Chapter 3 - Second encounter

That mysterious stranger had disappeared in the crowd so I focused on looking for my friends. I was walking carefully trying to avoid the mass of swaying bodies. Suddenly I was knocked off by one the exuberantly dancing fellow. I fell backward and closed my eyes expecting to fall on the hard floor instead I was cushioned by strong pairs of arms. Knocked out of breath I opened my eyes and I saw those deep blue goggles again. My breath stopped for a minute. Not by the impact but by THE IMPACT.His face was so near I could have kissed him. He had an amusing half-smile on his face. For no reason, I was shivering. He helped me stand straight then said,  "Careful! I won't always be around to rescue you."&nbs

The new guy narrowed his eyes and looked at me curiously. He was tall, with broad shoulders, and heartbreakingly good looks. Dressed in a white tee he was clearly eye-catching. He looked familiar. I didn't realize we were being introduced. He offered his hand for a handshake "Hi I am Ishaan Shekhawat." I felt a nudge from Swati. "Aarya," I said. He smiled "Aarya Stark ?" I laughed "No just Mathur. Aarya Mathur." "I bet you get that a lot!" He smiled. "I am used to it" I replied.&nb

Chapter 5 - The ride

Wind and raindrops whipped off my face. Ishaan was driving at a breakneck speed. I felt as if I was living a dream, last few hours were bliss. It wasn't like I never got male attention. I got enough of it! but very few of them caught my interest. I was just 22 all I wanted to do was have some fun.I looked around but couldn't spot any other member of the gang. It was like we were driving alone on the highway. It was dark and we were whizzing past the thick vegetation.I spoke aloud near his ear "Arent we going too fast?"He replied, "You want me to slow down?"I said "I dont mean the speed. I can't see anybody from our group."He chuckled "Dont worry I am not kidnapping you. I know where we are going".I suddenly visualized us lost in the woods indulging in all sorts of wild things that had never crossed my mind before. I took a deep breath, I barely knew this guy! Chapter 6 - Movie date

I didn't see him again for 1 week. Was I hoping to? Maybe. I was busy with my work. Though he used to appear in my thoughts quite often. I had already stalked him on social media but hesitated from sending him a friend request. I believe, men should make the first move. I am old fashioned that way. I had not heard from him since that day. I had not given him my number. He didn't ask. I wondered if ever thought of me.On Friday I was shutting off my laptop happy at the prospect of finally getting a weekend. My phone buzzed, it was an unknown number. A husky voice called from the other side. "Hello, I hope you little feet have recovered from the stressful hiking."

We were seated in one of the swanky places. "What do you know about gaming?" Ishaan asked. "My 15-year-old brother is addicted to it. I used to think it's a waste of time until I learned about the development side of it. It's fascinating how much creativity goes into it." "Thank God! Finally someone who appreciates me! Now gaming is huge. There's X box games, PlayStations, Then there are fantasy games like warcraft, Chinese ghost story, etc. Btw I love fantasy games." He paused " Most of these fantasy games are based in China, Korea, or the US. They have detailed characters inspired by different mythologies and comics even movies. However, there are hardly any Indian gaming companies. Chapter 9 - Drugged

Next few weeks I balanced my stressful job and exciting happy moments with Ishaan. We met almost every weekend and sometimes on weekdays as well if we were able to squeeze out time from our busy schedule. We went to movies, hung around malls, explored places in and around Pune sometimes as a couple, and sometimes with the gang. By now everyone in the gang assumed we were a couple. Which was true to some extent however we had not graduated to the next level. Apart from a few hugs and the peck on the cheek we didn't do anything else.He was addictive and I was hooked to my new addiction. As usual one Saturday we went along with the gang to a disco. I felt a smug satisfaction when Ishaan's jaw fell open for a moment spotting me in my little black dress. He simply commented "Looking good".The disco was usually noisy and crowded. I was sitting along with others sipping my cocktail. I am not a very party person but I loved reveling once in a while.
