Marcus Mo knew how to exploit my weaknesses. I opened the door, went out and then quickly closed it behind me.

Outside the door, I coldly looked at Marcus Mo and stretched out my hand to him.

\"The necklace?\"

\"You won\'t even let me in. Is there some random guy in there? Is it Tom?” He sneered as he said my new husband’s name.

I found it really offensive that he called Tom a random guy.

He wrapped his hand around my neck. I took a breath and said to Marcus Mo in a cold voice,\"Random guy? Tom, he\'s not a random guy. He\'s my husband now. You know, after you divorced me to be with your own sister.\"

He was seething in anger.He tightened his grip on my neck.

\"Say it again.”

I coughed violently.It was difficult to breathe.

\"I said that Tom and I are married. As soon as I divorced you, I couldn\'t wait to get into his arms!\"

The truth was, my heart was still longing for Marcus. That was what I really felt. I promised myself that I wouldn’t be confused but as he stood in front of me, my heart wanted him to treat me the way Tom treated me. I’ve seen him give his sister so much affection, while he’s only given me pain. Or cold treatment.

My vision began to blur.

How much did he hate me that he could hurt me like this?

Clearly, he hated me very much. Why did he need to come after me? Suddenly, Marcus Mo let go of me then proceeded to punch the door behind me.

The door shook. He turned around, strode to the opposite side and slammed the door heavily!

I gasped and looked at the closed door opposite me. I sat there for a long time, trying to recover from what just happened before I went in. What on earth does he want to do?

Joy’s little voice \"Mom, didn\'t you say we’re going to visit my grandparents today? Why don\'t you come back? \"

I lay slumped by the door, looking at the closed door. I felt weak with fear.
