Golden bear high, I know, that's the lamest name anyone could name a highschool but that's the name of the high school I attend. The population here is crazy but the thing is you hardly get noticed.

"hey, bestie," a tall blonde says as she covers my eyes "guess who?"

"I know it's you Frankie" I struggle as I try to remove her hands from my eyes "so what are we having the first period?"

"Arrg literature" I giggle by the way she said it out of frustration, but soon our eyes got caught up with something, the doors to the halls burst open, a guy wearing all black with a bad boy look with dark shades comes walking in, it made all the girls screams, but to everyone surprise, he walked towards me, which made everyone begin to whisper. he then takes my hand, Frankie steps back he then begins to drag me to the janitors closet and shuts the door

"What do you think you're up to," he asks glaring strictly at me

"What do you mean?" I ask trying to play dumb

"You made me come all the way here because you don't seem to know how to stay away from trouble," he said as he grabs my shoulders "now listen to me when next you get obsessed with meat and you can't control your werewolf side run into a church " I nodded yes

"So...did you take care of him?" I asked nervously cause I don't like the fact he always cleans up my mess

"Did I have a choice" he sighs and lets go of me "look I know being different is hard but please try, you don't see me getting into trouble because of my blood-sucking do you"

"That's the thing you only have one problem to worry about cause you're only a vampire...I am both vampire and werewolf remember it's pretty hard controlling myself most times but thank you Johnny you always have my back " I give him a smile and a playful punch on his shoulders

"Come on let's get out of here before people start thinking we were making out" I giggle then follow him out. He just walked out without making eye contact with anyone, suddenly the bell rings

______ "so who was that cutie from earlier," Frankie asks as she takes a huge bite from her sandwich, we are sitting opposite from each other in the cafeteria

"That was my cousin Johnny," I said eating my meat slowly with a fork and drinking what appears to be red currant juice but its blood the bottle is dark so no one can see the color of the liquid 

"That was your cousin," she said taking another bite and with her mouth full she says "his hot" I giggle

"Try not to talk with your mouth full," I said taking a napkin and brushing crumbs from her chin

"So why was your cousin here?" I pause hearing that I think for a while then quickly answered

"He came here cause I forgot to do the dishes this morning...it was my night"
I quickly sipped from my juice

"Does your cousin live with you?" She asks with a confused tone in her voice

"Yeahh"... Before she could ask another question we see a student standing on top of one of the cafeterias table announcing

"yo everyone checks this video on YouTube go to supernatural beings with us at channel 5 news " everyone quickly begins to check it out on their phones including me and Frankie. The news report says

"Today a body was found inside a local meat truck early this morning at about 5 am

the investigation is going on 
the police say it isn't a normal human being that must have killed the man. it happens there were two biting marks on the man's neck and don't get me wrong ladies and gentlemen it could be that the man bled to death or a vampire' hearing this my hands begin to shake 

"that's true there was no single drop of blood found in the scene of the crime but the police have given their word that they would get to the bottom of this

now let's hear a live interview from one of the policemen himself, over to you mary

''Thank you John we are here at the scene of the crime and as you can see there's the meat truck being investigated right now. And am standing next to a policeman who is going to try to explain some details....'' she hands the mic to the policeman

Thank you, Mary, you know as a policeman we do our job and we don't just jump to conclusions so I can't say whether it's a vampire or a man that did this, but according to investigation results we got so far ..it seems like the meat truck was being attacked cause there was a damage on the tires and the lock at the back of the truck was broken and all the meats were gone only little piece that was found on the floor ..and as you can see what am holding" he brings out a transparent bag" it's part of the meat that was found on the scene and if you look carefully you'll see teeth marks which were to say the meat wasn't stolen but eaten and according to the tooth mark it might be an animal or something else''

'' so are you trying to say that maybe a werewolf and a vampire did this''

''No no no Mary don't get me wrong I don't believe in vampires or werewolf but as a policeman, I give you and the citizens my word that we'll get to the bottom of this so please try to stay calm''

