RONAN'S POV:

I opened my eyes only to close them again because of the light that peered through my window.

'Ugh! Stupid sun!'

I'm not exactly a morning person. Like, why would you ever want to wake up so early and leave the comfort of your bed?

I definitely believe in those people that managed to wake up before their alarm blares their ears off.

I was about to return to my slumber when I smelled bacon.

'Hmm.'

The omega must be done cooking. I gotta say, his food are the best, second after my mom of course, if I do say so myself.

Of course, I would never tell him that or anyone. I hate the guy and I don't even know why. I bullied him since we were children because of what my dad said to me.

"He's filthy and an omega, not to mention he's gay and a low-rank wolf! So don't you dare try and befriend as he is beneath you and put him in his place whenever he speaks or does things out of turn."

And that's what I did. My friends and I would beat him daily yet he always put up a fight and I guess that's one thing I admired about him but then again I would never tell him that.

But if he does show any defiance in front of my father, he gives him the worst beating to the extent that he almost bled to death until my mom stopped him while I just stood and watched.

He was only 12 at that time and I admit I felt really bad for him and it was also the time that fear slowly developed within me for my father.

Until now, I sometimes take part in beating him and sometimes I don't. I just leave him be. These past couple of years, I've been having mixed feelings about him. I just don't know what to think of him anymore.

I tipped my chin up higher to smell more of the delicious scent but it was immediately ruined by a certain she-wolf- who you think her perfume was sprayed on by a bunch of skunks -passed by my room.

'Ugh, Stacy'

I wanted to be the first to wake up before her as I couldn't stand that clingy girl and her annoying high-pitched voice that can smash a window.

She's like a damn koala but I think leech is much more befitting and keeps coming back to me for sex.

'What am I? A booty call?'

I wanted to smack her out of oblivion, but I can't. She keeps mentioning about the topic of being a Luna, what would she do, how everyone would love her, how we would rule together, blah, blah, blah. She even wanted me to mark her!

'Huh! As if!'

I would never do that, I will only do that to my mate. I know what you're thinking, if I'm so disgusted of her then why be with her in the first place?And why defend her?

Well, its not like I want to and its because ladies and gentlemen, my father WANTS me to.

He is the only one who wants Stacy to be the Luna. The rest of us?  We don't. I know what you're thinking, HE'S CRAZY!! And If I don't make her my Luna, he'll never give me the title.

I mean, what the heck dad? What does he even see in her? All I see is an annoying slut who slept with almost half of my pack and she still comes back to me.

I feel sorry for whoever my mate is, I wanted my first to be special.

Ugh, after debating whether should I get up or not, I finally dragged myself out of my bed and stretched. Heading to my bathroom I did my business.

'I'll shower later after breakfast.'

Heading downstairs I walked into the kitchen just in time to hear Stacy squeaky voice.

" .....-show me some respect will you?!"

'Hmmph, you don't deserve respect'

My wolf agreed with a nod. The omega's reply had me smiling on the inside as I watched from the bottom of the stairs.

"And why would I do that?"

I was about to let it be when I sensed my pack members and my dad coming down.

Sighing quietly before I cut Stacy off.

"Watch the way you speak to her omega!"

He jumped-startled and turned immediately locking eyes with me.

You know the one thing I noticed?

Its that whenever he looks at me with those striking orange eyes of his, I get lost for a while and I sometimes hate that feeling and other times not really and the effect he has on me completely baffles me.

We continued to stare until Stacy spoke. With that shrilled voice of hers again.

Internally groaning and broke off eye contact with him and instead trained my gaze at her, giving her a fake smile as I tried to not grimace at her overly done makeup.

"Hey baby!! Glad you're here. Can you teach this filthy omega a lesson? He hasn't shown respect since I got down. And my head hurts already."

My head was down as she spoke but both of our (Zannicus and mine) heads snapped towards her and I don't know why but what she said kinda got me a little mad.

'Filthy?? Speak for yourself.'

My wolf growled within my head.

I was going to let it go when I see my dad appearing in the corner of my eyes and just in time to see the omega glaring at Stacy.

Sighing again, I closed my eyes.

'Time for a show, yay.'

I made my way over to him while he was glaring at her. I saw Stacy flinching upon seeing the look Zannicus was giving her but then smirked when I hit him.

I guess he was too busy glaring, he didn't notice the pack and dad walking in. I saw his lip started bleeding.

'Shit! I hit him too hard and I don't know this feeling that suddenly struck me. What is it? Regret? What the hell?'

I shrugged it off and said what I needed to say and to everyone's surprise he stared back at me instead of backing down or bowing in submission and once again I was lost in those beautiful, striking fiery eyes of his.

I wonder, what if there was something else in his eyes, looking up at me, what he'll look like when lying down under me and-.....!

'WHOA!! WOAH WOAH!! Where is this coming from?!!  What the hell am I thinking?? Ugh! Snap out of it!'

I quickly regained my composure and levelled his glare. I don't know how long we were staring at each other because it felt like years when in reality its only a few minutes.

I could tell I was losing because I kept blinking and keep shifting my feet.

 My father brought both of us out of it with his booming Alpha tone. Even if I'm an Alpha myself, I don't have the full power yet, not until I turn 18.

I still flinched and slightly bowed my head in submission- everyone in the room did -except....for ONE. He replied back with an unfazed tone that made us look at him in both shock and disbelief, including my father and noticed that my dad slightly flinched away at his tone.

"Never. He's not my Alpha nor will I ever treat him as such."

My father was fuming in anger and was about to explode if my mom hadn't cut in.

"Enough Ryder! You too Ronan!  Zannicus darling, calm down sweetie."

He immediately calmed down and faced her.

"Yes Luna"

"Mom?"

"Zip it!"

"Come on sweetie, let me put something on that"

She dragged him out of the kitchen and brought him upstairs leaving all of us with open mouths. I guess I'm also a bit jealous as my mom treats him like her own.

But do I blame him? No.

I sat down and began eating as did the rest of the pack. I peered up from my food to find my father glaring at the direction my mom and the omega went to then to the fork he was holding was already bent in half.

'Poor fork...'

I don't get why he hates him so much, the  only thing I know is that he was found in our borders when he was just a baby.

(Sighs) What a great way to start the day.
