CHAPTER SEVEN
Author: NightshadeIt has been a few days since Cass and her company had resided to Sebastian's place. Daniel reported right away the next day of their arrival. And resume his position to the company. Charlie went back to the airport to hide the aeroplane they use to somewhere that only Charlie and Cassielle knows where.
As she had said, she didn't want to attend high school together with her Dad, since she has other matters to attend to. But today, she tells Sebastian that a certain person will come to the house, and it's her employee.
"A tailor will come here upon my request. So if you also want a set of new clothes, go to the tailor, she'll know what to do." Cass told at the breakfast table together with the others.
"Lady Elise, are you sure you don't want to attend school with us?" Diana asks.
"My little moon," Cass starts to explain. "I'm taking a college degree when Sebastian and Dad decided to take me back. If I use those credentials, normal people will be shocked as to why I need to go back to high school when I'm about to get a degree? Besides, I also have a flight in four days to Paris. It's one of the reasons why the tailor is here."
"You have work already?" Sebastian asks.
"She's already a war doctor 80 years ago, and you have a school. Wouldn't that be quite unfair if she doesn't have work?" Charles pointed out while frying some eggs.
Clyde is staring at Cass, waiting to know what is her work. Cass plays with the food until she gives up. "I own a boutique. An international one at that."
"So that's why you want master to have every clothes?"
"So what? Dad has been using polo blouse ever since I was young. And giving him a norm of the society, lots of it won't hurt me or your money or your reputation. If he wants to blend in with humans, getting normal clothes is one of the steps. He can't just go walking around wearing that, even while fighting." Cass says.
"So you three," She points towards the young aristocrats. "Get more clothes. And also you four who handles security. Wearing a suit for a week is a bit flashy. Don't worry about the expenses, I won't ask for anything."
"You're being freaky again, milady." Sebastian comments.
"Diana, get more dresses. I'll tell the tailor to suit it for your comfortability, in case you need to fight," Diana nods in recognition. "Also, who will take care of Shiro if I go to Paris?"
"We can take her as dog guard of the school too." One of the enhanced human volunteered.
"Well, I don't mind you guys brought him. Just don't touch him too often, he hates it." Cass reminds them.
"So you should stay here today and wait for the tailor to come. Since she'll be here on time, as always."
No sooner, a ring from a doorbell sounded inside the house. Sebastian went to the door to see a young lady wearing jeans and a white shirt. And a backpack is slung behind her. "Is Lady Elise here?"
Sebastian opens the door wider to let her in. "Milady is expecting you. Please come in."
The woman looks at the interiors of the house as she walks to the living room. "Lady Elise, are they the people you mentioned over the phone?"
Cass smiles and points at the person she will describe. "Arturia. It's them. Make clothes for my father. All kinds. As for them, make a nice dress for this young lady, for easy mobility and combat. As for those guys, they need comfortable clothes too for everyday use when out for work. Then these two young men for their everyday use plus a few formal clothes."
"How many days you want it to be sent here?" Arturia asks as she notes who is who for the clothes.
"I prefer it ASAP, especially for my dad. But deliver the things you can manage to pull out," Cass answers. "Since we will fly off to Paris in a few days, I need to concentrate on the fashion week."
"Roger that," Arturia pulls two big booklets inside the backpack she had brought. "The models for the fashion week is here; the combination of the dress and matching them is what we need for completion."
Cass reaches out to the object and opened it. "Sure, give me a few hours to sort this out. I'll leave you guys here."
A silly smile crosses at Arturia's face when Cass turns her back to them. "So, shall we start?"
Sebastian decided to follow Cassielle to the dining room, quite curious about what she is holding.
Since the table has been cleared, she can lay down all papers and clothes for the matchups after she sitsdown.
"What are you doing, milady?" Sebastian made his presence known.
"Working, obviously." Papers on the table are moving so fast like it was being shuffled around like playing cards. "Usually, we give the clothes to the models on-the-spot, and the audience likes how that model delivers the clothes just being themselves like their personality is their clothes."
Sebastian took a peek on the pictures of models with their whole body, resume-type picture. Her hands are flying as she tries to pair up the clothes to the picture of the model and try it with another one. "How do you know it will suit them?"
"I just do; I have enough interactions with them before, and I'm just trying to know which one will suit them with their personality and figure." Cass never bothered to look at Sebastian who was staring at her doing her work. "Usually, I'm not the one who usually do this; it's Arturia, and she just calls me to check if her decision is good. I only attend the walk if it's on an international basis, I know they can handle it for me if it's for overstate."
"And why did you choose to be an owner in the fashion industry? Your friend has mentioned that you were a war doctor." Sebastian asks.
"The sole purpose of me becoming a doctor that time was to find Dad, and at least try to alleviate his long-time health issue," Cass answers. "And coincidentally that time, world war broke out. I have no desire to return to the island since Dad is missing out here somewhere. I have no time to think of what should I have chosen when I'm desperately looking for him. You know what I mean, Sebas."
Sebastian didn't speak after that. "Also that time I decided to become a doctor, things happened, tragedies occurred. Everything was a mess, it was chaos. Even me who was trying to do my job as a doctor was in turmoil. I fell in love with a human, Sebastian. Not to an aristocrat, or even to an illegitimate of any clans, or to their servant; but to a being who might disappear anytime, fragile and stupidly brave for his own good. Then everything went down to drain, it cost my best friend and Charlie's wife's life. It's so horrible that even I who has been used to fighting, cannot believe that it happened."
She started to collect the papers she needs to find another model to walk it up on the runway. "Milady, your feat is quite different from humans. You cannot just give it the instant as they will walk the runway. They need to prepare."
"Sebastian, do you know what's the motto of our clothing?" Cass asks as she puts the papers back to one of the booklet. "It's 'Caught Unprepared.' We make sure that the clothes are comfortable, even if you try to mix and match them."
"Caught Unprepared," Sebastian ponders where he had heard it. "It's yours?!"
"Well, you're also caught unprepared too, eh?" Cass chuckles. "No matter. The models know how eccentric Arturia and me when it comes to thing like this. And they still dared to work for us. Also, we give what they deserve: they are worthy to be our models, so they are worthy to have what they desire."
"You know how to joke now," Sebastian looks amuse at her. "But you still have your poisonous tongue."
"When you walk side by side with humans, you will learn a lot from them," She stood up from the chair and held the books. "And i think you haven't learned anything, despite you being a human."
She walked towards the group who's being asked for their opinions with their clothes. Clyde was just sitting there calmly, looking at the group while sipping tea.
"So, how is it?" Cass asks Arturia.
"Well," Arturia's eyes are twinkling like stars. "You and your father are indeed family; both of you have a unique taste when it comes to clothes. Can I ask opinions to him next time for the male attires?"
Cass laughs at Arturia's request.
