CHAPTER 13 : HOLD YOUR BREATH!

We can't do anything, if we get out of here and help her while the zombies are there, we will lose our chance to get the cure. Adam is not yet here too. What we have to do is to let her save herself right now. We don't have a choice! The old man whispered.

When the zombies are approaching near Hannah, she can't stand, walk or run because she can't get out from her position. So, she holds her breath and she didn't move. She played as a dead person, not moving, not breathing the whole time. The zombie looked at her and smelled her. The zombie looked at her the closest it can.

Andre and his dad looked at her and they get worried about her. They want to get out but they can't do anything to save Hannah but watch and see if she'll overcome it, she continuously holds her breath and keep herself quiet and don't move or else the zombie will find out that she's not a dead person but alive.

Five minutes later, the zombies entered the opposite room of the experiment room again. Andre and his father went to Hannah quickly to remove the sticky thing in her hand before the zombies come out again.

They tried to use their force to pull Hannah so she can get there but the thing is, their force is not enough to remove her from her position. They tried it for many times until Hannah stayed there for one and half hour. The zombies are inside the opposite room when the three are talking about what strategy they will do to make her out of her position. They did everything according to their plan but it doesn't work.

The zombies came out and go straight to Hannah position again and again. This moment she lost her opportunity to play like a dead person, she wasn't able to go back to her former position. The zombies are smart as her, they noticed that Hannah's position that time has changed. They made them think that she's alive so they all came closer to her in a round position.

Inevitably, she sneezed because of the bad odor she smelled when a zombie came closer to her nose. She accidentally opened her eyes and covered her mouth and in return they bite Hannah in her different body parts. She sighed like her whole body hurts. She has bite on her face too. After five (5) minutes, Andre and his dad run towards her. They saw Hannah lost her consciousness because of the bites she got from the zombies.

Andre tried to wake her up by gently tapping her face while the old man tried to wake her up by pinching her arm. They can talk to each other that moment because it will cause noise and sound that may distract the zombies they just continued doing their own way to wake her up. They also noticed that Hannah got many bites from the zombies.

But...

Unluckily, they weren't able to wake her up until the zombies came out again. Upon observing, they witnessed how Hannah is having a hard time from seizuring like no one is beside her to control her. They can't go outside to help her. The old man and his son just covered their face for them not to see Hannah's body getting weaker and weaker while she's having seizures. But even if they can't see her, they felt the same way. It really hurts seeing a lady that way and they can't do nothing about it. They decided not to come again in her position even the zombies are inside the opposite room, they are both afraid that Hannah might attack them. They are both thinking that Hannah might become a zombie and join the group of zombies out there.

Surprisingly, after five (5) minutes her wounds coming from zombie bites disappeared and she wakes up lively.

The two was amazed seeing her, and they were about to go straight that moment to help her but their timing wasn't that good enough. Why? The zombies came out and approaching to come back in her direction.

So instead of continuing their plan, they've decided to hide first and go straight to her position when the zombies entered the opposite room again. Safety first.

Son, we need to step back for our safety, said the old man.

After 2 hours of moving around the lab, he finally saw the experiment room. He saw the label at the top of the door. "Anderson's Gate Experiment" and the three are still outside the room. He thought they already got the clue, the old man is talking about before the entered the lab. He saw Hannah trying to remove something on her hand.

Hey! Guys! What happened here? asked Adam. Hannah what's that?

I was stucked here Adam. Help me. I can't remove my hand here in this sticky thing. This thing was like a gum that sticked on my hand. The gum was as old as the years when this laboratory got abandoned.

I think that's the main reason why you can't get out there. The more you try to remove it, the more it will stay on your hand, the old man whispered.

They pulled Hannah using their force to get out of her from being stucked at her position.

Luckily, they successfully removed Hannah's hand from the sticky one. That sticky thing was removed too and from there the bottle came out yet accidentally breaks and they saw something inside of it. It is a small rolled paper inside of it. Five (5) minutes later, zombies came out again, and they hide again but they failed to get the broken bottle with a small rolled paper inside.

Adam carried Hannah together with the old man and his son, they hide again quietly. Again, they don't a have choice but to hide and wait for the perfect timing to open the Experiment room. But before that, they have to get the correct password finding the clues around the room.
