Chapter eleven

KIISHA    "Yes, yes, who you dey look for?" the gateman asked immediately he opened the gate.  Why is he asking me stupid question? As if he didn't see me the day before yesterday or what?  Jared had come to my place yesterday and we'd done all our assignments except the Technical Drawing project which had just been sent earlier this morning and that brought me to his place today. "I'm here to see Jared." "No be oga son be dat?"

Chapter twelve

JARED I walked into the indoor pool and realized all my teammates were there, I'd joined the swimming team immediately we got back from the mid-term break. The break was more than interesting, Kiisha and I had spent time together because I forced her to learn how to cook. Though she'd been hesitant but I took the pleasure in going to her place and dragging her to my place. Her cooking skills have improved since she could cook some foods now except the swallows. Doing things with her was somehow fun though she's a saucy thing but was sweet on the inside. Our mid-term test had lasted for four days, when it's not as if we were writing exam but I think

KIISHA "Are you blind?" I screamed as I looked up and screwed my braids off my face. I'd been staying at the edge of the stairs waiting for Kiiti and Aminat who wanted to pick their music note books from the locker when someone pushed me. Thank goodness I only missed two stairs and didn't roll down the stairs, after gaining my stance, I looked up at the person angrily. "I'm sorry," Kenneth begged and I glared at him. "Sorry for yourself, if you know you can't see, just see an optician or better still an ophthalmologists instead of doing nonsense around, ignoramus," I ended it with a hiss and pushed him out of my way. Kiiti and Aminat f

Chapter fourteen

KIISHA I inspected my short fingernails as our class teacher shared the results, my fingernails was extremely short because I do chew on it, though my friends and parents do complain but I loved chewing my nails. Today was the last day of the term and we were to collect our results, yesterday was the Christmas celebration and I ended up singing the duet with Jared. He'd played the piano like the piano king he was and I'd sang the song until he joined, it was an interesting moment that I can never forget. "Kiisha," Mrs Yusuf called. I looked up and smiled and approached her. "You did well, keep up the good work," she complimented, I smiled and collected my dossier before going

Chapter fifteen

JARED "Oh my goodness!" I muttered as I sighted Kiisha in her beach wear, a pink crop top and black mini skirt that outlined her nice shape, she was ravenously beautiful in the dress.  "Hey, jaguar," her voice brought me out of my thoughts, we were at the Barcelonata Beach and the football team were preparing for their fixture, Joshua was amongst them and had left to prepare, Quadri had gone to Ify and that explains why I was seated alone chatting on phone with my cousin, Lyra. It was already our fourth day in Spain and the day before we were to depart, but so far it had been nice and fun, fun in the sense that we really enjoyed ourselves and I enjoyed the company of Kiisha and Lyra. The thought of Lyra and

KIISHA January 6. That was my birthday, surprisingly it was also Kiishi and Kiiti's birthday, maybe children born that day all look alike or what could possibly be the answer? Kiiti was in Canada and would be returning a day before school resumption. Kiishi had told me she was going out with her family and I was staying home but would be out later in the evening since Jared had insisted we go out. Though my parents had been planning to throw an elaborate party considering it was my sixteenth birthday but I wasn't a fan of parties and I'd told them not to worry. Dad and mom had gone to work and my siblings were at my grandparents place and wouldn't be back until tomorrow. I was the only one at home and had decided to while away time by watching 'Playfu

KIIISHA Second term was always the most interesting of all terms due to the various activities that engulfed it. Our inter house sports, cultural day, founder's day and even Valentine Ball would be holding soon and we were all looking forward to it. "Did you come with your clothes?" Kiishi asked as we all settled down on our beds after arranging our stuffs, Kiiti had just finished telling us about her holiday at Canada. "Yeah" She turned to Kiiti, "What of you?" "I came with them" "Do you know there'll be a contest on the cultural day for Miss and Mr. RGC which will also come out during the inter-house sport, so will you guys be contesting?" Kiishi asked.

Chapter eighteen

KIISHA "Where is Kiishi?" I asked Dumininu who just bumped into me. She raised her head and smiled. "Well, our class teacher called her after assembly, she came back later and told me she was going for an impromptu essay," Dumininu explained, Kiiti and I exchanged looks at this. "It's break already, when will she be back?" Kiiti asked. Dumininu opened her mouth to talk but a voice called her, we all turned to the voice only to see Rihanna and Kemisola. "I don't know when she'll be back but I have to go," she said hurriedly as she walked hastily to Rihanna and Kemisola.

KIISHA   It's been three days now and Jared didn't talk to me, I was really missing his voice but I just can't go to him. Call it pride or whatever, I can't beg him and whereas he's my opponent so he should be in my enemy zone and not friendship zone. During the extra class, he'd greet Idiat and ignore me, even during our study periods, whenever I say anything, he just keeps quiet and turns to the other guys or Idiat. In class now, if he isn't talking to his friends, then he'll talk to Kiiti or Aminat. Can you imagine? Aminat of all person and that one has been smiling all over the school while eyeing me whenever we meet, the idiot is even passing rumors that they were dating, not like I care but I just don't believe Jared would stoop so low to date someone like Aminat but I can't blame him sha.

Chapter twenty

JARED Since we started this term, Fridays were meant for the inter-house sport practice. I was in the blue house and we were having our practice at the field when Rihanna approached me, this time she wasn't with Kemisola. "Hi," she greeted as she flashed me a huge grin. "Hi," I responded. "Emm...you've been chosen as the queen," she smiled dreamily. What's my business with that? Why are we even in the same house gan? "Oh," I nodded while looking at my phone. None of my close friends were in my house and the only person I was familiar with there was Yimika who h
