chapter 2 [taste of human blood]

"I said show yourself!" I exclaimed looking at a shadow, the shadow begins to walk towards me slowly my heart began to beat fast, yep that's right I was scared to death. I tried standing brave but I could feel my legs shaking, then the shadow stops then disappears. I quickly got on my feet then I began to look around, then I started to feel someone touching my back and I felt it's breath at my neck that's when I realize

"Don't even think about it Johnny" I said turning to him

"What..am hungry," he said Pathing 

" Well then go meet my mum am sure she has some animal blood in the fridge"

"No...I want warm blood human blood" he said as his eyes began to widen and his fangs coming out slowly

I read his face and knew something was wrong I began to step back slowly away from him "Johnny clam down you know am not a human right"

He began to shake his head"I know, I just want human blood right now..I have to have it" his eyes turned red, he was finally at his complete vampire stage, he started to approach me

"Johnny can you hear me" he began approaching faster "Johnny stay away from me " I began to run away from him I lock him in my bedroom he began banging the door "Open the door!!" I run to my parent's room

"Mum, dad come quickly" my mum immediately gets up from her bed 

"What's wrong honey ?"

"It's Johnny his acting crazy!" I exclaimed 

"What do you mean crazy" before I could answer that Johnny began to bang my parent's door hard "open the stupid door!!" Luckily I locked it immediately I ran to them for help

"Sorry it's locked, so what are we gonna do?" I felt my heart was about to explode 

"This is all because he tasted human blood" my mum added "we need to fight back"

"No mum, we can't fight Johnny" I, begged "his family"

"I know sweetie, but it's for the best, once vampires taste human blood they are very powerful, we need to find a way to weaken him," says my dad

"Ok at least, is there a less violent way to stop him?" I asked as I hear Johnny daring to break the door

"Well there is a way, if I could get him to sleep, which is impossible since it's night, but if I could overpower him we could lock him up in the special cage we keep for you every full moon" my dad added

" Wait dad how could you possibly overpower him?" then I hear Johnny saying...that's it, am breaking the door down

"Dad did you hear what he just said" I cried

"I did, but I doubt he would, you see I purposely made that door entirely out of the strongest metal I could find I mean it cost a fortune"..before my dad could finish Johnny breaks down the door

I whisper in my dad's ear as he nodded "I think you have to ask for a refund"

"Rita, why are you running away from me, I thought we were blood, "Johnny said with a smirk

I nervously laugh and stand behind my dad

"Johnny, you need to relax, take a breath, control yourself," my dad said trying to talk calming

"What old man, you can't stand the sight of a real vampire," Johnny said hissing at my dad

"Okay that's it kiddo, we could do this the hard way or..the hard way either way you don't get a choice"

my dad Carries a table and throws it toward Johnny, surprisingly he stops it and it falls he began to walk forward

my dad carries my mom's standing mirror and throws it but Johnny still stops it and it falls and breaks

Johnny starts to approach my dad even faster, my dad seems to have run out of ideas, Johnny grabs his neck raises him and his eyes began to turn red, my dad began to choke

I didn't know what to do I was looking at Johnny choking my dad to death and I froze out of fear not knowing what to do, then all of a sudden my mum quickly walks into the room holding garlic....

my dad and Johnny began to weaken, but Johnny still manage to stand and began to walk towards my mum this time

"Go down son," my mum said stepping back

"Why you think a little garlic will stop me," he said walking weakly

"Nope but I hoping this can, "I said before I carry a vase and smash it on his head, he fell unconscious

The garlic has already made Johnny weak so it was easy for me to do that

"Oh honey Good job," my mum said with a smile

"No time mum," I said as she was about giving me a hug

My mum throws the garlic far away, so my dad would gain his strength back, he gets up quickly, carries Johnny, and goes lock him in the full moon proof, that's what my parents named it.

" Finally its over, " my dad said as he sighs

"But he hasn't gain conscious yet, is he okay?" I ask concern 

"Don't worry honey" my dad kisses me on my forehead "his going to be okay"

" I hope so"

-------- "phew am glad this is over," my mum said sitting next to me in the living room 

"This was all my fault mum if I hadn't let him handle the guy and the truck and

" Honey ....it's ok, at least you've learned a lesson, I don't think you'd do that again"

" Trust me I won't" sighs "I just wish I thought of the temptation he would go through"

" Yeah it's not easy to resist something one is addicted to, just like you with meat sometimes"

"I can't help it, meat, blood I can't seem to resist any, my life is just so... complicated"

"Sorry honey you have to go through this, you see your dad and me-"

"I know I know loved each other so much...blah blah, I know that I don't see why you guys took a big risk all because of love"

"Honey you won't understand, but one day you will, once you fall in love"

"Hahaha...me fall in love, here, I don't think anyone is willing to fall in love with a freak"

"Don't say that you will honey once you find the right one. She checks the time, oops it's already 2 am, I better go prepare the special sun resistance to give your dad and Johnny when he cools down"

" You know you can just call it sun-block, get it because it blocks you know what never mind"

"Ok.....am going now"

Sighs... "I really hope he's going to be ok"
