Johnny was fast asleep in my cage

Yes, yes my cage has a bed and everything, what can I say am still their daughter you know

"Arrg my head, " Johnny said whining trying to get up

"Stay back down" I yelled

"What happened," he said rubbing the back of his head while sitting straight

"Nothing much," I said practically blinking

"Oh really," he said not convinced

"Yeah nothing at all" I began blinking again

"Then tell me why am I in your cage"

"Are you?... I didn't notice" I began blinking again

" You gotta work on your lie huh Rita?"

"Curse my blinking" sighs "are you ok?"

"Hellooo..am in a cage!! "

"Sorry but that's the only way we could stop you"

"Stop me? " he asked confused 

"Yeah don't you remember, you tried killing all of us with your supernatural powers" he looked at me confused

"Don't we already have.." before he could finish that sentence I quickly jump in and say

"You know what I mean" I sigh "but for reals, you're okay right?" He smiles

"I am, you don't have to worry about me rat" I close my eyes lost of words

"what have I told you about calling me rat" he just sticks his tongue out and laughed.

"That's it " I carry a pillow while he covers his face and about hitting him with it when my mom walks in

"Honey what are you doing?" while still frozen in my position as Johnny raising his head slowly I smile and said

"Nothing, I was just about flopping the pillow for him" I began flopping it hard glaring at Johnny, he sticks his tongue out again "prrft baby"

"Now now," my mum said dropping a cup on the table," is time for you guys to drink your special formula if you know you wanna go outside today"

I begin to whine "but mum..it tastes horrible.." she gives me the cup to drink out of it, I gave her the I don't wanna look, she returned it by giving me the I don't care eyes, I hold my breath and drank it, I nearly barf, Johnny just pointed and laughed.

"Now your turn Johnny," my mum said approaching him with the blow, "I don't get out much aunty A"

"Drink the smelly formula, Johnny, drink it..." I said mocking him, he held his breath like I did and drank it "there I drank your sunblock, am sick of the cage I need to get out of here " he quickly stands up from the metal bed and carried the pillow from my hand and left, my mum and I just watch him leave

"You know honey, the full moon will be up soon and-" I interrupt

"Mum please, am getting late for school" I quickly leave

______ High school a place for the weird and unweird, funny thing is I'm the weirdest here, I only got one friend and that happens to be my bestie, and I love her so much, but sometimes I feel if she gets to know the real me that she'd think am a freak and leave or she'll tell the authorities or even if she happens to accept me, I'd feel like her pet cause come on am practically an animal, my thought gets interrupted by a loud horn

A jock in a sports car filled with cheerleaders, he pushes his horn again "move it weirdo" I quickly get in my senses and leave the way, as he drove by I yelled sorry and one of the cheerleaders yelled "well fuck you" I just let it slide and just got focused on getting inside the school

____ I arrive at my locker, I was about bringing out the key when someone covers my eyes 
"You do this every day, you don't have to keep doing it I know it's your bestie" she let go of my eyes and gave me a big hug "and my bestie is the best" she just kept jumping

"You want something don't you," I said starring at her

"Whaaat...noooo" she continues jumping

"No matter how you try to hide it I can still tell, I know you pretty well" she sighs

"Can you ask your cousin to be my date for the school's dance" she began starring at me and I can swear her eyes got bigger

"Am sorry I can't Johnny is uhmm.. different"

"How?" She folds her arms and gives me a look

"He's not normal, his not normally normal" shit what am I even saying

"What the heck are you saying!!" she exclaimed 

"What am trying to say is his not good for you"

"What is there not to like, his cute his full of mystery, he wears black, totally my bad boy type... please just talk to him about it" she whines 

I sigh.."okay I will"

She jumps "yay" and gives me a hug

The bell rings all of a sudden 
"Come on let's go to class" I quickly open my locker"one sec" brought out a biology textbook and lock my locker "let's go"

"Are you planning on even bringing a date?" Is she even for reals 

"Not in a million years"

"Come on please.."

"No"

"For me"

" Oh gosh..damn does big eyes of yours " we both laugh

Now I have to think of a way to convince Jhonny not to go with her, cause I know Frankie she would even find a way to get his number, and Jhonny well I can't trust him with my only friend, other girls he's ever gone out with he always get caught, mostly when it comes to selfies, some times he forgets he doesn't appear in them, one of his girlfriends who knew his secret, the last girl he ever dated tried killing him, he so hearted to broken he was in his bat form for weeks. It took him months to get over her and when he did, let's just say he got his revenge as we speak she's in a mental hospital.don't get me wrong Jhonny is a good guy and a great cousin who loves his family but he has a really dark side, his vamp side.
