Chapter eleven

     11. 

  XARA.   

This is really crazy. Him? What is he doing here? 

  "You... "  I muttered gobsmacked as I walked closer into the office.   

"Welcome xara. Have a seat. "   He smiled.Didn't he just dropped me off? And how did he changed his clothes so quickly? How did he even got here without me seeing him? What is he doing here in the first place?

    "What are you doing here and how did you got here in the first place? "   I asked perplexed about the whole situation but he merely smiled and nodded his head towards the chair.   I sighed and took a seat right across from him. 

 "This is my company xara, I'm the owner of BT technologies and about how I got here, don't worry about that. "   He smiled while I just stared at him, trying to process everything he just said.   

 "You're the owner of this company? But why didn't you tell me earlier? "   I frowned and he chuckled.   

 "I wanted to surprise you. "    He shrugged while I stared at him weirdly.     

"So you want a job. Do you have any qualifications? "    He asked and I shook my head.     

"You don't have any qualifications? "    He asked surprised and I nodded twice. 

     "Wow, that's a surprise. "   He muttered under his breath and I watched him type something away on his computer.     

"Okay so.. I would want you to be my personal assistant. You'll arrive here by 8:00am and leave by 4:00pm.  You'll be receiving fifty thousand dollars monthly. Can you do the job? "   He asked and stared at me.       

"Yes why not? You just have to tell me what it means to be your personal assistant "   I smiled and he nodded.       

"Do red knows that you were coming here? "   He asked and I raised my brows at him. Why does he keep asking me questions?       

"Why do you keep asking me about red? Do you know him,? "    I returned the question and he chuckled before standing up from his seat.     He walked to my side and sat right in front of me. He's too close.  What's with humans and space?   

 "Everywhere knows red and I was just curious, red doesn't allow his things off his sight. I'm wondering why he would allow you off especially someone like you. "   He whispered and I wondered what he meant by someone like me.   

 "Anyways as my personal assistant, you're supposed to be assisting me just like in the name. Work on some of my files, arrange my meetings, get my coffee and some other things. You'll get to know tomorrow, you're starting tomorrow "   

What does working on files means and what meetings am I arranging? I better go research on what being a personal assistant means.  I can't lose this job. I'm having a feeling that Blake gave it to me cause he knows me and I'm never getting another one if I mess this one up.     

I nodded and he smiled before moving back to his work.     

"I can have your salary transferred to you now, see it as a welcome to the job. Give me your details. "   He uttered. What details?   

  "What details? "   I asked and he raised his head to look at me.    "Um, your account details. I wanna transfer the money to you now "    He uttered.   

   "But I don't have a account... "     I muttered flatly and he stiffened for a moment as if I've said something wrong.   

"You don't have a account details? Where have you been living? "      He smirked and I rolled my eyes.

     "In the sea. "     I muttered under my breath.       "What was that? "    He asked and I smiled.   

 "I'll take my leave now Blake. See you tomorrow "   I muttered and got off the chair.   

  "Do you need help getting home? "   He smiled and I stared at him. If only red was this easy to talk to and nicer. It would have been better.     

"I'll be fine. "     I flashed him one last smile before walking out of the office.     

 BLAKE.   

 "Why did you let the girl off Blake? You know that was a golden opportunity. You could finally get back at red , why did you let her go? "   Dean uttered, coming closer to me while I stared at xara from outside my glass window.     

That girl. There's something about her, something strange that I can't quite place my hands on.  I mean what type of girl doesn't have a qualification and wants a job?   What type of girl doesn't have a account details at her age? She doesn't even know what being a personal assistant means.   

There's a twist somewhere. There's something hidden about her and I'm gonna find out what.    I'm even surprise she's with red. Red doesn't keep girls. He uses them and fling them away so what made this one so special? Especially a ignorant one?    I'm sure there's something about her and I can't wait to find out what.     

"Kidnapping her and using her to lure red is stupid when I can use her for something else. I've a better plan, trust me and besides she's gonna be here everyday now. "   I smirked as I watched her. She's so innocent.     

