Chapter six

06.

    XARA. 

   I groaned as the bright rays from the sun struck my eyes forcing me to them. 

   I grumbled and stood up, crumbling up on the bed. 

   It's another day in the human world. 

  According to what red told m open e, when the sun rises and sets, we've a day. 

  Which means I've spent a day in the human world and now I'm left with fourteen days before he kick me out of here. What will I do then? 

  How will I survive? I better find ways to survive without Red or better still make him not kick me out. 

 But how am I going to do that? 

 Speaking about red, I thought he slept with me yesterday where did he go now? 

    I groaned and forced my lazy self out of the bed before going downstairs. Smoke filled the entire living room and my eyes caught up with red, smoke puffing out of his nostrils. 

  He's smoking? This early morning? 

  He was shirtless and I couldn't help as my eyes trailed down his chest. He has six packs, must have work out a lot and his Calvin Kelvin boxer was showing a little bit. 

I wasn't surprise I know all about humans. Even to their underpants brand name. 

   He wasn't alone though. He was talking to some guys who were also drinking something out of the cup. 

   I breathed out and walked into the kitchen. I'm hungry right now, I opened the refrigerator (like I learnt is been called here in the human world) only to be met with lots of canned foods, drinks and junks. 

 There isn't even any proper food here. I groaned and opened the kitchen cabinets but nothing. 

   I groaned and decided on the junks since I've nothing else to eat and I'm basically hungrier than anything right now. 

   I placed my food on the counter and watched red talk with those other men. His hair is messy but it looks perfect. 

  How come his lips is pink and at the same time red? That is kinda weird but amazing. 

  The upper one is red, not that full red but it's slightly red while the bottom one is full pink. I think he's popular here, reason those humans gathered round when they saw him. 

   His gaze met mine and he stared at me for a bit before looking away. 

   I faced my food and drink. 

   After I was done eating, I grabbed the plates ,watched them and placed them back tightly. 

    I feel dirty. In the mermaid world, we never have to worry about being dirty since we're always in the water but here, I smell dirty. 

  I'm still putting on Red's clothes from yesterday, it's strange but it's much more comfortable. 

   I sighed and walked back upstairs, going straight to my room. 

  I removed the shirt and walked inside the bathroom. 

   A gasp escaped through my lips as I stared at the bathroom. It's so pretty. 

  The floor, it looks like grass but when I stepped on it, it's cold against my feet. How's that possible? 

   There are some cabinets in it built to the wall, I walked to it and opened it, lots of soaps and towels and some other things I don't know. 

   Now, where is the shower? 

  I looked round and saw a small glass door built round a thing. 

  I walked to it and pressed the button round it and it opened. 

  I stepped in and looked round and my eyes caught the shower. 

  "Wow" I muttered without knowing it.

   How do I turn on this thing though? 

  I think I need to do more research on this things. 

   I don't know where to turn it on, I better call on red. 

  But he seems busy. What if he gets angry? 

 I don't care. It's not like it's gonna take him forever to just tell me where to turn it on. 

    RED. 

   "So simon finally agreed on 35,45?"

   Pierce uttered and I nodded before taking my eyes to him. 

    "That Russian deal would have been possible if you had showed up "

   He muttered and I rolled my eyes. Like I don't know? 

   "I know that seriously, you didn't have to tell me that. You've been repeating that for the last one hour "

   I gritted my teeth together and he laughed. 

    Fuckin bastard! 

   "Seriously, that girl has a nice ass. Mind lending her to me for a night? "

   I chuckled and shook my head. 

   If he knew how crazy xara is, he would even want to be two feet away from her. 

   "Red!!! "

   I groaned as I heard her call my name. What is it this time? 

    "Red! "

   She yelled again, this time louder. I sighed before standing up. 

Geez!  I can't wait to kick her out in fifteen days.

    "I'll be back "

   I muttered to pierce and dropped my blunt. 

   "Yea, sure. Go take care of her nice and good "

   I glared at him and he chuckled before I walked upstairs. 

    "Xara, what is it.... "

   I stopped immediately I entered the room as my heart dropped to my mouth. 

    The fucking hell? She's naked! 

XARA. 

   He stopped talking immediately he saw me and his mouth hung opened before he turned back so fast and I've no idea why. 

   "What the hell are you doing?! "

   He snapped, his voice breaking and I raised my brows even though he can't see Me Now. He still has his back turned to me.

    "What do you mean? "

   I muttered. I looked at him in confusion.

   "Are you kidding me right now? Why the hell are you naked? Why would you call me so here if you're naked? "

   He uttered and I looked down at myself. 

   I didn't see anything wrong in being naked. Normally I'm the mermaid world, we're almost naked in our mermaid form so what's so wrong about this one? And besides he was just gonna tell me something and leave.
