Author: Varsha Chindam" And till the end, you’re my very best friend.”
Elora
The day went good, I quite enjoyed my first day. I was happy to see positive faces in the class. I think they started liking me by the way they smiled. If you want to understand your students you need to have a better and good connection with them.
I don’t have any particular work to do, I drove to the cafe to pass my time. I want to renovate the whole place. I like the vibes but I want to make it more interesting. The cafe is always bustling with high schoolers and students. I will think about the changes I wanna do when I reach there.
“Hey, Jack! ”
“Hey sweetie, how was your first day?!”
“Peaceful, they didn’t trouble me or made any comments so far.”
“I am sure they gonna love you, wanna grab something? ”
“Yes please, my stomach is growling.” I said to which he laughed.
“Sandwich is Okay with you, right? ”
“Yup! ”
I observed the whole place to see there were few kids sitting in the booths while drawing something, to the left side girls were doing their homework’s. The outside is filled with couples and boys.
“Hey Jack, I don’t know that kids also spend their time here.” I said frowning my eyebrows.
“Ohh, as you see most of the parents don’t have time for their kids. They leave them alone with their nannies, few elder children who don’t like to be home come here to do their homework’s.”
“Ohh, ” I said and I already know what is in my mind right now.
We can make a small kid section removing their booths as they are filled with kids, it is better if I turn it into kid section where they can do whatever they want.
Maybe I will hire someone to teach them and tell stories. They can improve their skills.
I went through the account books of the cafe, made some notes about the budget and bills. I decided to add Indian snacks to the menu. I want them to try something new, it will also help to raise the profits. I want to hire two people who would help Mary and jack.
I decided to add a bookshelf with different novels and storybooks, people who come here to have some alone time can grab a book from the shelf and enjoy their alone time.
I want to hang the flowerpots inside the cafe, the walls of the cafe are windows so it would look good if I arrange few flower pots near the tables. It would give a good vibe to the cafe also.
I made a board saying “I know you don’t care about your life as you smoke but the thing is my plants are more precious than your cigarette. With due respect smoke outside.”
I made sure that the board is seen by many and everyone. Even at the entrance, I put one.
I made a call to the furniture man with the help of Jack and talked about the bookshelf and building a kid section with wood.
When everything was done, I walked into the kitchen and helped Mary. Mary is the head cook and jack helps her. From now on I will be helping her with the food. There are no waiters to serve because here the rule is self-service. Give your order and wait for your food, collect it when it’s done.
I wrote down a list of groceries that need to be filled in the fridge. We are low on carrots, cheese, bell peppers, and some other things. Jack took the photo and sent to the person who supplies the goods to the cafe.
I had my dinner with Jack and Mary in their home. They insisted on having a good dinner with them. I enjoyed every second of it, I don’t like to eat alone and being with them made me feel like home.
I reached home a little bit late and did a facetime to my mom. I told her about my day and asked her about hers. Sitara would comment in between nothing lessly we are habituated to her sarcastic behaviour.
I told her about the people I met and the friends I made. I also told her about my dinner with Jack’s. She was happy that someone was there to make sure I ate.
“Mumma, you think I would miss my food? Hell no! I would never miss eating my food.”
“Yeah, that’s why you look like a cow, unprofessional cow!” sitara said.
“It is a wonder that one unprofessional cow is calling another one as an unprofessional cow.” I said with the same sarcasm.
“Stop it you both.” mumma scolded.
I said my goodbyes before ending the call and felling in a deep sleep.

In Your Arms Epilogue
After 20 years Xavier "Where you guys are?" "We will be in ten minutes papa, Xaiden is taking time and I don't know where he went." "Hurry up before your mama and sister come. Your mama will be getting angry if you guys are late, don't expect me to help you both like last time." "Yeah...Yeah... You went home early without telling me." "Were you with me to tell you that I'm going home." "He is here, will see you papa." Just when Nikolai ended the call my wife Elora and my sixteen-year-old daughter Xahria entered the hall with their bags. "Papa! you came home early!" Xahria yelled happily rushing towards me throwing her bags on the floor. I hugged her tightly when she wrapped both of her arms around me. "Can't wait to see my baby." I told her and s

Elora I opened my eyes when I felt someone trace their fingers on my face. Sleepily I looked at Xavier who sat on the vanity chair adjacent me. "When did you wake up?" I asked him. "Five o'clock." I turned to the left side where our clock is. "Why did you woke up so early?" "I made us breakfast and you need to take your tablets." I smiled at him, opening my arms I gestured him to come closer. He took the place beside me while I wrapped my arms around him. I placed a kiss on his head while he placed his hand on my little bump. "You are the best husband do you know that." I tell him as he turned on his sideways and hugged me caringly. "You are the best that ever happened in my life, love." Xavier is now going through a very emotional rollercoaster ride. When the news of my pregnancy confirmed he became very emotion

Elora "You want another one?" I asked Cyrus who is eating his breakfast. "Two." "Five minutes." I smiled at him as he is trying to come out of his solitude. It's not easy to mend with others so quickly when your heart is hurt. "You aren't even caring me, I sat here for ten minutes and you didn't even ask me whether I need another one." Xavier complained with a pouting face. "I taught you this recipe Xavier, make for yourself." I place the hot dosa on Cyrus plate while Cyrus chuckled seeing Xavier's face. "I'm going to get ready. I don't wanna talk with you both." Xavier said dramatically leaving the kitchen while I and Cyrus rolled our eyes. "You are meeting them?" Cyrus questioned. "Yes." "I don't think Xavier would be happy knowing about that." "I w

Elora "I can't find this kid." "Let me see." I showed the photo of the kid to Xavier who was laying beside me. While he was looking at the kid I tied my hair into a bun. "He must've changed his name, I will share this photo with my hacker. He will be emailing you rest of the details." "I need to travel if I want to meet them." I tell him. "You are not going to travel alone." "But Xavier I really don't need any bodyguards. I know self-defence." "I can't take a risk when it comes to you. Take four of my men with you or you aren't going." he removed my hair from the bun. "Fine." I say wrapping my arms around his torso while he massaged my head. We are back to London and Xavier showed me his childhood mansion where we are staying now. From now on this is our home and I'm very
