Chapter Eleven

When I woke the next morning, I rolled over Aamon's side of the bed was empty and felt cold to touch, like he hadn't been in bed for a while, so I got up.On the end of the bed was some neatly piled clothes, I picked them up there was some denim light blue jeans, a shirt and leather jacket and high heel boots along with a lace bra and lace thong. How did he know my clothing size? I thought and where did he get these from? They were all name brand clothes, I quickly had a shower and got dressed the clothes fit like a second skin almost like they were altered to fit perfectly. He has really expensive taste in clothes. Not that I minded they were definitely something, I would have picked myself if given the choice. Once I was dressed, I walked into the kitchen Aamon was there looking like a god making coffee he had a simple outfit on just jeans and a black shirt that moulded to him making his muscles more defined. Chapter Twelve

Tears spilled from my eyes. My whole life was a lie, they lived with this secret to protect me but from what or who and why? I had so many questions running through my head. I stared at the box that contained my past. One I didn't know I had. I felt angry and betrayed, not by them. Not my parent's, but by those who obviously took part in both my mothers and fathers’ deaths. Why would anyone feel threatened by me but most importantly what am I? Who am I truly? I stuffed the letter and documents along with dress and bracelet in my bag before walking out as I neared the exit, I took off running. I needed to move to do something. I needed release I needed something anything to blank my mind from the questions in my head. I was questioning everything my life, myself, my parents .I don't know how long I ran for but before I knew it I was back at Aamon’s apartment b

Chapter 13

Today was the day. September 9th my 21st birthday also, the day I was supposed to be initiated into my mother’s coven, the Faewood coven. It had been two days since my dream revelation, I had explained my dream to Aamon and Becca and for the last two days, we had looked everywhere for the woman from my vision Meredith, but she was extremely good at hiding. We were back at my dorm room. Becca came running into the lounge room soon as she heard the door click, throwing herself into my arms wishing me Happy Birthday."Do you feel any different? like more witchy?" she asked excitedly."No, I still feel like me" I chuckled at her enthusiastic attitude, squeezing her tightly. It felt so good to finally be back with her again. I had never spent a birthday that I could remember without her."So, what's that mean then? I would have thought you would have woken up all wi

Chapter 14

In the photo was my mother and my bio mother who was pregnant. They looked happy standing side by side their arms around each other. There was no deny the bond they shared, one photo and I could see and feel the love they shared. The photo was inside the potions book. They both looked young maybe a bit younger than me at the time the photo was taken, they could have easily passed as twins they were so similar. My father in the background, he looked like he was talking to someone, a dark-haired woman. Her back was to the camera. I Examined the photo carefully, could that woman be Meredith? While I was pondering, I heard the bell sound. Looking up towards the door, I made eye contact with Aamon, Aamon nodded his head towards the front of the store before walking out to see who had come in. I followed closely behind the photo still in my hand.

Chapter Fifteen

After dropping Becca back off to her dorm. I grabbed a few things from my room before following behind Aamon, driving back to the north side of the city. Once we arrived the valet took both cars.Grabbing the few things, I retrieved from my dorm, I carried them up to his apartment before walking into the kitchen to put the kettle on and placing the herbs on the counter. Walking into Aamon's room and into his closet, stripping my clothes off before grabbing a pair of his track pants and one of his shirts which looked more like a dress then a shirt on me. Aamon stood in the doorway, which earned me a sly smile from him seeing me in his clothes, stepping past him where he had his shoulder resting on the door frame, I slapped his ass cheekily before going back to the kitchen.Making the tea I wasn't sure if I should put a teaspoon or tablespoon in, f

Chapter Sixteen

Two weeks later...I had been training with Meredith for the last week and a bit, she has been showing me different ways to use my powers and strengthen them. The Coven Witches have been randomly showing up to my university looking for me, trying to get me to join and merge my power with the Faewood Coven.Becca has been ringing me every time they showed up to let me know, so for now I have been staying at Aamon's place in the northside. Meredith was coming to his apartment today. We have only ever practised at my mother’s store, but she has been growing anxious with how much pressure Agatha has been putting onto the coven witches to find me. It's only a matter of time before they figure out, I have been hiding out in the north side.Meredith seems to think they won't dare to cross into this territory and decided it would be safer to practise here. Aamo

Chapter Seventeen

Waking up, it was night-time. I was still half asleep on the lounge. I had a weird sensation of my mind being awake but not my body. I could hear Aamon and Meredith talking in hushed voices, I could tell they were arguing over something. Pretending I was still asleep, I listened."You have no idea what you're talking about""When she finds out it will destroy her, you really are nothing but a monster, how can you pretend, to care about her after what you did?""I'm not pretending anything, I love her. I didn't have a choice, you weren't there so don't judge me, you didn't hear what they planned for her""I may not have been there but that doesn't mean I don't know what you did, god help you when she finds out""Think what you want Meredith, I saved her, I brought her time. I owed them I had no choice""I should kill y

Chapter Eighteen

The following morning, I woke on the lounge. Getting up, I quickly checked my phone and seen five missed calls from Becca. Hitting recall, I rang her back, but the phone rang out and I got her voicemail. I left a message for her to call me back. I just assumed she was calling to bitch about last night. She might be in class now and I know she will call as soon as she gets a chance.Deciding to have a shower, I grab a pair of jeans and a white T-shirt and my white bra and panties, before jumping into the shower. Aamon must of went somewhere because he wasn't on the lounge when I got up and I haven't seen him. I thought it was a bit unusual, he didn't even leave a note. Probably got called into work. While washing myself, I hear a knock on the door.I knew it wouldn't be Aamon because he wouldn't knock on his own door. Maybe it's a delivery person, or maybe someone from the foyer. Quickly stepping out of the shower, I

Chapter Nineteen

Meredith said give her day, it's been a week. Becca has been locked away for a week now. Meredith came back the next day and told me she had plan to merge my magic with hers. What she forgot to tell me was, after I merged my magic with hers it left me powerless. That was her plan all along, she knew I would go after Becca. I have no choice, she is closest thing I will ever have to a sister, no she is my sister. I can't picture my life without her in it. They may not kill her, but I knew they were capable of things much worse than death. They can and will destroy her if they don't get what they want. For them it would be easy to kill her in ways, other than death. The mind can only take so much before it breaks, only take so much torture before the teether that holds our souls is torn and split leaving only a shell. I won’t allow my best friend to become an empty vessel. The third day Aamon and Meredith, put a