"You know red won't let her come here if he finds out and you know he's gonna come for you too. "   Dean uttered and I smirked before taking a sip from my drink.   

 "If it's the xara I know, she's definitely gonna come back here, there's no stopping her and if red want to come to me, let him do so. In the end, everything will work in my favour. "   I smiled.   

 "You're talking gibberish Blake. Have you gone insane? We're talking about Red here Blake! Red! You know you're gonna regret it if you mess with him, I remember that you were the one that came back with a broken nose. " 

 Dean blurted and I sighed before turning to him.   

 "Just trust me on this one man. "    "You don't even know if red cares about the girl. She can just be his relative, you can never know. " 

 I shook my head and smirked.   

 "She isn't his relative and about caring for her, that I'm gonna find out. This time, I'm gonna be the winner if she's who I think she is. "     

XARA. 

   "Sir red asked me to take you ma'am "   I stared at the guy in front of me who I recognize to be one of Red's guard. 

  "Why did he have you follow me? I can take care of myself "  I groaned and rolled my eyes over.     

"Please ma'am.. Sir will break me if I don't take you. "   I sighed and nodded before getting in the car. He closed the door and walked round to the drivers seat.   He got in, start the engine and drove off.     I thought we were gonna go home but instead, he took me to a company.    Ace was boldly written over it. This company is much larger and more beautiful than Blake's own.   

Everywhere was made of glass. Every single place.  Where's this place? Why are we here? I thought he said he's taking me to Red?   

 "I thought we're going to Red. "    I asked when he opened the door for me and he smiled.     

"Yes, this is where he is. "    He muttered and I'm still confused. I got out of the car and we both entered the building.    The inside was even more beautiful than the outside. It's so beautiful, everywhere was sparkling .   A lot of eyes turned to look at us when we entered and I wondered why     Some ladies were giving some looks, what's their problems?    We entered the elevator and we started going up till we stopped.     We got out of the elevator and he knocked a door.   

  He opened it slightly and I caught a glimpse of red and some other people. I think they're having a meeting.    He entered then came out of the office after a little while. He directed me to another office and it's really large. I can see the city through the glasses.   

 "Boss will be here soon. Please stay here. "   I nodded and he walked out while I sat down.    I'm still perplexed about this whole thing. Who owns this company? Why is red here? I've so many questions.

 I was going through some papers when the door opened and red walked in with some girl.     

"Thanks Elena. "   He uttered and she smiled seductively and scowled at me before walking away. What's these girls problem?    I took my gaze to Red and he's staring at me. Is it weird that I want to touch him?    He was putting on a black trouser and a white shirt which had their sleeves rolled up. He's looking so beautiful.   

 "So mind telling me what you were doing at BT? "   He asked before walking to me.       He got to me and he's too close.     Now I'm nervous again.       

"For a job. "     I whispered and he chuckled before shaking his head.   

  "Who would employ you? You've no knowledge about anything. "   Now he's back to being rude?     

"Someone called Blake. Someone who's far better than you. Who isn't arrogant and rude like you. You told me I couldn't survive without you right? Well watch me do so. "   I snapped.   

  "You met Blake? Xara, you can't work there. You can't go there anymore. "   He uttered and I scoffed.     

"Try to stop me. I would never listen to you. I don't care what you say. "   I uttered and proceed to move out but he grabbed my wrist.     

"Xara, listen to me.. "   He said but I jerked my wrist away from his hold.     

"I don't wanna listen to you! "   I yelled.   

 "You're rude and so arrogant. You act like you own the world and people can't survive without you. I hate you, I hate you so fuckin much. You think so little of people and it's irritating. I'm in this mess cause of you but you don't even care, all you care about is your stupid ego!    I hate people like you. People who acts like they own the world, it's really disgusting and I don't care what you.... " 

 I was caught off guard as I was pulled to his chest and he....he kissed me!
