Giordana. "Giordana, Giordana!" I heard. I tried to decipher if it was just my dream or reality.Groggily opening my eyes, I was met with Philip Forbes standing in front of the bed and gazing at me with a frown.

Giordana."That's cheating, the pawn is only supposed to take one step forward after the first move," I laughed.

Giordana. It had been three months since we came back from the honeymoon. We moved into another house that Uncle Xander gifted us. The house was bigger, beautiful, and more homely than the penthouse. As I predicted, he went back to his usual self if not worse.He avoided me like a plague and our conversations do not last for up to two minutes. When we're in public and in front of our parents we put on the show and when they're out of sight we keep our distance from each other.

Philip. Retrieving my car keys from the bed stand, I threw on a checkered shirt with jeans trousers and headed out of the house.I reached my destination not up to ten minutes later.
