chapter 4 [just one night]

"So are we clear on what you're going to do," I said starring at Johnny while he was hanging upside down

"No everything you just said is just giving me a headache"

"Or maybe its because you're hanging upside down, ever thought of that?" He thinks then comes down and stands straight

"So what you're saying is I should tell your friend who thinks am super hot with the look of a God" I interrupt

"I didn't say it like that" he ignored and continued what he was saying

"And you want me to tell her I have a crazy girlfriend which I don't, nope can't do that"

"What!! Why?" I said frustrated

"Because I've been here for as long as I remember and my relationship life 0"

"That's because you always end up getting caught, cause of your stupidity "

"But if I could go one night with your friend then I'll see .." I interrupt

"Hell no.you think I'll put my only friend at risk, you're crazy"

"Am mature now, how can I prove myself, come on, just one night, please Rita..."

"No way...I don't want my friend ended up dead in a meat truck, with no single blood found in her body or in a mental health establishment" he laughs

"It was just a one time, I promise I've changed and I've learned a good lesson"

"Yeah right, no matter what you say I won't let you"

"Come on, as long as there's no drip of blood what's the worse that can happen" he looks at me in the eye his eyes were like full of hope

"Darn you guys and your big eyes, what if she says let's take a selfie what's gonna happen"

"I will just say I hate taking photos"

"Arrg...you're so annoying"

"Just say yes already"

"NO NEVER" I fold my arm and turn away so I can't see his depressing eyes

"Please.....I promise not to lay a finger, if you do it, I'll get you fresh delicious beef"

To my surprise, my fangs came out and my eyes begin to widen, I could feel his smirk "did you just say fresh meat" I said as I licked my lips

He raises his eyebrows " yes the freshest " he smiled

"Deal!!" I immediately agreed without hesitation

He smiles "well no takes back then" he rubs the top of my head and leaves the room, I stand there drooling, soon I come back to my senses "WTF what have I done!!"

_______ *Bell rings* students begin to invade the hallway, I'm at my locker patiently waiting for Frankie when

"Hey, I know you right?" A guy says standing in front of me

"Emm...I don't think so"

"I do, I bumped into you a few days ago"

"Oh...yeah...that's true" I try not to make eye contact, he looks at me and laughs

"You're really something huh" I smile, then I see Frankie, I yelled her name
"Frankie get over here" she looks at me with a weird face and hesitated a bit, before walking towards me

"What's up," she said looking directly at me with her eyes telling me what is he doing here

"I just wanted to tell you that, Johnny agreed to be your date " a big smile appears on her face, she begins to jump and clap her hand silently

"Are you girls talking about the school dance?" Mike said looking at the two of us

"You bet," Frankie said excited, she thinks for a sec and asks "do you have a date?'

"Actually I don't," he said scratching the back of his head, he looks at me and noticed I was trying not to make eye contact

She smiles and replies"Well my friend here doesn't have a date" I begin to cough real loud "why don't you ask her" I glare at her, she just fakes an oops my bad look

He turns directly at me "well I don't know you, pretty well but why not, that's if you're willing to go with me?"

This was a very uncomfortable position I was put in, I didn't know what to do, without thinking I walk away

I hear Frankie calling my name, I just ignored, honestly I didn't know where I was going or why I was even running all I know is, it just felt right, I suddenly crash into someone and the both of us stumbled on the floor

"Watch where you're going you freak," a feminine voice said, that voice sounded really familiar, the smell of her perfume alone would tell you she's a spoilt brat, her hair was long and strawberry blonde, her lip gloss baby pink, which goes with her skin tone. Two of her other friends help her up, she turns to me

"What the hell was that, are you blind?"

I looked down trying to avoid her glare "I'm sorry"

"Oh you would be, cause thanks to you," she said raising what looked like broken sunglasses in the air "you destroyed my designers"

"Just tell me the price and maybe we could work something out"

She giggles "oh please" she comes closer and hands me the glasses "not even your house could pay for it" she turns around and walks away

What she said kinda hurt me. I just toss the glasses to the nearest garbage can I saw, I lean over on the wall I sigh

_______ "Am home!" I said as I slammed the door and toss my backpack on the couch. Suddenly Johnny flies in like a bat in the living room and transforms back in front of me

"So...did you tell her?"

"I thought you were asleep, it's still 4 pm and vampires need their beauty sleep"

"Shut up, and just tell me"

"Ok ok fine, I did"

"Yess!!" He said as he transforms back and begins to dance in the air

"Am beginning to think I made a big mistake" he lands next to my mum's living room mirror and changes back into his human self, I walked towards him

"Look at the mirror and tell me what you see," he says brushing his hair and showing his super white fangs in the mirror "am I a handsome devil or what"

"I don't know, cause I see nothing, we don't show on mirror remember"
He nods

"True, true but I can imagine my reflection," he says as he continues to admire his invisible self

"Do you think, I can go out with a human?" I ask looking at the mirror that shows nothing!!

"With that kind of appetite, Never" I throw a vase at him, he ducks, and it broke on the wall"

"What you breaking" I hear my mums voice from her bedroom

"Johnny broke your vase" I yelled then Jonny begins to chase me as I stick out my tongue and ran from him

Transylvania

Dark as midnight, screaming winds blew around the old Dracula castle. A big rectangular table with black leathered torn chairs, sat an old female werewolf, a middle-aged vampire, an elderly Frankenstein, and a mommy

The vampire sat at the highest chair, there was an argument going on between the four of them

"You mean to tell me that the werewolves leave Transylvania! Why? it's our home as well" the white-haired werewolf said

"Transylvania is popularly known as the home of the vampires and I don't see why that should be argued, the population of the vampires doesn't seem to be getting any better but the werewolves on the other hand

"Don't you dare blame the werewolves for the weak females you vampire have, we live as one and we live together if you didn't want this, count Dracula, then you should have stopped the signing of the decree of our forefathers"

"If I may add"the mommy intruded who happens to have an Egyptian crown on his head"Transylvania has been home for all monsters but yet, there has still been division, not to talk of  discrimination, for hell sake, you guys even sent your own children away from here just because they fell in love?" The vampire and werewolf remained silent. The Frankenstein jumps in

"I don't agree with anyone when our forefathers made peace to live here, everything seemed ok, then there was a divide in the land and now the vampires want to claim Transylvania, where would the others go, where would we go?"

"We'd make an agreement, "the vampire says and he stands up "we'd go to war, we'd fight and whoever wins the battle, shall claim the whole of Transylvania.
