CHAPTER 14: SWEET MOMENTS

Adam! You're back, Hannah hugged Adam so tight and she wiped Adam's sweat in his face. Thank God you're okay. The old man and his son smiled, they felt their love for each other by seeing them looking at each other's eyes. The love for each other is very genuine.

Adam holds Hannah's hands while she's wiping his sweat. Whatever happens I will be fine because I know you are always beside me, he messed up Hannah's hair and pinched her nose. Everything freezes, the time stops. Yes! That moment is something like you'll feel how much they love each other. The lady who showed her concern to the man who's always protecting him. The man who stole her heart, Adam.

Hey! The two pushed them to each other which caused their lips touched each other. Both of them were shocked and they pushed each other away from oneself. The father and son laughed at them, the laugh with unique happiness when they saw the reaction on Adam and Hannah's face, they witnessed how happy they are together when they see each other again. Love is in the air! Wooohoooohhhh! said the two chasing them love birds.

Hmmm! Let's go! We have to unlock this room before the zombies attack us. Sorry I'll cut this moment, you're allowed to continue that romantic excitement you felt about what you have seen going on to us, she turned back and rolled her eyes and secretly touch her lip using her finger. Adam, please not now, she whispered seeing how happy she was when she said that.

Adam hugged her from the back and whispered, "I love you Hannah"

Hannah pushed him and said, "Hey! What do you think you are doing huh?" Come on! a smile painted on her face that time. Let's find for the clue. I think the clue has something to do with that broken bottle with a small rolled paper inside. We have to find and get it, she added.

Hannah is right, we are running out of time. We need to find the clues around the area so we can get the correct password of the room, Andre agrees.

Please you two, give me 15 minutes to talk to her. Just fifteen (15) minutes and after that I promise, we will proceed finding the clues, Adam requested. I want to be with her for a few minutes. Aside from that let me tell you what I had experienced making myself as a bait for you to be safe, he added.

And I think it will be better if we will tell you what happened to us too. We really struggled for two (2) because of that sticky thing she accidentally touched, Andre said in low energy tone.

Hannah made my nervous system works accordingly at high risk. My son and I was worried about her when the zombies bite her. She got a lot of wounds, I thought she will become a zombie the time she experienced seizures, the old man explained.

If you were in our position that moment, you will worry too for sure. More worried like seeing her losing her strength as time passes by, the old man continued.

I'm sorry Adam, we weren't able to save her from the zombies a while ago, Andre apologized and bowed his head.

I'm good now, Hannah uttered. You don't have to worry about my condition. I feel strong right now. I don't know Adam but just like you my wounds faded slowly and disappeared too, Hannah said.

Babe, please be careful next time huh? I'm glad you had antibodies which can fight to the virus. But what if you don't have it? I might die if I lose the lady I really love. Please promise me, you'll be safe and you will take care of yourself, you will protect yourself especially with the time I'm not beside you to protect you, Adam uttered in a worried tone. He held Hannah's head and lean it to his shoulder, "I love you Hannah, I will do everything to protect you, I will give you even my life just to protect you", Adam whispered.

Hannah hugged her and whispered, "When you left me to move the zombies away, I felt worried about you, I felt scared not for myself but for your life." Many things can happen in two (2) hours. God knows how worried I am. There are some questions on my mind like "Are you fine?" "Are you safe?" I am frightened! I am so scared what if that's the last time I saw you. That moment, I realized I love you, Adam, I whispered near his ear.

Andre and his dad felt how much Adam loves Hannah. They heard what Adam  whispered that's why.

That man is really brave, even his own life he will give just to protect the lady he really loves. I want to be like him dad, Andre told his dad.

He's not just brave son, he's man enough to love a lady because he knows how to sacrifice his life. He knows how to protect and he knows how to take care of Hannah, the old man added.

From their position, the old man and his son saw Adam holding Hannah's head and kissed Hannah in her forehead. "That's the sign of respect son, he kissed her in forehead to show the lady how much he respects her. That's the right thing to do son." The old man said when he saw his son's face frowned.

I know what's on your mind, why did he kissed her in the forehead instead of lips right? Well, I told you the answer with it, the old man added.

That's oldies belief dad, in our generation that'a what you call losing a chance kissing a lady, Andre said.

Well, we are all different from one another. Adam is not like the leading men you have watched in different series and movies. You are still young to think of that by the way, the old man told him sarcastically.
