CHAPTER 12: THE STRUGGLE IS REAL!!!

Weapons that may not kill anyone. They are still hoping that they will save all the zombies and get them back to their normal life. They all believed that they can save them in their own way. Hurting but not killing them.

They wear hoody jackets, pants, facemask, and boots for safety. They walk inside quietly neither sounds nor noise heard as they entered the laboratory. They looked around and rolled their eyes and there are zombies everywhere. In every path, hallway they tried to walk slowly and make sure that the zombies will not hear anything even a bit noise from them to distract the zombies.

But they failed... when the Andre's phone rings, the old man's son.

Hoooohhhh! Sorry guys! said Andre and immediately put it on a silent mode.

Ohhh no! The zombies, look at them they were walking in our direction. I think they heard your phone ringing. Their ears are very attentive and alert when they hear sounds, Adam whispered. I still remember what you said grandpa when we are in the abandoned train. Zombies have poor eyesight, they can't see us clearly unless they heard any noise or sounds from us.

He thinks fast what's the best thing to do to get them away from the old man and his son. He wants to take Hannah with him but he was alarmed that if he will take Hannah with him he might get the lady in harm. So, he decided to did his idea alone since he knows that he has the antibodies that can fight for the virus. He is unsure if Hannah has the antibodies like what he has but to make sure that the lady is safe he thought to leave her to the old man and his son.

Guys! I have an idea. I will do my best to get them away from here for you to get inside the room that grandpa is talking about, Adam uttered.

Adam, don't do that! Don't leave me, Hannah pleased him not to go and she holds Adam's hand. Pleaaaasssseeee! If you will go and continue your plan, I will join you, she begged.

Hannah, I'm doing this for you and for all people who need the cure. Go with them because I know they'll protect you the way I protect you right Andre? Grandpa? Adam said without doubt. Trust me I can do it alone. He take off his hand with Hannah though he still wants to hold her hand so tight but he don't even change his mind so he pushed them away because the zombies are near to them. His hand gestures saying Goooooo! Leave!

The old man together with Hannah and Andre reached the room they are looking for, while Adam runs and moves the zombies away so the three can come up with a plan on how they will get inside the Experiment Room. Adam made himself as bait so the zombies will follow him and not pay their attention to the three.

Unfortunately as what expected, the three weren't able to get inside the room because of the forgotten password.

While Adam is running, he saw different rooms. Grandpa's lab is so amazing. Until, he saw the biggest room where he thinks they can put the zombies while the cure is not yet discovered. He entered the biggest room quietly and pressed something that may cause noise or sound so the zombies will follow him when he gets inside of it. The room was messy and dirty, it looks like a stock room, there are spider webs, ants and different insects living there for years, signs that the laboratory was abandoned for many years.

The zombies followed him like what he planned, they also entered to the room where Adam entered. When he got the chance to come out, he locked the zombies inside the said room. He ensured that they can't go out of there before he left. Then, he tried to find the experiment room where Hannah, Andre and the old man are.

On the other hand, in the hallway going to the experiment room, Hannah saw three zombies walking from left to right, then turn right to left and open the door of the opposite room. They are all looks like a hungry lion who are trying to find food to eat to make its stomach full and satisfy its cravings. Their salivas were getting out of their mouth.

Have you noticed them moving? They do the same moves after 5 minutes, Andre observed. Try to watch them after 5 minutes, he added.

While thinking, Hannah trampled something sticky like a chewing gum. She tried to look at it but the zombies came out to the opposite room and they hide again. After 5 minutes, the zombies done the same moves. So, Hannah find the sticky one and she tried to remove it.

Andre, Grandpa, help me. This sticky one, I can't remove it, she used her force to remove her hand on it but it takes her 5 minutes and the zombies came out again, of course they hide again as usual.

They go back and help Hannah remove her hand on it, they used their force but it's very sticky so they take 5 minutes again and the zombies came out again. They thought their force is enough to get her out of stuck.

But this time the father and son hide and they didn't notice that Hannah is not at their back like what their usual position when they hide. They looked into a hole and they saw Hannah. She can't remove that sticky thing on her hand that made her stucked in that position.

Ohhh no dad! Hannah is in danger. How can we help her now? Andre asked his dad.
