After I had been sitting in the tree for about an hour, I watched as Cassie and Leah left the house. Cassie looked towards me and waved. I was not sure what she wanted or why she was waving, but as her and Leah got into the car and pull out of the driveway, I decided to follow them. It did not take long for me to realise that they were driving towards my house and that Cassie's wave was her way of getting my attention and get me to follow them. When they got near to my house, I teleported myself to the entrance and transform into my human form.

I did not bother to go inside the house, instead I waited for them by the porch. I watched as they drove into the driveway, and wondered what Cassie was going to tell me. From our earlier interaction, I got the feeling that Cassie did still want to see me, but maybe it was just a side effect from the feelings that I had felt from our hug earlier. Either way I was excited to see her again and find out why she had been avoiding me lately.

I started walking towards the car. When Cassie gets out of the car, I gave her a big hug, she did not seem to mind. The familiar shock went through me, but this time, instead of just getting a feeling or a quick glimpse of some lost memory, I saw a whole scene in my head of me and Cassie laying together in a field, laughing and making up stories of the clouds passing by. I looked down at Cassie and smiled, our eyes connected, and I wondered if something similar had just happened to Cassie. Leah cleared her throat, and I realised that I was still holding on to Cassie, I let go of her and gave Leah a nod. She said bye to Cassie and me before she drove away. I looked back at Cassie, eager to get the conversation started, so I could figure out what was going on.

"Care to explain what all of this is about?" I asked as we started to make our way back to the house.

Cassie looked around, before she looked up at me.

"Let's go inside first, it's a little bit chilly out here."

As soon as she mentioned that she was cold, I realised that she was right. The air had started to become a bit chilly, I guess the summer was truly over. I knew that we were not very far from the front door and that it would only take us a few minutes to get inside, but I decided to conjure up my jacket and place it over Cassie's shoulders. I was not sure why I did it but hopefully it would help in keeping Cassie warm for the time it took us to get inside.

After we walked through the door and into the living room, I watched as Cassie took a seat on the sofa. I positioned myself in the sofa so that I was facing her. I wanted to give her time and not rush her, so I patiently sat there in silence, just watching her. Cassie seemed a bit unsure but started talking very fast.

"Abigail wants you to come around for dinner and Mark doesn't like you"

It took some time for me to realise what she just said, but even when I do, I struggled to understand how that was important. Was this really the reason why she had been avoiding me? I did not really know how to respond, and I was not sure if there was more, so I just stayed quiet, hoping that she would elaborate. I watched Cassie and I could see that she was upset and worried. She started talking again but it was almost like word vomit, rushing to say the words.

"I don't want you to think that I am crazy, we only just met, and we are not even dating, and I don't want to scare you away..."

Before I even knew what I was doing, I reached over and gave her a kiss. She was reading way too much into everything. Human emotions could be so complex, especially from a teenager.

The electric shock that followed the kiss, caused a clear memory of me and Cassie in the fields to enter my mind, only the girl, that I know as Cassie, was called Katie. The realisation pulled me back to reality. I looked back at Cassie, but she was just staring blankly into the distance. I started to worry.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to do that, I don't know what came over me"

I was still holding Cassie, but she did not seem to respond, it was like she had not even heard me. I shook her lightly, hoping it would help to wake her up from whatever was going on with her, but there was still no response.

"Cassie, are you okay? I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that. Please tell me that you are okay. We will pretend it never happened, just go back to before, you won't ever have to see me again. Just, please say something..."

I was panicking. I had no clue what had happened, but I obviously caused it somehow. If only I had not kissed her, then maybe she would still be okay. Even though I was still holding on to her, it was like she was not in her body any more. I was getting desperate, I did not know what to do, or how to fix it. I could not exactly tell Nick what had happened, he would not be pleased. Maybe I could try to get Cassie to Freya, she would know what was going on and get Cassie back to her normal self. I was a bit lost in thoughts on what to do when my thoughts got interrupted.

"You sound like you killed something"

Cassie was back, and she was talking, relief flooded through me.

"I thought I had, you went completely still and non- responsive, I thought I broke you."

I could not bring myself to take my eyes of her, as I was still in shock and worried that she would phase out on me again, but I released my grip on her. A little smile appeared on Cassie's face.

"I'm fine, stop looking at me like that".

In an attempt to calm myself down, stop staring at her like she was going to disappear and basically stop looking like a crazy person, I conjured up two cokes and gave one to her. Sugar was supposed to help for shocks, so it was definitely warranted for me, as I had the shock of a lifetime and maybe the sugar from the coke would be good for Cassie too.

I could still feel my heart beating loudly, and I was still worried about Cassie as I had no idea what just happened to her or if it would happen again.

"I'm sorry, I am just worried about you. If you don't want to see me again, I understand. I will leave you alone, you won't ever have to see me again..."

She reached over and gave me a hug, it shut me up.

"I don't want you to leave"

By the way she was saying it, I could tell that she meant it. I looked back at her, happy that she still wanted to see me and that the kiss I gave her did not ruin things between us.

"Good because I don't want to leave you" I said honestly.

We embraced each other with another hug, it felt like we had finally cleared the air between us. When I released Cassie, she spoke up.

"There's no shock" her voice was almost like a whisper, like she was talking more to herself than to me.

His Daughter's Saviour   Chapter 48: The Witch Village

Leah turned up a few hours later. She told us that they had decided that Mark and Set were going to stay at home as hopefully that would keep Abigail from becoming suspicious. That did mean that the wolves would have to look over Cassie without Mark, however he had already texted them and told them to meet us down at the cabin.

His Daughter's Saviour   Chapter 47: Remembering the past

I was enjoying my flight, knowing that Cassie was safe in my house with Leah protecting her. It made me feel less worried, especially after the defensive display of magic that Leah had manifested by instinct when we were sparring. I knew she still felt bad about it, but in all honesty, it was nothing. If I had been prepared for it, I would have been able to deflect it. My fighting skills go way beyond some elemental magic.

His Daughter's Saviour   Chapter 46: A werewolves Alliance

I teleported us back to the house, but when we got there the house was empty. I started to panic, but Leah told me to calm down. "The wolves would not have wanted to come inside." She said as she walked towards the back garden, I followed her outsi

His Daughter's Saviour   Chapter 45: Research

Cassie and I spent some time just being close to each other after the others had left. Having her remembering her past life helped, and she forgave me for not telling her that I am a demon. After living through Katie's life, she realised why I had been so reluctant in telling her. She also realised that I am different from other demons and that I would do anything for her.

His Daughter's Saviour   Chapter 44: Back to Reality

My consciousness slammed back into my body again. It took some time for me to realise that I was back with Cassie by my side. "We had a baby." I whispered quietly, mostly to myself. "A beautiful baby girl." Cassie turned to look at me. "It was you, it was always you, in my dreams. I wasn't sure, but it was actually you. It actually happened."

His Daughter's Saviour   Chapter 43: Time to say goodbye

Two days later the ceremony for Katie's passing was on its way. Katie's parents were reluctant for me to attend, as it had to be held in the temple, which was a place I was not allowed to visit. On the morning of Katie's ceremony, I was in the hospital, looking over our baby girl Leah, while awaiting confirmation about the situation. Katie's parents had told me that they understood my need to say a proper goodbye to Katie, so they were having a meeting with the elders to discuss the potential of allowing me into the temple this one time. After a lot of waiting, I finally got the word that I was allowed to attend, however little Leah was not allowed to leave the hospital, so I would ha
