Chapter 6

"Hey baby," Kelly smiled brightly and gave Noah a small peck. She had been waiting by the door for a while now. What took him so long?

"Hey," Noah smiled nervously.

"Are you okay? Why do you look all nervous?" Kelly asked. She looked at him curiously.

"Um, it's nothing. What are you doing here?" Noah asked, hoping she would leave soon so it'll give him time to get rid of Serena.

Kelly looked at him. "You forgot, didn't you?" she asked, suddenly looking disappointed.

"Uh? What do you mean?" Noah looked at her with surprise. Forgot what?

"You were supposed to come to meet my parents, remember?" Kelly exclaimed.

Oh fuck...he totally forgot with all the crazy things that were happening to him today.

"Shit...Kelly, I am so sorry. I can't do it today. I sort of have an emergency today," he said hesitantly.

"What? What are you talking about! I told them I would bring you tonight. You can't bail on me now!" Kelly cried.

"Kelly, please. I will explain everything to you later. Right now I need you to leave," Noah said desperately. He kept looking back at the bedroom door, praying Serena stays quiet. He can't deal with Kelly freaking out on top of everything.

"You want me to leave?" Kelly looked shocked. "Why, what the hell is going on Noah? Are you keeping secrets? And why are you keep looking at your bedroom? Is there someone in there?" Kelly narrowed her eyes in suspicion.

"Whaat? Haha of course there's no one in there. I live alone, silly," Noah tried to hide his nervousness but his voice came out high pitched.

Kelly looked at him intently then stomped towards the bedroom door without a warning.

"Kelly, wait! What are you doing? I told you no one is in there!" he yelled, trying not to have a panic attack.

Kelly burst open the door and stepped inside.

Fuck, fuck, fuck! Noah screamed in his head.

But he didn't hear Kelly scream in anger or anything so he went inside quickly. Kelly was standing in the middle of the bedroom, looking at the closet. Noah stepped in front of her but the closet was empty.

Well, that's surprising, he thought. His room was small with only one closet. Where did Serena go? Was she in the bathroom?

As if Kelly had the same thought so she stormed towards the bathroom. "Kelly wai..." he started to say but stopped as she was already inside. It was too late to stop her anyway.

But she came out and looked as if nothing happened. Serena wasn't in there either?

Kelly let out a nervous giggle. "Sorry I thought someone was in here. Sorry for acting paranoid. But you gotta admit you are acting very suspicious," she said.

"Ye..yeah sorry. Look Kelly I will make it up to you I promise. I just really have to do something else today. I will tell you everything later, okay?" Noah pleaded.

Kelly sighed. She wasn't completely unreasonable and she trusted Noah. "Fine, you are off the hook for now but I will be back tomorrow," she said.

Noah gave her a quick kiss and said goodbye then went back inside. How did Serena manage to get out without them seeing her? he wondered.

He went inside his room and flopped down on his bed.

"Thought she would never leave."

Noah gasped loudly as he heard Serena's voice.

"I thought you left!" he exclaimed.

"How would I leave? Jump out the window? this is a 5 story apartment!" Serena sounded annoyed.

"Then where were you?" Noah demanded to know.

"I was hiding inside your closet. Your top shelf is pretty sturdy," she smirked.

"Top she-...what the fuck? How did you even get up there?" Noah's eyes turned huge. The top shelf was pretty high up.

"I've got skills. I was a gymnast in high school so I am pretty limber too," she winked and bit her lower lip seductively.

That's kind of hot, he thought. Wait a minute...why is he thinking that? Focus Noah, focus!

"Well Kelly is gone now, so you should leave too," he ordered.

"Not so fast handsome. You can't just kick me out after putting me through so much distress," she pouted.

"That's your fault! You can't just show up here," Noah said angrily. Who does this woman think she is?

"I can visit my fiance anytime I want. Oh, I know how you can make it up to me," she grinned mischievously.

Noah gulped. This woman was crazy so he wasn't sure he wanted to hear what she thought of this time. "Wha...what is it?"

She unzipped her dress and let it fall on the ground before he had the chance to blink. Then pushed him down on the bed and hovered on top of him.

"Hey! What the fuck? Get off of me!" he cried.

But Serena ignored his outcry and pressed her lips on his. He grabbed the back of her head, intending to pull her off but found himself getting lost in the kiss. Just for a brief moment. He soon came to his senses and flipped her over, breaking their heated kiss.

"Stop that," he growled.

She smiled. "Even though you want me?" she pouted.

"I don't want you," he said and glared at her.

"Then why are you hard?" she asked and looked down.

Shit.

He got up immediately. "IT'S A NATURAL HUMAN REACTION, you psycho!" he objected.

She got up and picked up her dress. "Right, anyway, since you don't want it I'll leave you alone for now. But tomorrow I expect you to meet me to help me prepare for the wedding," she said as she put her dress back on.

But he promised Kelly he would meet with her tomorrow! "I can't tomorrow," he said quickly.

"Sure you can. Don't forget what position you are in Noah," Serena's eyes were hard.

"Why are you doing this to me, Serena? What did I ever do to you?" Noah asked.

"You will find out soon enough," she whispered and left the apartment.

Huh? What does that suppose to mean? he thought to himself.
