Power of the Spirit owner

"I wish... If you have known about the spirit owner's, then you might also know that not everyone can be the spirit owner, they are born with special powers, unlike us where, every descendant has equal chances of inheriting the dark inn. Because of this very reason, the old spirit owner starts becoming weak when the next owner is born. Unlike us who can change the owner every generation or whenever wanted or needed, the spirit owners are changed every two or sometimes three generations. It is very difficult to weaken them for a small mistake. There are many more things that you will learn as you progress. You both should be careful, avoid if you can or bow down if you can't." Father Gu spoke with sadness evident in his eyes. 

"Got it father." Spoke both brothers unanimously.

Early morning,

Getting up from the bed, Tian Tian noticed that she was again late for school which was actually nothing out of the blue, quickly showering and grabbing a bread toast she left her house with messy hairs, comb in one hand, hair tie wrapped on her wrist and a glass of milk in another hand.

Quickly locking the door, she ran and stuck her foot in the nearly closing lift.

'Oh, someone new in the building, looks like a beauty...  Only if his face would be clearly visible.' Thought Tian Tian while entering the lift and apologizing.

'I apologized, can't he just at least acknowledge, how rude. Huh... Rude people are not beauty.' Thinking so she started eating the bread and drinking the milk from the glass in her hand.

Walking towards her car, she opened and sat on the back seat while telling the driver to drive her to school.

Looking at Tian Tian through the mirror the driver murmured while sighing, "Young miss, can you get up early for one day at least?"

Giggling she answered, "Oh come on Uncle Bai, if I get up early, how will I utilize the time while traveling, in fact, I am the smartest." saying so she started combing her messy hairs and tied them into a high ponytail, then she started applying her favorite lip balm.

Inside the classroom,

Tian Tian was sitting on her desk while trying to skim through the topics and remember as much as she can.

Slapping her back Si Tu Mo spoke, "Don't worry, there will be no test today as…"

Closing her ear's she kept on studying without paying any attention to her best friend's words.

Noticing that Tian Tian was ignoring her, Si Tu Mo snatched the book that she was reading and forcefully removed her hands from her ears while again saying, "There's no test today."

Snapping at her Tian Tian tried to grab her book back while saying, "Don't speak nonsense. There is a test today. I remember clearly."

Raising the book higher, Si Tu Mo said in a low voice as if telling a secret, " I heard from my dad that a new student is joining and today will be his first day so the test has been canceled."

"New student? We are almost halfway through the semester, how can anyone join at this point? Your dad surely was joking... Hehe... Fool MOMO." Teasing her Tian tian grabbed her book and started reading again.

Before Si Tu Mo could speak and explain that she was not lying the professor Mi entered along with a new boy.

"Good morning class, we have a new student joining our class from today." Spoke the professor

Raising her head from the book Tian Tian looked at the professor and then at the boy who was supposed to join their class. Pinching her from the back Si Tu Mo teased her for neglecting her advice.

Not paying any attention to her best friend, she was busy looking at the boy who was standing beside professor Mi. 'Why does he look so similar?' Thought Tian Tian while scratching her head.

"Hello everyone, I am Gu Shen. I have just transferred, please take care of me."  Gu Shen introduced himself.

"Okay, Gu Shen you can take the empty seat next to Tian Tian. Tian Tian, Gu Shen has been a ranker all along. With him, sitting beside you will give you more opportunity to study. So study well and use this opportunity well." Professor Mi explained and gestured Gu Shen to take his seat beside Tian Tian.

Looking at the new boy coming towards herself, she remembered and quickly asked him in a low voice as he sat on the seat beside her, "Hey, aren't you the one in the lift, in the morning?"

Looking at him not paying any attention to her Tian Tian just said nonchalantly to vent her thoughts, "I had already apologized to you. Some people should be thought that not replying is kind of rude."

'If this girl could stop talking and distracting me, I could focus on the energy that I feel over here.' Thought Gu Shen and tried to focus his energy to find out the source of energy.

Since the moment he came he had a weird feeling surrounding him. It was a very new feeling for him, not that he had never dealt with ghosts but this energy that he was feeling was kind of different.

Gu Shen was constantly closing his eyes to gather his powers and then opening his eyes and scanning the room to search for spirits or the energy source. But the only thing that he was able to see was humans and nothing else.

Tian Tian was sitting near the window which gives her better access to the garden, while Gu Shen was sitting beside her on the joint chair.

After everyone settled down, professor Mi informed everyone, "The test today will be postponed to next week. I hope everyone can utilize this extra time to study much well and get higher marks than their expected score."

Hearing that the weekly test was postponed everyone in the class was happy and jumped in joy. Tian Tian also looked back and gave a hug to her best friend who did make an attempt to inform her.

Teacher Mi started teaching after the class calmed down, while Tian Tian began to daydream, along with focusing on the class a little bit as usual.
