am2_3 Chapter 19 How Many Men Have You Annoyed?

A great fury rose in Fletcher. His eyes grew cold and distant.

Who was Ronald?

How could Suzy mistake him for another man? Just how many men had she been with? How many men had she slept with?

The thought of Suzy with other men made Fletcher angrily throw the blankets onto the floor. Yet, she continued to sleep soundly. Fletcher grabbed her arms roughly and was about to wake her up when he noticed that her body was blazing hot.

Was she having a fever?

In spite of himself, Fletcher felt some compassion for her. However, that compassion quickly turned to rage when he remembered how she had mistaken him for another man.

With a cold expression on his face, he lifted her up and threw her out of the room. He placed her on the other side of the door and closed it.

He did not want to pity her!

Hugging herself tightly, Suzy curled up in the corner by the wall. “It’s so cold!”

The noise coming from upstairs startled Rae, who secretly snuck up to take a look. Seeing Suzy lying on the floor, she smiled wickedly and went back downstairs.

Suzy felt extremely cold and her head hurt like hell. ‘Why is it so cold?’ she wondered.

She woke up with a sneeze. Immediately sitting up, she looked at the person in front of her.

Tick! Tick!

The cold water dripped onto her cheek from her hair. Her pyjamas were soaked too.

Having come back upstairs, Rae was there, looking at Suzy smugly. She seemed cunning and wicked at the same time.

Suzy wanted to scold her but she was too weak to do that. She had no energy left in her.

“Suzy, I see that you’re sick. Here, take some medicine.” Rae looked at her condescendingly and threw a box of medicine at her.

Suzy took the medicine but she was too weak to stand up. “Could you please pour a glass of water for me?” she asked weakly.

Ignoring her cry for help, Rae went downstairs alone. Struggling to her feet, Suzy also went downstairs to the dining room.

There was no warm water there and Suzy was too weak to boil the water herself. So, she had no choice but to consume the medicine with the cold water.

After that, she lay down on the dining table and slept soundly.

Meanwhile, Fletcher was still upset and unhappy about what just happened.

Suzy was just medicine for him. He did not have to be angry with her. As soon as his impotence was cured, he could get rid of her and never touch that dirty body again!

Feeling thirsty, Fletcher got up to go get himself a glass of water. At the same time, he also wanted to check if Suzy was still outside his room.

Surprisingly, she was nowhere to be seen when he opened the door. He frowned deeply. It seemed that Suzy was not terribly sick after all.

When he entered the dining room, Fletcher immediately spotted Suzy sound asleep on the dining table. He could not help feeling guilty. How could he have let her sleep outside his room while she was sick?

As he approached her, she saw a bowl in front of her. He took a close look at it and saw that it was a bowl of sea cucumber powder. Fletcher had bought the powder for his grandpa to strengthen his body. But, Suzy had cooked a full bowl for herself, which cost at least thirty thousand dollars.

‘Suzy, I thought that you were just a gold digger but I never knew that you would steal food too!’ Fletcher was filled with contempt for her. He turned around and went upstairs. ‘She deserves to be treated like this!’

A relieved Rae quietly closed the door behind her. ‘Suzy you’ll be kicked out of the mansion very soon! Then, my daughter will have a chance!’ With that thought in mind, Rae went to sleep.
