Chapter 6

A few moments passed and my sister was wheeled out from the room into the hallway, They stopped at my front and i kissed her forehead "i love you Ju" I whispered and watched as they left, tears clouded my vision as i watched my sister being wheeled into the surgery theatre. I sat at the hallway praying and hoping everything turns out perfectly

I don't know how long i sat there for, being anxious and hopeful. My palms began to sweat so much, i had no control over it *This couple of days i have come to realize that whenever i was anxious or nervous my palms tend to sweat a lot. I sighed and walked towards the restroom, i washed my hands and went back to sit at the hallway, i wiped the sweat that was beginning to form on my forehead and i brought out my phone to check the time, i saw that two hours had passed and i was still sitting there.

I sat down there anxiously waiting for them to come back, About an hour had passed and June was wheeled out of the room, Doctor comes to meet me removing his hand gloves and looks at me"Aubrey, the surgery was successful, now we have to wait for June to wake up" he says and i nod

"That means everything went well" i asked him again and he nods

"Can i see her now?" I ask him

"No you can't, she needs to be under surveillance for at least 24 hours and you can see her afterwards " he tells me

"Okay Doctor, Thank you very much " i tell him and he nods

I watched as he walks away and my phone starts to ring and i picked it

"Hello" I answered and i heard some shuffling over the phone

"Meet me in my office now" He said and hung up

No one needed to tell me it was mr obnoxious calling" i rolled my eyes and walked towards the elevator. I got upstairs and went straight to his office, i knocked and waited a while till i heard a come in, walking in i saw him standing with some files in his hands and he looks up at me, he dropped the files

"I'm taking you for a test " he removes his coat and he beckoned on me to follow him, he opens the door and I follow him begrudgingly

*you could've just come downstairs and called me to meet you, but no he wanted to stress my ass and called me upstairs*

*i made some silly faces behind him and he stops abruptly at my front, with me halting behind him

"What do you think you are doing uh?" He says and i gasp

*this man has eyes behind his ear*

"N-n-nothing" I stuttered and we continued walking, we got into the elevator and took it to the ground floor, he pressed something on his car keys and the car beeped

"Get in" he muttered and we got into the car

"Don't you know how to fasten your seatbelt?" He says and i looked at him

"I know how to use a seatbelt alright " Mr obnoxious i said i my mind

He starts driving and shortly we arrived at a hospital, he urges me to get down and i did and we start to walk inside "Good morning Doctor " a nurse greets him and i looked at him again

*Why was he treated so respectfully, how can people not see what a blockhead he is*

He nods at the nurse and continues walking, with me strutting behind him.

He stops at a door and knocks, we heard a come in and went in

"Good morning Doctor " The man greets us and smiles, Mr obnoxious nods at him and gestures at me to sit down of which I respectfully did

 "Good morning " i greeted the blonde man and he smiles at me

"Good morning Miss" he greets me and we all sit down.

"I need to you to test her, if she's capable of being pregnant, and all those necessities to make sure she's okay.

*Mr Doctor obnoxious white* says and the Blonde man nods

"Okay sir" he smiles at me and gestures for me to follow him while mr obnoxious sat down with his phone as though he wasn't interested in what was going on

I followed the blonde man into a room and we started with the test, the whole thing was done and i went back to meet him at the doctor's office

 “Are you done?" He asks me and i nod, the blonde Doctor walks in after me and sits down, with the test result in his hand and he looks at us

"She is perfectly fine and her womb is okay to carry a child" he says and i smile internally

"Thank goodness " mr obnoxious stands up

"I don't need to tell you not to mention this meeting with anyone " he tells Mr blonde man

The blonde man nods "yes Doctor " he replies him and we walk out of his office together

*why do people always listen to everything this man says, he is just a doctor like the rest of them*

"Are you going to get in the car or are you just going to stand there, waiting for me to invite you in" he says and i walk quickly towards the car and opened the door

"We would go to the gynecologist tomorrow, so I hope you get ready i would pick you up at your house" he tells me and i nod

"I will be at the hospital for my sister so you don't need to pick me up at home" i say and he smirks at me

"I would pick you up at home, I don't need everyone seeing you with me" he says nonchalantly

As if that comment didn't hurt my ego,i was simply lying because it more than hurt me. I wasn't so bad to not be seen with, i might not be well dressed or have a good skin, but that wasn't all of it, I have a long dark curly hair, blue eyes and a pretty straight nose and plump lips, facially i like to think i am alright " i sighed and nodded

A few blocks away from the hospital he parked and looked at me and i looked at him confused

"Get down, i just told you I don't need everyone seeing us together, once was enough " he says

and i nod, I opened the car and got down standing i watched as he drove off

I wiped the tears that had fallen down my cheeks

*i wish I didn't have to resort to be this man's surrogate, I would've preferred working as a janitor*

I shook my head and started walking towards the hospital, i got in and went straight to the Doctor's office and knocked, i went in when I heard a come in
