Manny p.o.v——————"Morning everyone." I greet my mom and dad noticing the absence of my brother Jasper Joles,my brother. "Where is jasper?." I ask my mother who just looks at me smiling "Oh he has gone to work." Arizona, my mom tells me. "Work?!." Jasper does not go to work because he has not started working at any company. "Yes honey." Davy,my Dad adds to it. "He got a job yesterday and told us in the evening when you were asleep." "Why did he not tell me?." I ask Davy a little angry at Jasper because he always says we are best friend now he did not even tell me about his new job,so rude.

Chapter 9 (Prince Nyx POV) I opened my eyes and looked around. Everyone was asleep now. The room is only dimly lit by a night light hanging in the far corner. I sat up from the bed and untied the wound in my abdomen.  I cringe at the wound.  I can’t believe the human's got hold of Zylian poison. But I guess I am lucky to be found and treated by my mate or else I am sure I will be in serious trouble. The wound is not wholly healed but I’m sure I will be healed completely in a week or less than that if I can get medical treatment from my planet healers. I cringed as I tried to stand up. It still hurts but I can tolerate the pain. My eyes went to my mate sleeping with her head resting on the wooden table. The chair looked very uncomfortable and I couldn’t help but feel guilty.
