Chapter TwoOrdered by letters  Desperate to clear himself of whatever mess he just got into, Grey returned to The Fiery Serpent church—eager to return the contents of the letter (the gun hidden in his dress), and go back to his normal way of living, which could involve prison time. Excuse me, sir." The pastor turned to face him. "Someone made a mistake," Grey came to a stop, trying to explain. "I am a first timer in your church, and I was given this creepy envelope. Somehow, I think someone's tithe was given to me." Grey showed him the contents. The pastor looked at him with keen interest, then said, "I think you're mistaken son. Chapter Three Unseen guardians  Grey woke the next morning to find the lady still asleep. He prayed, folded the sheet he slept with, strolled to the bathroom to have his bath, then left the room to get breakfast for them both. Grey hated cooking, he delighted in fast meals, and just didn't see himself as the kind committed to sit in the kitchen waiting for food to be prepared...he could afford such patience at home. Chapter Four The presence in the dark  "But you look so weak," she said. It was actually now he took proper notice of her for she had cleaned up pretty good. She was a fair beauty with delicate features, brown eyes and brown hair. Her sight was attractive enough to make a man miss his step. "Yeah. Chapter Five Unfortunate incidents  At the start of Thursday morning, Grey had received a letter telling him to see YouTube videos on how to reload, and fix a sniper. Chapter Seven More than a friend  The doorbell had never rung before, but this time it did, getting Grey's attention from bed. He rushed downstairs still with a sleepy face, aimed for the door, then opened it. There was a letter. Grey didn't bother checking if someone scaled the fence or walked through the gate to drop it, there were certain tricks he wasn't going to understand and he knew it. He got up to his room, dropped the letter on the bed and sort to do his morning devotion. When he was done, he tore open the letter:  Dear Mr. Garrett,  You're no longer authorized to speak to the watch. Thank you for the brief conversation last night. Chapter Nine Axel Price  Grey had received a letter the next day telling him to wait at the airport. It was dark outside and almost about to rain. Grey sat in the Range when it began to drizzle. He wound the car windows up, put on some music to kill the silence, then sat still, observing. As far as he knew, he was still sick and wouldn't be reporting to work that day. He watched a plane land, roll a bit, and came to a stop. Someone stepped out in black, opened an umbrella, then a white man with dark shades and a crew haircut stepped out of the plane under the umbrella. He came out with a few other men in black carrying dark-green crates.
