found one, and I learned it the hard way, at the cost of someone's life too."

Sebastian seems like amuse at her answer. "So it's settled then, master."

"Wait, what's settled?" Daniel butts in from the conversation.

Cass looks at her father, while Daniel was looking at Sebastian, demanding for an answer. And they already have an agreement before they came here.

"You're coming with us ... to Korea. And study together with Master." Sebastian announces.

"Wait, what?" Daniel blurts, disbelief is written in his face. "No, Lady Cass is studying here at college. She can't just leave just like that!"

Cass didn't speak. Her expression shows neither agree nor disagree on her decision.

"Lady Cass, what about your study? Sir Charles' work? If we leave, do we need to start from scratch?" Daniel asks.

"Actually, we can, Danny," Cass said. "Our papers is always ready, once we decided to leave, we just need to give a signal, and our traces will be gone. As for your work, you also don't need to worry, you can just ask them to send you to the company who has shares with it, things will work out on our way. So don't fret much."

Then she turn towards Sebastian. "But how did you find me in here? I made sure no one will know where I am currently."

Sebastian made a bow gesture. "Tracking you is indeed difficult for us; we need to talk to someone to know your whereabouts. And it lead us here. As for the exact location, it took us a week to know where you are."

Cass sighed and walked to the kitchen to boil a water and set the teacups Daniel followed her and took over the kitchen, forcing Cass to return to the sitting room and face their visitors. "I suppose, playtime is over for me. The real reason I left the island is already a mission complete. No more reason for us to stay here. But why there? Sebastian, why did you choose to stay there?"

"Well, I have a school there and company. When master woke up,he assumed to be one of the students of my school, and he decided to stay there after he found some kids to protect." Sebastian explains.

The topic of her own dad befriending several brats made her raise an eyebrow. But on the other hand, she also befriended one, so she wouldn't dare to ask why.

"Well, that's a news for me. Are they nice? Or your regular loud brats of this generation?" Cass asks. She's nitpick, compared to her father who just accepts it just like that.

"They are a lively bunch, always spending their time at my house." Sebastian tries to hide the annoyance of noise, but Cass can still detect it.

Daniel returned with a tray of tea set, the smell of citrus invades their noses, making Sebastian smile. "Milady, are you using your own flavour?"

"No. This one is close to what I drink. Tolerable," Cass poured at the cups and gave it to them one by one. "I can't go back to the island yet. As much as I want to, I can't just barge back when I already sworn that I won't return, unless it's a matter of life and death."

Clyde accepts the cup and slowly sips, satisfied. "..."

Seeing the satisfaction on Clyde's face, Sebastian isn't worried. "So do you need any help, milady?"

"Where's the enemy, Cass? Did you killed them?" Charles barges in the room, disrupting the harmonious reunion of the father and daughter. "Oh, it's Cass' father. Sorry to intrude."

He's about to turn around when Cass speak. That order made him glad after having a rough day today. His smile is so wide that it might have stretch to his ears if possible.

"Prepare the plane; we are leaving today."

"Ooooh, roger that. Should I call them to fix it now?" His enthusiasm is so blinding, like he's ready to do everything to make his day better.

"Danny can do that for us." Cass replies as she stand up from the sofa. "Tell your CEO my name, and he'll gonna assign you somewhere for their branch. You don't need to worry much about your job, Danny."

"Me? How am I'll be able to do that?" Daniel points to himself, stupefied.

"Yes, you kiddo. Go now, it's really simple. Just tell them where we are going, and they know what to do," Charlie went to Daniel and pats the latter's shoulder for assurance. "They are easy to talk."

Leaving without any choice, Daniel went to Cass' room and takes the number that she had already told him once.

"Do you need to bring anything important, milady?" Sebastian asks.

"My clothes, obviously. Are you expecting something?" Cass wasn't stupid to know what the underlying message from Sebastian. "The things we need can be bought when we reach there. I don't like carrying much."

Sebastian clears his throat, clearly embarrassed that his teasing backfired. "Milady, should I help you?"

Cass ignores his question and asks him back. "How many months has it's been since dad woke up?"

"About 3 months, milady."

"Did you bought him clothes? Or he's doing that again?"

"Uhm..." Sebastian is hesitating to speak. The conversation went the wrong way, and he feels that if he say a wrong word, everything will topple down.

"Don't get started with helping me when you can't even help Dad with his necessities." Cass glare is scary, to the point that her powers look like it will devour someone. She wants everything to be perfect for her beloved father whom she had just reunited with.

"...stop." Clyde interrupts her.

"And you, my dear father, will get every clothing of this era; and I'm not saying that you need a simple one, but all styles of clothes, not sticking to that uniform of your servant. Objections are not allowed." Cass whips her head to her father, sternly saying that like scolding their child. "And when I say all, I mean ALL."

Sebastian only sighed in defeat, since he is also at fault too. And when Cass decided something, no one can stop her, even her father.
