Pillow

VALENTINA RODRIGUEZ POV

I never sleep contently than this one.

This pillow is giving me the warmth that I never had before. I just want to snuggle and continue to sleep with its warmness.

That was until I heard something.

Thump... Thump... Thump...

What was that?

I furrow my eyebrows and listen again.

Thump... Thump... Thump...

I open my eyes, and the sight of a chiselled chest greeted me made me sat up as quickly as I can.

I instinctively put my hand on my head and close my eyes feeling the dizziness kicking my head. After a few seconds, I open my eyes, squinting at the able body that lay in front of me on my bed.

Thud! Thud! Thud!

My heartbeat increased, seeing him lay in front of me. Shirtless!

I blink my eyes a few times and pinch my cheeks hard. I hiss at the pain, and I realized that this is not a dream. It’s real!

My breath hitched. How the hell did he manage to come in here?! I want to scream, but I bite my lips to keep it in. My robots might shoot him dead if I do.

My eyes ran greedily on his exposed upper body as I gulped. I’m relieved that my blanket still covers his lower-half. I notice a black forming on his upper body, but most of the bruises and cuts formed on his face.

His lips were busted. Hmm... Must be from the guys. I ran my eyes shamelessly on his face and frown when I saw his eyebrows furrowed. I wanted to reach out and put his eyebrows into its supposed place.

I shake my head and got out of bed and head to the bathroom to take a shower.

To be honest, I actually want to give him a wake-up gift with my fist but decide against it. The thought of him searching for me almost melted my heart.

He didn’t wake me up to punish me and instead dare to sleep beside me. A sign that he was ready for me to lashed out at him for once instead of the opposite. He takes the beating from the guys for lying to me shows that he regretted what he did.

I look at the mirror, and my eyes widen when I saw something glistening on my chin. I look closer at my face on the mirror and gasp.

It was drool! I never drool after I woke up.

Don’t tell me I drooled while looking at Keith’s body?

I wiped my mouth with my hand as my face goes red. This is so embarrassing. Thank God, Keith is still asleep. I swear, I will not eye-raped his body anymore!

Removing my clothes, I close my eyes as I sighed when the water pours onto my body.

My thoughts were all jumbled up.

Should I forgive him for lying to me?

After a few minutes, I stepped out from the shower and dried myself using a towel from the cabinet in my bathroom. I walk out with only the towel wrapped tightly around my body.

Keith is still sleeping. Thank god.

I walk to another room, which is my closet.

I grab a purple tank top and black short pants along with my black lace bra’s and underwear. I slide on the clothes and step out of the room.

Keith was nowhere in sight and panicked slightly. I breathed a sigh of relief when I heard a shower being turned on. I guess I had to lend him my brothers clothes that I kept here.

I sneaked some of their clothes into my luggage when I was about to move in here. Just in case I miss them. I sigh, looking at the clothes in my hand. I miss them.

I make up the bed before putting my brother’s clothes on the bed and silently walk downstairs. I walked into the kitchen and saw Max, my robot worker, walking towards me.

I quickly type on its tab to notify it and the others that I had a guest. I don’t want Keith to be shoot with a laser. At least, not yet.
