Chapter 58

There were a lot of pictures on her phone. She usually cleared her phone when she uploaded the pictures into her laptop, but after a whole day outside, it was filled with pictures again.

She scrolled through the pictures and got to the picture of Blake and Winson. Winson’s cute little face looked exactly like Blake’s. He was like a mini Blake.

If she was not Winson’s mother, it was difficult for her to imagine that the icy-cold Blake would have looked that cute when he was younger.

She started to imagine what Winson would look like when he grew older. Would he be as cool and stiff as Blake?

Jessica shook her head as she would rather not think about it. Her son should not be as stiff as Blake, who was as cold as ice all day long. He was not cute at all.

Her thoughts strayed further away while she wondered if Blake had ever smiled in his life or if he had been born like that?

However, that should not be the case because she had once heard that Blake had a bright personality. He had outstanding looks and came from a wealthy family. Besides that, he had a lot of friends and his career had been smooth-sailing. It felt like he was favored by God since birth, but the only flaw in his perfect life was her. To him, she spelled disaster.

Jessica ironically twitched and took a peek at the man driving in front. He was concentrating on the road and did not notice her peeking at him.

As she sighed a breath of relief, she turned her attention to her phone and took a picture of Blake from the back before she quickly put it away.

There was a saying circling around the younger generations nowadays: being handsome was everything.

Some girls treated guys with outstanding looks differently. They adhered to whatever the guy said and believed everything that he did was correct.

Blake’s side profile might be able to attract hundreds of thousands or even more than a million fans if it was posted on Weibo. However, those girls would find out how difficult it was to live with this man if they spent a day with him.

Back at the aquarium, there were several younger girls who had found him attractive and wanted to take a picture with him, but he had stared at them with his freezing gaze, scaring them at least three meters away.

While the car was moving, Jessica got bored and started to edit the photo she had taken of Blake. She edited his head into all kinds of strange pictures, and she enjoyed it so much that she did not even realize when the car stopped.

Blake saw Jessica through the rear mirror. She was looking at her phone, giggling happily, and her mouth smiled so wide that it almost reached both her earlobes.

He instinctively thought of the lousy project and that stupid app. Was she taking notes again? She did not talk to him at all, so she must be writing down notes about the conversation she had with someone else.

Blake unfastened his seatbelt and turned around. While she was distracted, he quickly and easily seized the phone from her.

Jessica was shocked, but by the time she reacted to the situation, her phone was already in Blake’s hands and she could no longer take it back.

Unlike the last time, she dared not look at Blake as she was frightened.

‘Is she trying to make me mad?’

Blake’s veins were popping out on his forehead when he saw the edited picture on the phone. She was getting bolder by the day! She had taken a picture behind his back and edited his face into a joke!

Half his face in the picture was fine, but the other half had been transformed into an evil witch, and there was even a name beside it: “Evil Wi…”

She had not finished typing, but Blake knew it must be Evil Witch.

His face turned as stiff as rock.

The Evil Witch? The witch who tried to poison her because of her beauty?

He gripped the phone so tightly that it almost cracked.

Blake turned around and looked at the woman who was smiling apologetically. She had never looked this guilty.

“If I’m the Evil Witch, are you Snow White, huh?”

Jessica could almost hear the screech from his grinding teeth. She quickly shook her head and signed, “No, no, I was just fooling around.”

Blake glared at her. He tapped on the phone and deleted the picture in front of her.

The original picture of his side profile then popped up, and just when he wanted to delete it, his finger stopped.
