Chapter seven

07.

    XARA. 

   I didn't see anything wrong in being naked. Normally I'm the mermaid world, we're almost naked in our mermaid form so what's so wrong about this one? And besides he was just gonna tell me something and leave.

   "I didn't know.. I just want you to help me with something "

   I muttered lowly and he breathed out. 

   "Yes, I'll help you with whatever you want but can you first put on a shirt or a towel, anything? Just cover yourself up "

   He blurted out and I walked into the bathroom, grabbed a towel and wrapped it round my body then walk back into the bedroom. 

   "Yea, I'm covered Now. You can turn back "

   I rolled my eyes and he turned back slowly, he stared at me for a while before his gaze met mine. 

   "What do you need? "

  He asked breathing out and I sighed .

   "Yes, um.. I need help with the shower. The thing is not working and I don't know how to turn it on and I really need to bath. I feel dirty, I know that's kinda awkward since I'm a mermaid but you know I'm in the human world and not under the sea anymore so it's totally fine to feel dirty. 

I mean when I'm always under the water, why will I need to....."

    "Fuckin Christ xara, just shut it! "

  He snapped and I stopped talking immediately.

   "You talk too fuckin much and it frustrates the shit outta me. I asked you what you need help with, not for you to tell me history about something I already know ."

  He muttered and I nodded, my head hung low. 

   "Come, I'll show you . "

  He muttered and I nodded as we both walked into the bathroom. 

    "Here, you just have to twist this metal button to turn it on or off. Twist it to the right for on and left for off... "

 "... And if you want the water cold or hot, just press these buttons. "

   He explained and I nodded, smiling at him. 

   "Thanks Red "

   I muttered and he scoffed before wanting to walk out but he accidentally collided with my body and I almost fell down but he caught me, my towel felling off in the process. 

   My eyes widened as I quickly hugged my body to his. What if he gets angry again cause I'm naked? 

  "Are you trying to hide your body by hugging it to mine? That's a crazy temptation you know your nipples are poking my chest right now "

  He chuckled and I hugged him even tighter. 

    "You might be angry if you see me naked again "

   I uttered and he chuckled again. 

   He has a beautiful sound. 

    "Just pick up your towel "

    "But I will fall "

   I argued and he breathed out before standing up straight with me then facing the other side. 

   He grabbed the towel and stretched it to me, still not looking and I took it before wrapping it round me. 

    "I'm done. "

   I muttered and he turned back, gazed at me then walk out of the bathroom. 

   I sighed and entered the shower, turning it on. The water feels so cold against my skin and I let my body relax in it. 

      RED.

  She's crazy. In fact, more than crazy. She's clumsy and so clueless. Ignorant yet so innocent. Talkative but cute when she's all talky. Scary when she's angry yet looks so adorable when she is calm. She is really a lot of things. 

   I walked downstairs and met Pierce talking to someone on the phone. 

   I took my seat across to him and raised my brow at him but instead he smirked. 

   Fuckin bastard!

   He dropped the phone and turned his gaze to me. 

     "I think we've got a little clubbing to do. "

   He winked and I stared at him, bewildered. Like what? 

    "Yes I know you're surprised. Anna called me and surprisingly your little buddy Blake decided to show up and is at your club down the street right now. According to anna, he wants to see you. "

  He muttered and I smiled faintly. 

   "So he finally decided to come out of his hideout? "

  I smirked and he nodded. 

    "But I can't go now. I haven't even had a fuckin decent meal. I need to get a cook. "

  I growled and he chuckled. 

    "Don't your little bitch you're keeping with you know how to cook? Besides are you gonna risk this golden opportunity for your petty stomach? "

    He smirked and I glared at him which somehow made him chuckle. 

    "Easy for you to say cause you ain't the one who's going to fight empty stomach "

   I growled and he shook his head. 

    "Stop whining like a baby Red, we'll stop by a restaurant on our way  that's if  you can handle the crowd you're gonna pull "

   He shrugged and I sighed. 

     "The fuck I hate attention "

I sighed and he chuckled again. 

      "Blame yourself for being so hot. "

   He winked and I chuckled before getting off my seat to go dress up.

   "Where are you going? "

   Xara asked me immediately I got out of my room. 

    "I'll be back. Anna will be here soon, if you need anything let her know "

    I uttered and she pouted. 

     "Can I please follow  you wherever you're going? "

    She pleaded and I rolled my eyes. 

     "No, you can't. Just stay here "

    I ordered. 

     "But... "

     "You're not coming and that's final Xara. You're staying here! "

   I snapped and she stared at me for a while before walking away, angrily I think. 

   I walked downstairs to pierce. 

   "Let's go. "

   I muttered and he nodded, standing up. 

    "You think we need guards? "

   He asked and I smirked.

    "Depends on what he's here for. Let me just meet him first. "

   I sighed and we both walked out. 

        XARA. 

   I'll be back. I'll be back soon. Stay here xara. Don't follow me .

   Those were his exact words before he left. Fuckin asshole! 

   Such a dickhead! 

    He promised to be back since and it's already 11:30pm and he's nowhere to be found. 

   I grumbled and settled down on the couch. Stupid Anna whom he asked to take care of me already left five hours ago. Bitch won't stop taunting me, I think she likes Red or something? 

  What's even my concern with that one? She can go to hell for all I cared. 

  I don't even know why I'm concerned about red, I just can't sleep. Probably cause he's the only reason I can survive in this stupid human world. 

    I groaned and took my eyes to the clock. 11:35.

   I'm so angry I don't have that human machine they call phone right now, would have called the hell outta him. 

    I breathed out, about to go back into my room when I heard someone groan at the door. 

   That voice, it sounds familiar. 

     I took my eyes to the door and... Oh my gawd!
