“Actions, because we’re both so bad with words.”

First day :

I can clearly say that I’m gonna lose my mind in deciding what to wear. Its quarter to 07:00 am, I need to be at university by 09:00 am as I need to report my joining to the university.

Finally, I decided to wear a white crop top, beige blazer, skinny trousers with chunky heels. After I am done with my attire, I had my brightest smile on my face satisfied with my look. I decided to tie my hair into a loose ponytail and left some strands cupping my face. 

I decided to have my breakfast at my cafe. an old couple takes care of the cafe so I can have my breakfast happily there and it takes me 15 minutes or so to reach university so, hurry. I am so, glad that mary a.k.a the old lady who is just like my granny made pancakes with chocolate syrup.

I fell in love with Mary when she offered me my breakfast with a heartful smile. Did I say that I had loved at first sight by seeing Jack and Mary a.k.a old couple? They were so caring and lovely which I love the most.

The cafe is an outdoor garden cafe for tree lovers.

I decided to buy this cafe because of its greenery and well I’m a nature lover. And it’s peaceful to spend my time here with Jack and mary rather being alone at home.

I said my goodbyes to jack and mary and gave them a hug which I felt homie.

I reached the campus on time, I parked my car in the empty spot. I got out of my car and watched as students started walking towards their friends, some of them were talking. I smiled before going for the staff room.

Shawn midson pov :

“Man heard that we gonna have a new lecturer for political science.” Seb said who is my best friend from kindergarten.

“Don’t blame me it’s your mistake who the hell tries to put their eyeliner in the car and don’t shout when I apply brakes.”Brian said to his twin briya

“You should say me before you apply brakes you idiot and I have every right to shout because of you look what happened to my face you dick head!”

“These twins.” Seb says watching Brian and briya.

“Hey bro how was your summer vacation?” brian asked us.

“Well my vacation was like always but this time we went to our private beach house in Miami.” I said

“Mine was at granny home.” Seb said.

“Well heard that Jack williams is back and we gonna share same classes.” seb said which made briya go stiff. Brian’s eyes softened looking at briya

“Hay!! I am fine I’m over him so, don’t give me pity looks.” briya shrugged off as it is not a big deal.

We all know that Jack and briya were in a long-distance relationship but when jack went states he doesn’t want to have a long-distance relationship so they eventually broke up that’s what briya says. But no one knows what was the actual reason.

Soon Jerry, Harris, Milly join us, we all were like a squad buy Milly doesn’t join us very well because she belongs to nerd category that’s the reason which makes me protect her.

Harris and milly are cousins. Harris is also like seb, when I saw milly in my seventh grade I developed some feelings for her but never showed nor I talked to her properly. she always stays to her self which makes it hard for me to talk to her. She never speaks to me until unless she wants to know about Harris when he doesn’t answer his phone.

I tilt my head to Seb’s side to see what he was saying. His mouth is wide open and eyes are wide open as saucers watching something with awe in his eyes, frowning I looked at what he is seeing. 

There stood a girl with a perfect body, curves at the right place, tan coloured body with a beautiful smile which made all the peeps in the room to watch her with awestruck eyes including me, but we can say that she is a shorty but she is a hot mess

“Hello, everyone! I am Elora Srivastav, your new pol.science lecturer and it’s nice to meet you all people, consider me as one of your class members and be free.” she said making everyone shock.

Pure shock’ you can see in all faces. The fucking lie she can’t be our lecturer, she is far from being one, and no lecturer in my life is this young like her, she may be just 18 years old like us I thought.

“How old are you?” Questions Harris.

For which she sweetly smiles before saying: ” a person should never question a women’s age and men’s bank balance !” with a wink. Whole class laughs at Harris face.

“Okay now leave the poor boy and introduce yourself,” she says to everyone.

“I guess I fell in love ’- brian says for which we all chock on our food because he never loved any girl or had fucked anyone▪ by which we all that he is a gay but truth to be told he wasn’t. brian doesn’t believe in one night stands or love.

“Ohh!! Who is that lucky girl or boy? briya asked with slight amusement in her voice.

“Hay! You are my twin you should not doubt me, obviously its a girl you ass!!” he said,

“Haha, then who is that? Then?” she asked him.

Brian gives an evil smile and says “Miss Elora”

“What? What?” The whole squad shouts.

“Back off man, that lady is mine!" shouts seb. For which briya makes shhh!! Sound and milly chuckles. No matter how hot that lecture is, but no-one is good enough for me than milly. I really want milly to make mine and call her my milly, sit with her in the canteen, share our secrets.

“Shawnn ! My man! What are you thinking?” seb asked me.

“Erm..? What?” I ask as all the eyes are on me now.

“I asked you what you think of miss. Elora?” he asked.

“Well she is hot with a beautiful smile and she has this positive vibes around her so, I guess she is a good person and for me, she is like my sister!” I said. When I look up at milly she stares at me with wide eyes. Which made me a little bit confused?

But then seb speaks up “Dude did you just say that she is like your sis?”

“I can’t believe it the playboy is saying a hot lady as sis?? You are not Shawn”

“Just chill man! I don’t wanna see her in that way! When I saw her I got a feeling like a sibling because I don’t have one. So, don’t get me wrong and don’t mention her as hot because I like her and see her as my sister; better not to mention nasty words.” I tell them.

The whole group fell silent then briya speaks up ” woah!! So the bad boy is changing ah? So, who’s the one? For whom the very playboy is changing?!" She asks with curiosity.

I just cut her words and started eating my food but I slowly look at milly she has her head down but a smile is on her lips.

Well, maybe this year I can try.