''You heard him ladies and gentlemen but stay tuned for more info over to you john''

___Suddenly the bell rings everyone begins to talk about what they just saw. We were now all sitting in class but our teacher hadn't shown up yet, so the meat truck accident was the topic of the day

"I mean come on how could that policeman not believe in vampires and werewolf"

"I know right, I mean it is them so far all the clues point to them"

"Come one guy do you believe in that rubbish," Frankie says jumping in their conversation " I mean it's channel 5 news they always talk about weird things ...I mean they think bigfoot it's stealing pizza from pizzeria "

"Well....they did find a giant footprint" one of the guys answered

"Jeez you guys are unbelievable" she sighs and sits down. her sit is behind me so she taps me. I turn

"What Frankie?" I said with my face turned to hers

"Come on back me up here"

"Why?you and I know they aren't real so what's the point arguing about it" I then strictly turned back forward. I could tell Frankie was about telling me something before the teacher finally came in.

______ school was finally over I was over at my locker picking up some textbooks when it suddenly fell. I was about picking it up when I bumped into someone

"hey are you ok am so so sorry" the person said picking up my textbook and helping me from the ground

" yeah am ok" I was about taking back my textbook when something caught my eye, he had a bleeding arm and a bandage covering it but it wasn't strong enough....my nose begin to perceive the sweet-scented blood then my eyes begin to widen and my fangs begin to come out but then I hit the top of my head quickly took my textbook without saying a word I ran away from him.

I usually take the bus home so am sited right next to Frankie I mean can you blame me she's my only friend which make her my best friend

" So...I saw you and Mike today" she said playing hitting me on my shoulders

" Who's Mike?"

" Come on don't tell me you don't know Michael"

" Michael Jackson?"

" You're funny ...but No ..Michael is our star football player, today he got injured during practice "That explains his bleeding arm from earlier " what happened did you guys talk?"

"Nope I simply took my book and took off"

"OMG you did not do that "

"Emm...yes I did alright"

"When are you ever gonna learn, come on his super cute and I bet he would have asked you out ...I mean come on you're hot"

" And you're hotter...anyways we can't be so sure... Today was probably the day he learned about my exitance in school"

"Stop it" soon the bus stops next to an alley I come off wave Frankie Goodbye and begin my journey home...it has to be like that No one has ever visited me not even Frankie we have to keep our location a secret

My house isn't really much but we have a huge farm ..that's what my parents do for a living. And the best part is we get to eat all the meat we want...well not really my parents strictly forbid me from ever going close to or near the farm cause of super abnormal appetite

"Am home!!" I said closing the front door

"Young lady you are in very big trouble," my dad said leaning against the wall

"Let me guess you saw the news?"

"Not just news it's on newspapers everywhere," my dad said with his eyes glowing red

"Calm down honey let me handle this," my mum said tapping his shoulders

'' I don't even know why you guys are so mad I mean how sure are you that I was the one who did it"

"Who else will do something that stupid and Johnny confirm it

"Johnny!!" I said looking at the roof where I saw a bat "you snitch" he flys down and turns back human and says

"Heyy I told you I'd take care of it, but your parents are really good at getting the truth out of someone"

"Honey we are very disappointed I mean we're freaking out"

"Why are you only mad at me Johnny was also a part of this"

"Hey I was only trying to help"

"Killing the guy that's really helpful huh"

"Quiet!!!" My mum yells we all hold our ears "that's it the both of you are grounded for a month

"like that's even a punishment for us, " Johnny says as he turns back to his bat form and flys upstairs

"I angrily began to climb the stairs"

"Don't make that face young lady you deserved more than that I was just going easy on you " my mum said

"I just hate the fact I feel like I get treated like a monster both at home and in school...I just hate myself and my life" I began to run all the way up and slam the door. I turn my face down on my bed I began to cry and used my pillow to hide my face

" Are you crying ?" a voice whispers

I whimper "Whose that" I quickly clean my tears
