Chapter eight

08.

    XARA. 

   I turned back and oh my... Gawd! 

    A gasp escaped through my throat as I stared at her and the guys.. Huge guys behind her. 

   She smirked as she made her way towards me and I gulped in. 

   It's that same girl from yesterday that called me a stinking cheap ass who I refused to exchange words with. What is she doing here by this time of the day? 

  Does she lives here? 

     "If it ain't the stinking whore.. "

   She murmured as she took a seat on the couch while her guards stood behind her and I watched them keenly. 

    "What do you want? Red isn't home as you can see. "

   I muttered, crossing my arms and she shook her head before Staring at me from head to toe. 

    "I don't know who you think you are or where you think you are from but you need to stay away from Red. He's mine and I can't be sharing him especially with a stinky ass like yours "

    She snapped and what she said made no sense to me at all. 

   Why would she say Red is hers? Is she Red's wife? Are wives aren't suppose to live with their husbands?

    "Go out. "

   I muttered under my breath and she chuckled before walking closer to me. 

    "I'm sleeping here tonight. "

   She laughed evilly and walked downstairs with her guards following her behind. 

    I took my gaze to the wall clock. 12:01am.

  Red, where are you?! 

     I sighed and got out of the car before walking out of the mansion. 

   The guards were still there but dozing off already. 

    I'll go out and wait for Red. 

    I creeped out slowly to the wall surrounding the house, I sighed and breathed out before moving backwards. 

   I lifted my leg up and jumped over the fence. I smiled in relief and looked round the street. 

   It's so creepy out here. Everywhere is quiet except for the sounds from the birds and the swaying of the trees. 

    I rubbed my hands together as a smile made its way to the corner of my lips. I sense red, he's gonna be here soon. 

      UNKNOWN. 

   "So you mean that's the girl Red has been keeping in his grip? "

   I smirked, turning to look at the girl once again. 

    "Yes, did you just saw her jumped over the fence? I think she's got some powers or something? "

   He muttered and I shook my head. 

     "You're such an idiot. Powers? What powers? Any one with proper training can do what she just did  "

   I uttered and he gave me a look. 

      "Does she look like someone who trains to you? Come on, she looks too fragile for that. "

   I argued and he breathed out. 

     "Whatever let's just kidnap the girl and make red suffer like he did to us "

   He uttered and I smirked before getting out of the car together with him. 

    We sneaked up behind the girl to strangle her or something but she turned to us before we reached her. 

    "Who are you guys? "

   She muttered and I smirked before trying to get a hold of her but she fling me away. 

     XARA. 

  I don't know who these guys are. Are they trying to kidnap me? I don't even know them. 

   The other guy watched on awe when I threw the girl away and suddenly he brought out a gun. 

   I gasped and began moving backwards but he fired the girl and something flew out of it to my neck. 

    I gasped and touched my neck, suddenly feeling dizzy till I lost consciousness. 

     RED. 

   "Pierce, we need to go home, enough partying. "

   I yelled over the music to pierce who was already making out with some girls. Fuckin bastard! 

    "What's wrong with you man, you're no fun tonight. You're just spoiling everything. "

   He muttered as he left the girls he was with and made his way towards me. 

    "I don't know, I don't feel like partying, I wanna go home. "

   I rubbed my face with my palm as one of the girls try to sit on my laps but my glare alone made her scramble away. 

    After the meeting with Blake, which was not so pleasant. 

  That motherfucker dared try to steal my deal and had the guts to come to my club to challenge me but I made sure I left him with a broken nose. 

   He'll think twice before messing with me ever again.

  Pierce just had to insist we party before we go home and I'm just not in the mood for partying. 

  I almost puke when I tried to kiss one girl. 

    "Or you just want to go to the little bitch waiting for you at home. Did you promised her a good fuck tonight? "

   He teased and I glared at him which made him chuckled. 

   "She's not like that Pierce, let's go. I've having a bad feeling that something is wrong "

   "Fine, fine. We'll go. Great way of ruining my day red. "

  He grumbled and I smirked before getting up as we made our way out of the club.

  I got home. Pierce decided to visit one of his whores. 

  I entered my penthouse and got inside the living room. 

    "Honey... "

   I looked up as Jeanette walked down the stairs to meet me. 

    What is she doing here and why is she dressed in a lingerie. 

   She tried to hug me but I pushed her away gently.

"What are you doing here? "

  I muttered coldly and she stood up, frowning and crossing her arms over her chest. 

  "Is this how to treat your fiancee who misses you Red? "

   She asked and I ignored her before walking upstairs. 

   I was about walking to my room but halt when I saw xara's door opened. Where's she? 

  I peeked in her room, she isn't there. I opened the bathroom door, nothing. 

 Did she decide to leave already? And she couldn't even tell me? 

 Did she leave because I asked her not to come with me? 

  What a childish mermaid. In fact I'm glad she's gone, at least I'll have some peace. 

 I was about moving out of the room when I saw a ring. This is her ring, why didn't she take her ring with her? 

 I always see her wear these blue Two rings and I don't even bother to ask why but I know it's important to her so why is one here? 

  Or perhaps she didn't left on her one? 

    I walked back downstairs and met Jeanette crossed legged, going through her phone. 

   "You didn't see xara when you came here? "

  I asked and she turned to me. 

     "Why? "

    She asked and I groaned. 

    "Just answer the damn question! I can't find her, where is she? "

   I groaned. 

    "I saw her when I came in. She was leaving, I asked her where you were. Told me she doesn't know but I should inform you that she's leaving and never coming back. "

   She uttered and I nodded before walking back upstairs .

   So she left? She probably forget her second ring. That's fine, I want her gone anyways. 

    XARA. 

   I groaned silently as I opened my eyes slowly, what happened? And where the hell am I? 

   I looked round the area, this is a street. I groaned as the guy and lady from earlier came out of nowhere. 

    "Who the hell are you guys? "

   I mouthed and they laughed hysterically at me, trying to walk closer to me, I tried moving back but I think whatever they hit me with earlier made me weak. I can't feel myself. 

    I moved back slowly as they came towards me but suddenly where dragged back by someone. 

   The figure punched them and beat them before they ran away. 

   The figure turned to me and it was a guy with dried blood in the corner of his lips. I think he has a broken nose....
