Lawrence was stunned. He looked at Suzy with open contempt. “Why are you afraid? They’re just friends. It’s not a big deal if we enjoy ourselves together.”

That bastard!

Suzy gritted her teeth and tried her best to suppress her anger. “Then, it’s the same if we speak outside.”

Lawrence looked at her suspiciously. Her cheeks were flushed, indicating that she was either shy or angry. Whichever it was, the flush made her appear rather attractive.

He took a look at his friends. Then, he smiled and said, “Excuse me for a while. Let me know when Fletcher is here.”

The others started to make jokes.

“Go ahead and be with your beautiful girl. We’re here even if Fletcher comes later.”

Yvonne stared at Suzy sternly, but Suzy ignored her and just calmly took a peek at Lawrence before leaving the private room.

The minute they were outside, Lawrence immediately pressed her against a wall.

“What are you doing?” gasped Suzy.

Having not expected him to do that, she blushed and tried to resist his advances. Lawrence did not care for her reaction. He bent down, leaning in close and taking a deep breath. He smiled softly.

“You smell so nice.”

“Pervert!” scolded Suzy.

Lawrence was not angry. Stopping her from resisting with one hand, he used his free hand to stroke her tips teasingly. “What a small mouth you have! It’s good for kissing.”

He leaned in to kiss her. Suzy was so frightened that she was on the verge of bursting into tears. However, Lawrence had no intention of stopping.

Suddenly, a cold voice cut in, “What are you doing?”

Stopping for a bit, Lawrence turned around and smiled. “Fletcher, you’re finally here!”

Suzy ducked under Lawrence’s arm, escaping from his grasp. She looked up at the man standing before her.

The man known as Fletcher had an almost perfect, handsome face. His deep eyes seemed cold and dark, and he had a sharp chin, as well as a pointed nose. He was wearing a royal blue suit that outlined his perfect and strong body well. He appeared quite elegant and mysterious.

Suzy had never met such a handsome man before.

Fletcher Moore fixed his eyes on her. His stare was cold and indifferent.

Nervous and frightened, Suzy took a step back.

Noticing how Fletcher was quietly staring at Suzy, Lawrence got annoyed. “Fletcher, don’t tell me you like her! I thought you didn’t like women,” he complained.

Suzy felt like she had fallen into another trap after just escaping from one. She wanted to just disappear then and there, but Fletcher stopped her from leaving.

Finally, he looked away from her, turning to Lawrence instead.

“What’s her name?” asked Fletcher.

“Suzy Mayne,” replied Lawrence, still upset.

He had finally found himself a woman whom he liked. Did Fletcher want her for himself? What kind of power did Suzy have? Why was Fletcher, who was always indifferent to women, interested in her?

“Suzy Mayne?” repeated Fletcher. A cold, cruel smile slowly crept onto his handsome face. “You’ll be with me from now on!”

What?

Both Suzy and Lawrence were so shocked that it made their jaws drop. Lawrence was especially stunned. Reluctant to give in, he stared at Fletcher.

“Fletcher I’m the one who had my eye on her first. You should be reasonable,” he said angrily.

“Reasonable?” Fletcher smiled faintly at Lawrence. “I’m quite reasonable.”

“How could you bully me like this?”

Lawrence was infuriated. How could this be?!

“You cannot bully me like this!” said Suzy, who was much more furious than Lawrence.

She was her own person. Someone independent, with her own free will. How could they make such decisions for her so hastily? It was too much!
